Mental Information

Personality:

A gentle soul with an honest face. They say one twin is always more submissive than the other, and that would definitely be Rowan in this case. His easygoing nature and soft-spoken manner mean his older twin tends to call the shots. Rowan will sometimes provide a voice of reason, but otherwise merely tries to be supportive.

Despite being a very capable young man, Rowan tends to be humble about himself, preferring to instead lift others up to new heights. Simply put, he prefers to help rather than take the role of a leader; though he is more than capable of being one if time calls for it. Most of the time he just feels like he needs to take a step back so others can find that strength within themselves.

His true calling seems to be that of a protector. He feels very strongly about helping those weaker than him, and even those stronger than him in most cases. He has no tolerance for villainy but will still hold a level of empathy for those he puts down. Everyone has a story. Even if they cannot be forgiven for their deeds, they still deserve compassion.

History:

Rowan grew up content with meeting expectations. He always did enough to prove himself as a mage, but never seemed to truly push himself over into excellence. His entire life, those around him always thought he had enough raw talent and was smart enough to surpass his current level, but, the boy seemed happy just 'doing very well'.

He never felt a need to distinguish himself from his twin brother. In his opinion, they were so vastly different already that he couldn't fathom ever being mistaken for Simon. Even still, as his twin brother continuously rebelled and refused to be anything like him, Rowan simply supported him in finding his own path. Was it practical? Not in the least. But perhaps an impractical path could lead to something unexpected.

Rowan seemed to have an natural aptitude with public relations. He was soft-spoken and unassuming, but still held a level of authority for things that were too important to ignore. He was well known for building strong social relationships and probably the most honest about them as well. It wasn't just for appearances for him. No matter who it was, he treated all his friendships as the real deal. Did it leave him with way too big of a circle? Sure. But Rowan made it a point to find time for all of them, and his soothing presence made him pretty popular.

His path mostly lead him down into discovery. Anything old and unknown, he had a passion for. If there were no answers to something, he wanted to discover it.

Learning that Cabal held many artifacts of the War, Rowan too became interested in attending in the hopes of discovering something.

Qi Name: Le Sorcier Guardien

Strengths: Rowan can cast powerful defensive spells to guard both himself and others. Many of such spells offer negative consequences to those who would try to penetrate or ignore them.

Weaknesses: Rowan's spells offer few true offensive options, causing him to be more of a staller than an attacker. If he cannot outlast his opponents, he doesn't have much up his sleeve for putting down his enemies. He does best when working with others to make up for his lack of offensive power.
