Another Invited

The soon to be hitched senior drove tot eh airport today in his white beedle. Nice trustworthy little car. As usual he looked just like he had always looked at 552. Blue long sleeve shirt and some black jeans. His Strike Gloves firmly on his hands, making sure to keep that enormous energy trapt inside of him. He couldn't just wait out front for his friend, esspecially since the reasoning behind asking him to come to California wasn't all that clear.

So as he marched his little deformed chibi-ness into the airport he had a certain happiness to his steps. He wasn't even sure if the person he was picking up today would recognize him due to the difference between how he is now and back int he day. This person would remember Leon as a seriouse and dark individual, but here is a care free friendly person... The difference is actually frightening.

So there he stood at gat B-9 with passangers getting off. He stood there and watched, looking for his friend.

- Valo stepped off the airplane, and his deep blue eyes, hidden behind silver-white contacts, examined the new city that lay before him. It was certainly much different then 552, and New York. He could probably grow to like it here. He didn't know what inspired him to leave the city, or his friends and loved ones behind. Maybe they wouldn't miss him. He was dressed in what looked like a suit, it even had a tie. That was just his style now. He gripped his suitcase and walked into the airport, the collar around his neck feeling tight.

- Valo walked through the airport past gate B-9, waiting for all of the passengers to clear out. Finally, through the crowd, he caught a glimpse of Leon and his spirits lifted. He pushed his way through the crowd, and came to a stop in front of his friend. A smile formed on his lips, but he noticed Leon seemed different.

"Hey Leon. Been a while, huh?"

A half smile appeared on his face, for maybe less than a second. But it was a remnent emotion left over from his former self. It showed its ugly head every now and then. The days of combat, and continues battle where over... But that remnenet emotion came around ever so often when he was in the presence of someone stronger than him, someone with an aura of power. It just made his Sudeki blood boil. To die on the battle field used to be something he searched for every day... But thats why it went away. Because he 'used' to look for it.

"Hey brah. It has been a long time. Well come on then, we may not have too much time as it is. I've got to fill you in on stuff."

It would probably seem odd at how chipper Leon was, or his enthusiasm for something other than battle. He would help Valo with his luggage and lead him out to his little white bug. Once in the car he would begin explaining things.

"Well, at first glance this place looks cool, huh? Yeah, thats until you go to school here. Massive riots, school on schol rivalries, faculty death, drugs, you name it, this place has done it. But thats not the issue in which I asked you to come down here."

Now one wouldn't quite believe that Leon was gonna what for Valo to ask what the reason was. He usually isn't one to build suspence, but he had to, once Valo did though... Leon would blurt it.

"I'm getting merried."

"Thanks."

Valo said as Leon helped him with his luggage. Valo needed to get away from the city anyways, this looked like the ideal place. That is of course until Leon explained what went on around there.

"Heh. This sounds like more fun then 552, it should be a blast..."

The fights around 552 were getting dull and boring, and as much as Valo wanted to stop fighting, he at least wanted his last fight to be legendary. Such as him against an army of people way stronger then he was, like a bunch of Arks. That would be amusing...

Valo was surprised to hear what Leon said next, the real reason behind why Valo was to come all that way.

"Hey! Congratulations, man. Who's the lucky girl?" Valo said with a grin on his face, it was great news. If Leon had just told him he was getting married, Valo would've come down a lot faster, it was the least he could do for his friend.

"Eurydice... I dont know if I introduced you to her, or if you've met before, but you guys will see each other soon. Nothing special either, just a wedding on the beach."

Leon would do his usual driving, Valo would most likely be used to his reckless endangerment by now. So screaming through the traffic at about 90, he would weeve in and out like everyone else was holding still, ditching the cops twice... In a little white bug no doubt. California Cops are so not good at their job.

"Eurydice..."

The name ringed a bell to him, he at least heard of her name a lot while he was at 552. He had no idea she was here too. Valo didn't really need to brace himself, but he gripped the sides of the seat just in case. Leon was a dangerous driver, but it was fun at the same time. Valo remembered when Leon sacrificed his black transam to save Valo's life by ramming it into a big gang boss, Valo felt a good connection to Leon after that day.

"Yeah, I think I know her. A wedding on the beach sounds nice though, better then having one at 552..."

Valo hoped one day to get married to Jayne, but they were thousands of miles apart now.
