[Cain Rhamos]

Cain is currently staring at the handle he'd gotten from Mount Olympus, taking up the entire hallway as he's lost in thought.

Cillian was coming back from some sparring, sweat beaded on his brow, his armor smudged and scuffed, but he was in high spirits. It was a good workout.

"Everything alright? You look like you're a bit lost. Break your blade?"

Sucks to lose a good weapon.

[Cain Rhamos]

This man has armor.

Cain is jealous.

"No, I dunno what I'm supposed to do with it."

He points it at Cillian.

"See? It never had a blade to begin with. The fuck!"

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian would look at it, and sure enough, it did lack any sign of having once had a blade. Though the handle is well made!

"Looks like it is unfinished. Often times smiths will make the blade and the hilt or handle separate from each other. You attach them after they are both completed. It looks well made though. Are you trying to decide what kind of blade to commission for it?"

[Cain Rhamos]

"Maybe."

Cain admits, frowning.

'I don't know enough about smithing to know what would fit this handle."

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Yeah... Unfortunately, I don't either. I'm not a smith. I can appreciate craftsmanship, and I know a little of the idea of the process. But I've never so much as shoed a horse myself."

[Cain Rhamos]

"Shoed a horse? Is that the term? That's dumb."

Cain frowns harder!

"I thought it'd be more special since it's from the God of smithing."

He doesn't actually know who made it.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Oh, horseshoes. You know."

Did he not know about horses?

Then he mentioned the Gods and Cillian's face fell.

"Ah. I see that makes sense."

Of course, a God wouldn't concern themselves with the issues of mere mortals such as him.

"Oh, I know."

He nods to the horses part, then frowns even more at the tone he's given.

"What?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"It's the work of Hephaestus, God of the Forge. He is the one that makes all of their stuff, is he not?"

Cillian had less interest in the handle now.

[Cain Rhamos]

"Probably."

Cain nods.

"I meant what's with the attitude?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Do you mind if I speak bluntly?"

[Cain Rhamos]

"No?"

Hasn't he been already? What a weirdo.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"I find the Gods to be distasteful and I am dubious at best at their gifts. I believe they are a detriment to the people of their territory, and at least one of the major political factions of this territory."

[Cain Rhamos]

Cain's eyes narrow.

"Why?"
