"Confident, either your are boasting or you don't need the donation to tell when someone crosses your border."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

"I'm confident in the keeper of our land. It is the Kings own blood given life. He is able to tell if anyone comes into our lands uninvited."

[John Doe]

"Well then, I guess we will have to see if I am right or if you are. How do I speak to the King?"

"You wish to speak to the king?"

Kitsu asked musingly as he rubbed is chin.

"Hmmm... I can take you to him if that is your wish?"

[John Doe]

"If he's seeing people right off the street I don't see why not."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

"Its not usually typical. But, I'm sure he will be interested in meeting with an Ex Experiment. Not everyday he gets a blast from the past."

[John Doe]

"Can one ever be considered an ex experiment?"

It was an interesting thought experiment at least. For this current and former experiment.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Kistu chuckled.

"Fair enough, I guess the more appropriate wording would be an 'untethered' experiment."

Kitsu would lead the way to the mansion as the spoke. Thought I might be noted that he was clenching his arm where John had wiped his blood.

[John Doe]

"Upset that I got you dirty?"

He motioned to the arm.

Tact.

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Kitsu smiled.

"Ah, no. I'm just... a bit sensitive is all. No need for concern, I'll be alright shortly."

They reached the Mansion doors and Kitsu would lead then to the throne room where he would knock before entering. Rai wouldn't be on his throne, rather he would be standing over a desk over at the side of the room.

"I'll be with you in a moment."

Kitsu would nod.

"Kind of odd to send someone to collect blood that might react poorly to being exposed to said blood. Kind of a dick move."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

"Well I-"

"He wasn't sent to collect it. He was just out there being nosy. That's just his thing."

Rai interrupted. Hr would straighten back up and walk over to the two and check out Kitsu's arm. John might note that when Kitsu's hand was moved the stain would be gone. Rai checked the arm for a minute before shaking his head.

"You'll be fine, just take some time to yourself to adjust."

Kitsu bowed.

"Yes sir. This is, John Doe. By the way. He is an experiment, freelance."

Rai raised an eyebrow to this and turned to John.

"Is that so. Interesting. Come sit, if you would like."

He would say motioning to a pair of chairs in the corner. He would sit in one of the chairs and wait for an answer.

Kitsu however would turn to John.

"I'll be leaving now. I hope we get the chance to talk again later. You seem an interesting individual."

With that he would turn and leave.

[John Doe]

"I'm sure I'll be around if you are gonna be nosy. But yeah, I wouldn't object."

He winked at Kitsu before following Rai in, taking a seat and crossing a leg over the other.

"I figured there would be some rolly chair Mr. Bond thing going on. I feel misled."

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Rai chuckled.

"Sorry, not today. I'm busy planning an impromptu party."

He would say with a sigh rubbing his eyes.

"But that's neither here nor there. Tell me, what brings you to my home?"

[John Doe]

"Wait. Doesn't impromptu mean unplanned?"

He tilted his head before shaking it off. It didn't matter, not his problem.

"Looking for a runaway. Preferably alive. I'd hoped to revisit some old sights from my youth as well, but last time I was here things were less blood fetishy. So I'm guessing that field trip is a bust."
