Blackwater: Search and Extract! (Event)

"We ran into a group of people dressed as soldiers, as well. The coordinates came from one of them."

Leyva pulls up his PT and sends the coordinates to one of his elite squads. Then he would nod to the two cadets.

"You've done well. Get yourselves checked out at the medical tent and then get some rest. You've earned it. This just might be the crucial intel that we needed."

With that he would walk past them and start to dead sprint down the path they came only to seemingly turn into smoke and disappear.

As Cain was trudging through on his own he would hear what sounded like a whimper followed by a "sh!" In a building to the side of him!

Cillian would silently follow the guard inside. As he was doing along Cillian would see a tripwire hidden by some rubble. Not one to be tricked so easily Cillian easily avoided this trap. As he continued though his foot would touch the ground and he would hear a sharp *Click*!

Cillian would roll forward and to the side to try and avoid the probable trap!

Cain freezes, then turns towards the building.

It could be a trap, but he’d take the risk.

He starts slowly walking towards the building, trying to listen for more signs. He’s not going to call out yet, as he’d rather see who he’s dealing with first.

Cain starts walking towards the building when a man jumped out and started wildly swing a plank of wood.

"GET BACK! GO AWAY YOU FIENDS! LEAVE US ALONE!!!"

The man yelled as he swung around the piece of wood.

Cillian would leap forward! However with his foot no long holding the mines pressure trigger it would detonate and take down a small portion of the damaged building. A few walls and ceilings would cave in and collapse. Cillian would be hurt but not as much as whoever was crying out in agony. It was the only sound other than the ringing in his ears that he could hear.

Cillian grunts in pain, but tries to find the person crying in agony! He'd come this far.

Cain goes to grab the wood out of the man's hands and throw it to the ground!

"I'm here to help you, you idiot!"

Like a true hero.

The man takes a good look at Cain for the first time and immediately starts crying and grabs hold of him.

"THANK YOU SIR! THANK YOU FOR SAVING US!!!"

He scream cried into Cain's shirt. As he did so more people would begin to exit the building all looking scared, some injured.

Cillian follows the screaming to a room where a part of the ceiling had collapsed. Almost everyone, prisoner and soldier alike in the room was crushed or impaled. Dead... except for one girl maybe 13 years old still crying and screaming. The bottom half of her body was crushed under rubble. She looked at Cillian with tears in her eyes.

"P-please. Save me..."

But try as he might the girls crying would grow quieter, and quieter, until it stopped all together...

Cillian would be able to hear the sounds of fighting.

Cain grimaces, and awkwardly pats the guy's back.

"Alright... everyone follow me. I'll get you to safety. Just stay quiet."

And he would proceed to lead them back to base.

Cillian had been in enough battles and seen enough people die and be wounded to tell how grim the girl's injury was. Though it was one thing to see it with soldiers, another to see it with a child.

Swallowing his grief Cillian knelt down next to the girl, forcing a warm smile onto his face.

"It's okay. You are safe now. Everyone is coming to get you. You can relax."

He said as he cradled her head, gently patting it to try and bring her some measure of comfort in her final moments.

"Everything is going to be okay."

And so he would stay with her during her final moments, unable to heal her body but hoping to at least soothe her soul and not force her to face death alone.

Cain successfully leads 43 people back to base camp, and is hailed as a hero! Yay! People keep hugging him in thanks, and children crawl on him to play, such merriment to be had!

Cillian spares the girl from suffering her final moments alone. While still scared, she was at least in some comfort when her inevitable end came...

Cain would year the sounds of fighting outside. But just as soon as it started it ended. Some soldiers would come into the room, Cillian would recognize them as being some of Leyva's men from the camp.

"Sir, we are evacuating everyone. Please come with us."

The men would help Cillian stand up and leave if he needed the assistance. As Cillian would leave with the soldiers he would see that Leyva was heading up the Search in bring out more and more people that had been kidnapped, civilians and soldiers alike. Quite a lot of people were being saved.

Cara/Kaia: Medal of Excellence(Add-On): +5 to stat of choice (permanent once chosen)

These medals show that the wearers followed their orders to the letter to get the job done. They are a sign of recognition and garner respect from those in the military. These medals also give a permanent +5 boosts to all GM required roles.

Blood of dying man: Can be used as a regent for a one time use spell or potion (must be taken to a mage)

Cain: Title: Savior of the People

Once a thread Cain can feel the power of the people on his side, this gives him a temporary boost of +5 in every stat for 2 posts. (If this power is activated to protect someone it gives a +10 instead)

Binding Cuffs (Can be used as material for crafting if used as a primary Grant's a stasis field that lowers a targets physical stats, if used as a Add-On it can attack stat directly)

Cillian: Charm Bracelet +3 Per +2 Spd

This Charm Bracelet belonged to the girl that died in his arms. If Cillian looks at the charms and remembers that girl his heart hurts but his righteous fury rises. Once "activated" Cillian can ignore all pain for 4 posts. However, once the 4 posts is up he feels any damage he took all at once.

Shrapnel: Can be used to create an item with an Explosive ability

Acoma: Mysterious Qi Crystal: Can be used in a thread or made into an item with for an Ability.

Binding Cuffs (Can be used as material for crafting if used as a primary Grant's a stasis field that lowers a targets physical stats, if used as a Add-On it can attack stat directly)

Sectos: Cain's dusty foot print [Add-On]: While worn Sectos can use Cain's Zero ability twice in a thread.

Qi nullifying choker (Can be used as material for crafting is used as main ingredient it can weaken targets Qi, if used as an add-on can give yourself a Qi boost)

Cara: Blackwater Curiass +6 Def + 9 Spd

This Curiass was made from a special leather that only the Blackwater Fanily had access to. However, there was only a limited amount and most pieces were lost or stolen so now these peices are rare! Four times a thread Cara can choose to add 100% of her Def to Spd, or 100% Spd to Def.

Kaia: Lord Blackwaters Medical Visor (Prototype) +6 Spd + 9 Per

This medical visor was made by Lord Blackburn shortly after making a name for himself as a doctor. Kaia can scan an individual and know any health issues they currently have, twice a thread Kaia can heal herself or an ally back to 100% (not including Qi uses)

Cillian: Blackwater's Royalty Tiara +6 Per +9 Eng

These Intricate and Beautiful Tiaras are only given to the Higher Royalty members and a few of their trusted staff. Cillian can spend a post channelling his Qi into the Tiara, for every post he spends building energy he gets a permanent +5 ft to his Qi range for the thread. After channeling 4 times in a thread he can instead turn all that energy into an explosive Qi attack that deal 200% his Eng in dmg. But the Tiara is useless for the following thread.

Cain: Blackwater Boots +6 Spd +9 Atk

These boots were also specially made by that rare Blackwater Leather and are the only pair known to still exist. For every consecutive post that Cain is running he gets a +5 boost to Spd, when Cain stops running he gets to add the momentum to his next attack (all built up +5's move to Atk for one attack)

Sectos: Mystery Robes +3 to all Stats

These Robes are presumed to have been owned by a famous magician!!! At least that's what the homeless man that smelled like urine said when he handed them over to Sectos. However, despite the old man smelling... awful, and sounding crazy, Sectos couldn't help but notice that despite how filthy the man was and how shabbing his clothes were the Cloak was still immaculate... Nothing seems to special about them now. Maybe after Sectos has worn them awhile he might figure out if they are what the old man claims...

Acoma: Void Gloves +6 Atk +9

While reaching into the nether to pull out whatever Acoma was looking for he would find himself a pair of gloves instead! While wearing these gloves Acoma's entire body both exist and doesn't exist in this world. Four times a thread Acoma and become completely intangible. Physical attack won't affect him, however he will take 2x Qi damage. While intangible Acoma can walk through walls, and has super low gravity as if he were in the moon.
