[Sage Sudeki]

"Too much like Rai at that age... In a different way."

Spike would nod his head and turn to leave.

"I'll drop by later for a social call."

[Lucifer]

"Best of luck to you. It was a pleasure to see you again Spike."

And he would let Spike leave as well! No traps today.

[Drake]

When Spike came out Drake wouldn't be in the car, rather leaning on back of it just staring off at the sky. His poison crystal in his hand as he seemed to subconsciously be playing with it.

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would leave and close the door behind him walking back to the car he'd lean against it looking up as well.

"Handled yourself alright in there. Dunno if fully burning that bridge was a good idea, but you held true to yourself at least."

He'd fold his arms and wait for Drake to be ready to leave.

[Drake]

"So, do you really believe removing me from the equation is the best move?"

Drake would ask, somberly. Still staring at the sky playing with the Crystal.

[Sage Sudeki]

"Depending on the game being played, probably. Unless you think we can out play both our fathers."

Spike would raise his shoulders in a shrug.

[Drake]

Drake would scoff.

"Doubtful, if even half the stories I heard growing up are true."

He'd look at Spike.

"Also, for the record, self sacrifice isn't always the right answer..."

He would get up and walk towards Spike.

"Believe it or not, I was in a position where I believed sacrificing myself would save everyone..."

He scoffed as he looked at the small flower sitting in his seat.

"All I succeeded in doing is killing everyone I wanted to protect."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would follow the look to the flower and the Sprite.

"I understand that. I lost a lot of friends and allies during the war. It's not about death, it's about making sure you can't be used like a puppet."

Spike would walk to his drivers door and get in.

"Whats with the flower, anyway?"

[Drake]

Drake stuffed the crystal in his pocket and picked up the flower, sitting down.

"I doubt you would believe me."

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would start up the car and pull out into the road to begin the drive back to Lightning Country. Staying quiet for a few moments.

"I have these memories... Of things that never happened. Years of battles in some sort of gladiator field, used as a secret assassin for my enemies against my allies. A darkness abruptly swallowing the world as chains erupted from the ground and impaled the moon. Like death."

[Drake]

Drake blinked.

"Ah. Ok. So-"

Drake would then recount the entire experience to Spike. Not missing a detail. He might have started to have flashbacks...

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would drive while listening, not interrupting or asking questions, just listening. When the story was done he would look at the Flower again and then back to the road.

"I understand."

He'd finally say before leaning on his hand that was propped against the door while the other was steering.

"Being my fathers son, I trained my whole life to be an efficient fighter. I had to grow amazingly fast, even when we found out my fathers Qi was too strong for his body, I would challenge even Dragons to fights so that I didn't lose my dad. He is harsh, cold, brutal... But he cares. I can see the fear in his eyes, that he might lose my sister and I one day leaving him completely alone. Old age takes us, or some mission goes wrong. While he stays young and powerful forever. Forbidden from taking action even to save our lives else the world turn on him anyways and our territory is destroyed for fear of another great war."

[Drake]

Drake just shook his head.

"This system. The accords. It's a shit band aid. Its does nothing but make everyone paranoid over who is going to be the first to break the accords. Which lefs face it, is a matter of when, not if."

He would look at Spike.

"What if our fathers are planning something... and what if they are right to?"

[Sage Sudeki]

Spike would nod at Drake's statement.

"Right, the accords are a band aid, people are using it I'm sure in both directions and it will eventually fail. If our fathers plans succeed my place is at my fathers side."

He would say, his conviction of staying loyal obvious...

"But until then, I am lawfully a member of the accords and will act to keep them intact for as long as possible."

[Drake]

"Hm... I wish I knew where my loyalties should lie as well as you do. As it is now I don't know if my father is right, or your father, or even you and Lightning. The Earth Dragon did open my eyes to that unfortunate truth. Despite my claim to be my own man, I've spent my whole life being tugged around by one force or another. I don't know who I am without someone directing me... and I HATE that. More than anything."
