"Warring gods? Where I'm from "gods" is merely a name of a group of powerful individuals but they are just humans with special abilities, and anyone can attempt to join them and become a god. But I'm assuming you aren't talking about them. And what do you mean I'm being held by tethers?"

He would blow at Drake who would see briefly see three thin tethers of light connecting him to the swamp in three different locations.

Drake looked off to see if there was anything that stuck out about the 3 locations he was just revealed.
"Well... if you were sent to another world by a being you never even contemplated if it even existed, found out you were infected with a deadly virus from said world, which just so happens to have weaken you to only a small percentage of your former strength and ability, were shown that no matter what you do everyone dies, and you just found out you're tethered to three different dangerous locations in that world... what would you do?"

So I'm assuming going around smashing whatever chains he has to hold me down is probably not why he sent me here. But for the life of me I don't know why I'm here and I can't fucking figure it out and its pissing me off!"
He would say punching the wall.
