Sowing the Seeds The steady motion of grey clouds overhead were most notable on the scene of the school, certainly during the early stages of fall that was odd seeing as just days prior Jayr had been tanning along the beaches of San Diego in the summer heat. However today was something completely different; new day, new school, things were drastically changed.
Jayr Byrne, transfer student, well not entirely. While her transfer records were still in transit Jayr decided this week was a good opportunity to check up on the other school's in the area, by luck itself 259 in Laguna Beach was her choice. As Captain of 774 Jayr felt as though she had a significant resilience here, or at the very least a subtle understanding of how the school system worked. Now it was just a matter of getting down to brass tax.
Dressed in elegant black tight jeans as well as a thick overcoat Jayr pulled off the look of a sultry business woman. Something that'd not been all too keen in San Diego. Marching with the steady click and clack of her heels against the pavement Jayr would turn heads as she made her way to the front office.
"Could anyone point me in the direction of the trouble students here?" Jayr would smile a pen in her hand angling up quickly into her mouth as she bit the cap teasingly.

OOC: If you're an old Calvin & Hobbes fan... I apologize for the improper mascot, and what is actually a direct reference to them, but the improper mascot was already... established from beforehand a year or two ago. >___>;Old Faces, Opportune Times From behind a desk rested a giant, old computer that whirred loudly on the left corner, as a young man sat in his chair behind it, reading a large paperback novel. Sitting on the right corner of his desk sat a patched-up, worn down teddy bear, with a small necklace around its neck that read in silver, "Hobbes." At the very center of the slightly busy looking desk was a simple name card that said "Calvin."
*Lick*
*Flip*"You're looking for trouble students?" Licking his lightly finger to get a better grip on his book, Calvin didn't even bother to look up at the girl for a few more moments. The adventures of Liu Pei, Kuan Yu and Chang Fei were a bit cheesy, but fascinating. The simplification of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" in terms of Chinese to English were easy, but it was incredible to see how a novel of nearly two-thousand years could still continue to spin off such interest in the modern era with movies, games, etcetera. However, Gramps would yell at him if he read a few more pages into the Yellow Turban Rebellion as opposed to doing his job and it wasn't like he was that deep into the book anyhow. Changing the demeanor of his face ever so slightly to a more... friendly, the young man looked up at what came across to be a rather (admittedly) attractive, young lady.
She kind of looked like that chick from the "Transformers" movies, but... naw. He'd been stuck with the Correctional Facility for too long to get his movie references right. Cal' realized with some amusement how casually he could think about being stuck in that cell as almost some sort of disappearing dream... that still gave him nightmares.
He'd made her wait a good seven seconds. It would be rude(r) to delay any further.
...It dawned on Calvin how preposterous her question was. Why would this girl (spunky as she appeared to be) want to risk a scuffle and get her rather nice looking clothes all dirtied? She had the freedom to dress how she wanted, look how she wanted... actually, the more that Calvin thought about it, he stopped caring so much as to what she intended to get herself involved in, as he realized in his own sense of self-worry that he still valued the freedom of choice more then anything else.
A hard earned lesson.
Anyhow, Sis had shown him otherwise... in what seemed now as so long ago. From what Cal' understood, the strength in women was hardly what their stigma made them out to be, putting the "butch" stereotype aside.
In honest curiosity, he wondered why he resisted so much."Erm. Hm. Well...---" "ARE YOU GOING TO ANSWER THE NICE GIRL OR NOT, SONNY?" ...The booming, cantankerous voice came from the open side door creaked loudly as it opened and closed of its own accord. Calvin was staring rather irritably at the speaker."COME ON GRAMPS, I'M WORKING HERE.""BACK IN MY DAY, WE WERE PROMPTLY AND WITH IMMEDIATE KINDNESS. YOU'RE ADAM'S SECRETARY. ACT LIKE IT."
"BESIDES, SONNY, SHE MIGHT MAKE YOU A GOOD WIFE. HA! HA!" Calvin's face turned abruptly red with embaressment. Freddo was always talking like that with every single remotely cute girl that came in, as if he were talking to his own son or summat.
Turning to the girl, he shook his head, trying to regain some sort of sense of composure, a stubborn look of resistance on his face. He was being a bit of a hardass, but he was legitimately concerned."Anyhow, I still don't know if I should tell you. I don't know if you're just going to join one of the groups running around or play a 'righteous' vigilante or whatever. That's too blunt and bold of a request for---" "---The Student Captain of Public High School #774, Jayr Byrne, am I correct?" came a voice from doorway behind the girl. Calvin froze.
A Japanese man stood, adjusting his gloves onto his hands with a very neat, very clean suit on. Immaculately clean and precise without any wasted movement, there appeared to be no subconscious excess movement of his hands, the rest of his body remaining very still. His hair held a strange item on it and about his head, as he respectfully nodded in what could only be described as "with precision" towards the girl, before resuming some final adjustments.
He appeared to have already done some background check on Miss Byrne. ...And have incredibly good hearing."I am the Student Dean of Public High School #259, Mr. Taylor Adam. Your request will be validated so long as you can inform us as to your intentions. Otherwise...""How may I help you?" OOC: I beg pardon a bit of suspense on my end, as I assure you this post does not contain moderator meta-gaming. It will be explained/clued as to how Taylor Adam is so informed in later posts.

New Faces Jayr's attention itself was spot on but not that mindful of details, the names indicated by placards representing the aid at the desk and the other itself was beyond her focus and she paid no mind to that. She was much more of a features person, meaning that she could recognize the face, she could read emotions, thoughts and perhaps ideals at the other side as they were expressed which gave her advantages on the scene.
"You're looking for trouble students?" [/right] The boy at the desk would speak up. Something about his tone left her at unease, had she asked the wrong question? Because normally most would have been perplexed whereas the boy before her seemed to wane in thought drifting along another pathway. The delay was long enough for her to get slightly nerve racked, being at this new school didn't give her a feeling of control rather the opposite a state of misunderstanding and contemplation where each step would be placed next. Jayr would clear her throat lightly not to seem in a rush but rather redirect attention up back to her eye level so that she knew he wasn't on some sort of psychosis drugs. Jack was something similar to that, seemed distant with people and rather absorbed in materials, one sided things. "Erm. Hm. Well...---" "ARE YOU GOING TO ANSWER THE NICE GIRL OR NOT, SONNY?" Jayr would feel even herself jump a bit at that large statement, before anyone would notice her offbeat figure Jayr would quickly retract back to an erect position settling her hands into her lap and straightening out her attire. With a short yet deep breath Jayr would smile pleasantly as though everything was in order as she'd suspected though all the while still she was a tad nervous. "COME ON GRAMPS, I'M WORKING HERE.""BACK IN MY DAY, WE WERE PROMPTLY AND WITH IMMEDIATE KINDNESS. YOU'RE ADAM'S SECRETARY. ACT LIKE IT."
"BESIDES, SONNY, SHE MIGHT MAKE YOU A GOOD WIFE. HA! HA!" Almost in sync Jayr would flush a livid pink in unison with the boy, though not like she'd been complimented as such she did however find it humorous and embarrassing to have one's elders pitching in about marriage. Besides technically she was with Donnie. A lurch rising in the pit of her stomach as she considered that. She'd all but up and left just after he'd asked her out, without notice or anything. Just a tad bit of a shocker on her end as she contemplated the correct course of action. 'Oh hey Donnie, yeah I just ran out of town for a week no biggy right?' She figured just how well that'd go over after the night she'd hung out at his house how the boy kept walking out at an almost livid pace. "Anyhow, I still don't know if I should tell you. I don't know if you're just going to join one of the groups running around or play a 'righteous' vigilante or whatever. That's too blunt and bold of a request for---" "---The Student Captain of Public High School #774, Jayr Byrne, am I correct?" "Yes?" Jayr's eyes would turn upward from their seclusion of thought fixating on the man coming out, his frame slightly intimidating but then the dreadlocks all but killed the facade for her. Jayr had always been around scary men in youth what with her step-father being ex-KGB and all. Russian's the scariest of the lot. Almost instantly she found a somewhat lustering respect for the new man she'd just be meeting now. In a weird way. "I am the Student Dean of Public High School #259, Mr. Taylor Adam. Your request will be validated so long as you can inform us as to your intentions. Otherwise..."Jayr would smile up at him curiously with innocent hues, the inner most layer a deep seated black while expanding out they got brighter, sparkling with Cerulean terraces the outer defining line speckled with gold. She'd not know what to say, why had she considered speaking out? It was all just another test for her, 774 had once been her home but the school was so easily taken under her wings that she felt empty. Why was she here now? Another challenge? A new dominion? ? Unity? Conflict? She didn't quite know herself. "A pleasure to meet you Mr. Adam." Jayr would step forward taking a respectful half bow of sorts as she approached making her way past the desk that defined her as no longer in the students section but decisively placing herself not past the barrier that made up teachers aiming to form a sort of trust for the time being as she extended a hand, slenderly so to be taken or rejected, either way down playing the contact as little more than introductions. "How may I help you?""I come seeking knowledge and understanding." She'd reply in a completely sober statement figuring it to be bland enough not to compromise her but defining enough to allow her some leeway. "I would hope that you could help, otherwise I suppose I'll find another means."[/blockquote]

OOC: ...Please note, conversations occurring between * cannot be heard physically. They are occurring in this order.Business As Usual ...? "A pleasure to meet you Mr. Adam."Still standing as still as he had when he had first initially spoke up from the entrance-way to the office, Mr. Adam did at least take a few steps towards Miss Byrne with a cordial grip and shaking of hands. The primarily serious expression, however, only seemed to continue to stare at Miss Byrne in an almost... blank mannerism, as if he were deep in thought.* * * * * * * * * * * * * *"Thank you, Calvin. Now, please check into her records. Freddo, can you keep watch?"**"Of course, sir. Things have been rather dull, anyhow."**"Right, right... looking. Sorry about before." **"It is alright. We're lucky enough to strike the deal to keep you with us, its our own fault we haven't gotten you proper training."**"Still. Knowledge and understanding? That's vague." **"Yes it is."** * * * * * * * * * * * * "I come seeking knowledge and understanding."To her credit, Jayr was keeping incredibly polite and professional as a high school student or even comparatively to a full-fledged businesswoman to Mr. Adam. Although he did not show any signs of recognition, Mr. Adam was impressed by the respectful bow, greeting, and confidence that Miss Byrne was bringing to the table thus far. His face, however, was kept tightly sealed into what could only best be described as a lukewarm acceptance of Miss Byrne's presence."I would hope that you could help, otherwise I suppose I'll find another means."Calvin looked up from behind the table and shrugged, as he kept typing into the computer. While not looking at the monitor himself, Mr. Adam was also nodding along with Calvin as if he was reading something... simultaneously. Nodding decisively, the Japanese man made a light motion to another door, further into the office before holding still as his head turned to Miss Byrne."Then please direct yourself to my office, Miss Byrne. I will accommodate you shortly; I apologize, but I must see to something urgent for a moment."Waiting for a moment to see if she would let herself in or no, Mr. Adam turned about slightly as he walked into "Gramps'" office for a good ten seconds. Calvin himself was busy typing away, as he began to pull up multiple files, seemingly getting engrossed in his work. Should Miss Byrne have made her way to Mr. Adam's office and turned around ever so slightly... she may have caught a glimpse of text in regards to "Public High School #774" but otherwise.
However, if Miss Byrne decided to stay outside, not knowing what to do with herself, Calvin's attention would shortly be drawn towards the now closed doorway to "Gramps'" office, as if silently alerted to something. He would furrow his brows, then click out of everything on his computer, before pressing his hands on the table to help himself stand up."Come on, let's get you inside." Calvin would head to the door, open it up and walk inside himself, his right hand staying on the edge of the door as he leaned towards the wall a bit lazily to let her in. Then he'd then close the door after her and would pull from the corner of the room a comfortable-looking wooden chair and prop it before the Dean's desk accordingly before he would get another spare one and sit himself on the side, hugging his arms over his chest.
Regardless of how Jayr got in, once she finally was inside the Dean's office, further inspection would alert her to how... plain the room was. There was only one window to the outside with the horizontal blinds down, but adjusted to filter in a moderate amount of sunlight that would barely touch on the slightly faded green rug that encompassed the floor under the Dean's wooden desk up to close to the doorway to the Dean's office. Several chairs could be found lined up in the corners of the room, suggesting that on occasion the Dean would be discussing with a larger group, considering the space given for any guests compared to how little room the Dean's desk was given towards the back.
Calvin (if present) would suddenly look up, to the exit/entrance to the Dean's room from his rather comfortable looking position."Everything alright out there?" If not, then Jayr would notice absolutely nothing as she had let herself (and hopefully sat herself) into the Dean's office.* * * * * * * * * * * * * *"Just some trouble students. Freddo's going to handle it."**"Gotcha. Tell him to go easy on them for me." ** * * * * * * * * * * * * The door to the Dean's office would open for the Dean himself who had on a small smile before dismissing it smoothly as he worked his way into the room.
If Calvin was in the room at that point, the Dean would hold the door open before Calvin would walk himself out, sighing loudly before a loud *whumpf* sound emenated, signifying that Calvin had sat down in his chair again, as the Dean would close the door after him.
Of course, if it was just Miss Byrne and Mr. Adam, he'd close the door after himself and beeline for his own chair (provided Byrne hadn't decided to sit in it herself, in which case, Mr. Adam would smoothly transition to getting a chair for himself and sitting it in front of his own desk). Wherever Mr. Adam sat, his back would be in an upright position without even touching the back of his chair."I apologize for the delay. Unofficial Assistant Dean Freddo had something pressing to detail me on before a odd misdemeanor of juveniles was alerted to our attention. Now then.:"
"You requested knowledge and understanding, presumably on the issue of problem students at Public High School #259. I in turn ask if you mean internally, externally, or if you also wish me to also explain on further revolving problems at this school that affect the student's academic work as well."The Dean's stoic face remained, as he looked around (on purpose) at his empty desk, save for the single computer monitor on the right side and a pen holder and various other miscellaneous trinkets on his desk. Mr. Adam would be looking more intensely especially if Miss Byrne was seated at his desk on his chair.
This time, the Dean's eyes were unmistakably locked onto Miss Byrne's with genuine interest.

Understanding. His expression, tight lipped with no response towards her former greeting but asking for such perhaps was too presumptuous although it wold indeed help in abetting her nervous predicament. Why was she here after all? Perhaps it was vanity and ambition that drove her to such strides, alas t'was the fall of Caesar not Ambition. D'oth was in noble Brutus' eyes.
Jayr would bite at her lip catching the small inaudible look from one man to the next, young and eager she was but not unobservant. The pair had given away the air of understanding, granted they knew each other fairly well for the matter, enough to pick out noticeable defects or signs. Then again Jayr was reacting aggressively, denoting their personalities rather than her own, back tracking she'd recurse upon her own speech though coming to a brick wall as she didn't read the significance.
"Then please direct yourself to my office, Miss Byrne. I will accommodate you shortly; I apologize, but I must see to something urgent for a moment."
Jayr would respectively nod as she lowered her frame briefly albeit a tad bit revealing with her low cut shirt before retreating aback with her books nestled closely against her chest.
"Thank you."
Jayr would proceed onwards complacent of the reply she got, she'd given the man no reason to be at odds with her and she'd hoped that he felt the same way. Silent pacts of sorts were her way of better understanding the world in which she lived.
"Everything alright out there?"
She'd not budge too much, slowly her head would angle back towards the door way catching the figures in a speaking motion but their words falling upon her ears deafly. Shrugging in an innocent fashion Jayr would disregard it once more and look upon the room concerned about the arrangement. Appearances were in fact everything to her, changing drastically as they went, so with her first move she'd walk up to the desk and rest her hands over it feeling the wood slightly before returning back again into the chair nestled right before it. Jayr wanted to be at the center of attention here, strategically so she'd place herself right before the desk as to not presume herself in control but to be at the forefront of the business end.
"I apologize for the delay. Unofficial Assistant Dean Freddo had something pressing to detail me on before a odd misdemeanor of juveniles was alerted to our attention. Now then.:"
"You requested knowledge and understanding, presumably on the issue of problem students at Public High School #259. I in turn ask if you mean internally, externally, or if you also wish me to also explain on further revolving problems at this school that affect the student's academic work as well."
It was interesting to observe this man, in all ways. He didn't reveal much on the surface which would normally scare any other fully functioning person but Jayr had been a long time participant in this club. Her step-father Alexi had been like this more often than not; cold, detached, stoic even. But all the while fatherly. A deep breath followed by a sigh and Jayr would sit up.
"It's not a problem at all." She'd smile welcoming the reply courtly, she knew business was important so long as thats truly what it was. "All of the above if that wouldn't be too much of a compromise Mr. Adam,"
She'd remain smiling in a friendly gesture truly unconcerned about the repercussion, quite honestly there were two ways to go about life, in or out and she'd been living on the edge for quite some time, and was loving it. Jayr would sit more upright at this point settling her books into her lap and settle her right leg to cross over her other; hands neatly folding above the books in place.
"You see, I'm interested in knowing."

Admission "Alright... where are the whipper-snappers?"
"Ah, there we are... Boys..."* * * * * * * * * * * * * "All of the above if that wouldn't be too much of a compromise Mr. Adam," the young lady would state after a comforting smile over the Dean's previous apology....Miss Byrne, beheld in Mr. Adam's eyes, was quite the spectacle. Calvin was busy, resuming his background check on Miss Byrne as they watched the Student Captain of Public High School #774 bow, smile, and hold a generally appealing disposition towards the faculty of this immediate vicinity, which made her request all the more interesting behind the stony face of Mr. Adam. She was a young lady who held onto a sense of recklessness as well as a mildly contradicting knowledge of respect for chain of command. Many things passed through the Dean's mind as he read along with Calvin over Miss Byrne's recorded past---Yet, Calvin was in the other room.
..."You see, I'm interested in knowing."Yes. Miss Byrne knew how to play her cards correctly. And given her recorded abilities from the borrowed Public High School #774 records, this combination easily explained how this rather becoming young woman had become a Student Captain."Very well. I apologize in advance for the length," the Dean said... permitting her a rare, quiet, but very small smile which disappeared briefly after. Miss Byrne had accumulated enough of his respect for at least this much.
To at least know if even a little of what she was getting herself into.
Mr. Adam quietly held his hands together as he continued sitting upright in his chair, as he stared at the girl without hesitation. His prepared voice was very monotonic and matter-of-fact and would maintain this form and voice consistency..."Let us begin, then.""Public High School #259, for the record, is like many other Public Schools of the instated 'Corporal Punishment' system that allows for the physical disciplining of students by elevated and priveleged students of the 'Student Hierarchy,' otherwise known as the 'Pillars' of that school. This 'Student Hierarchy,' again for the record, is what helps maintain the peace in schools and permits students to continue on in schools with this 'Corporal Punishment' system as opposed to suspending and expelling students. This in itself has helped create various sub-cultures in every Public High School that is run by the 'Corporal Punishment' system; some schools favor a rule by the strong, others favor the popular, and many have made different variations in how these 'Pillars' are instated."
"Unfortunately, this system, while succeeding in keeping GPAs higher is not without its obvious examples of corruption and abuse."
"In more relevant issues, Public High School #259 has been evaluated by the state and has been in danger of being closed down on more then one occasion. While possessing an incredibly high level of grades and producing remarkably intelligent and capable individuals, Public High School #259 is also known for its equally incredibly bloody and controversial past, almost on par with the many legal issues occurring in Public High School #552 based in New York."
"Recent times, the Student Hierarchy system has now been split into four factions, with hundreds of students following the Pillars in their 'armies' along with their 'generals'. A war for dominion over the school has seemingly broke out, though very few have actually attempted to attack any of these standing student armies. However, the problems of Public High School #259 range beyond this, with many notable gangs forming on the grounds. These gangs include 'The Syndicate,' 'The Exiles,' 'Tycoons,' 'Militia,' 'Shift,' 'The Guardians,' 'Survivors,' 'The Reapers,' 'The Black Knights,' 'Movement,' and 'The Dragons.' There was also a Pillar-Run 'Regalia' at one point. Of all these gangs, I believe only 'The Dragons' loosely still exists."
"I must state again, however... the problems of Public High School #259 range beyond even these gangs."
"Public High School #259 has in fact been targeted by many terrorist factions, including an organization led by individuals believing themselves to be Greek Gods which has invaded Public High School #259 on more then one occasion, inbetween which, Mr. Asiv, the school Supervisor, made a potentially illegal move in utilizing the students of Public High School #259 in counter-attacking this "Gods" faction."
"The Enforcers idea and system became popularized in Public High School #259, possibly in light of this direct attack on the Public High School, which is still State soil. For the record, we known the Enforcers as various groups of rising popularity in various countries that help or replace the Student Hierarchy system, typically utilizing the college students for further shows of familiarity and dominance."
"However, this is where further legal issues of Public High School #259 have come to light... where 259ers have been captured by the legal state and foreign Enforcers, and experimented on with equally experimental drugs. This has been hushed by the state and a confederation of these Enforcer Corporations."
"At this point... I must point out, again, that Public High School #259's 259ers are infamous for being... incredibly powerful and fast-maturing, if at times unruly. Powerful enough to be considered for selective conscription into the U.S. army---though, at this point, this is only rumor."
"I continue in regards to a Enforcer Corporation run Correctional Facility, primarily funded by the German Enforcer Corporation, or the G.E.C. as well as the Japanese Enforcer Corporation, or J.E.C. The rise of this legal allowance to experiment on U.S. soil has been a best-kept secret. Many human lives, aside from 259ers have been warped, altered, and changed, primarily against their will. There have been casualties in the name of science and military gains for all participating nations."
"It is upon the call of Sean Barker, who had been giving experimental (stereoid-in-nature) drugs to 259ers, a former close associate of Mr. Asiv, that Mr. Asiv realized what was occurring, and once again made a legally questionable utilization of his students in rioting and rebelling against the Enforcers entrenched on 259 grounds, at the time seemingly sacrificing his life in defense of his students against a rivaling faction of Enforcers that had been playing behind the scenes."
"Unfortunately, with the rebellion came an unnatural series of student disappearances of a few 259ers to the Correctional Facility."
"Mr. Asiv's supposed death was utilized in providing a false sense of security in the presiding Correctional Facility, before Mr. Asiv made his reappearance and called forth, once more, for a questionable utilization of his students. At this point, however... there was already a rising organization known as Militia that had the exact same goal in mind."
"A simultaneous attack on the Correctional Facility from both Public High School #259's students as well as some of its strongest faculty proved to be too much for the Enforcers, whom on the verge of defeat, initiated the self-destruction of the Correctional Facility... the self-destruction of which would be publically known as 'a horrible gas leak gone wrong' to the local masses."
"The only blessing that came of the Correctional Facility's destruction at this time was the permanent removal of Foreign Enforcer Corporation presences from direct contact of Public High School #259 grounds and its students. There thankfully little casualties on the school's side. Unfortunately... many of the victimized experiments escaped during this fiasco. The issue with this is now that many mentally unstable, overly-powered humans have been seemingly hidden away in normal society, forming their own factions, many with their own agenda."
"A city-breaking earthquake destroyed Public High School #259 several months ago now, causing to the destruction of the school itself, displacing its students and faculty to Public High School #42, where many identity issues have been noted, before Public High School #259's restoration and the eventual shutdown of Public High School #42, overwhelming the halls of Public High School #259 with many transfer students as well as new native 259ers, creating much tension."
"...Following this came an attack by an anonymous group of whom I shall term as 'Experiments' of the Correctional Facility incident as well as a counter-attack by the 'Gods' organization, though at this point, Public High School #259 was swelling with incredibly talented students."
"I know all this, as the previous Student Dean, prior to his (surprisingly noble) death in the earthquake, was the former Student Dean of Public High School #260 as well as... a very close associate of the Enforcers."
"I myself was a leading officer of the Japanese Enforcer Corporation, prior to the destruction of the Correctional Facility at that time."
"Previously... a combine with resources from the Japanese Enforcer Corporation and the German Enforcer Corporation led to a small Japanese & German Enforcer Corporation (J&GEC)... which, I headed, with the state's permission. It is our duty then to keep the Experiments' existence hidden as well as to recapture, compensate, and (when possible) rehabilitate these 'Experiments'."
"Unfortunately... funding for the J&GEC dried up months ago with the G.E.C. and the J.E.C. focusing on other agendas and goals and the U.S. prioritizing the 'War on Terror' and the many controversies on that. Many of us have died in both competition for these so-called 'valuable weapons' from rival Foreign Enforcer Corporations as well as from the more volatile Experiments themselves."
"Now, there is only a handful of us left."
"...Three of the four of whom, you've met in this office."There was no attempt to cover up for his own past mistakes nor tell of how involved or potentially 'evil' Mr. Adam himself may have been in the past. He drew out the facts as plainly as he could with as little bias as he could manage---
---the Student Dean's eyes suddenly widened.* * * * * * * * * * * * * *"---You... You saw that, right? Right. Right? Get... G-Get the students off the campus, now!"** * * * * * * * * * * * * Abruptly, the Dean stood up, his eyes wide, sweat visibly forming on his face."Miss Byrne, I must request that you leave the premises immediately or hide under my desk. The campus is no longer safe as of this moment."Before he could give her any time to respond, he pulled out a microphone from within his desk, pushing a large red button on it.* * * * * * * * * * * * * "ATTENTION PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259. WE ARE HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. I REPEAT, PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259 IS HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. PLEASE ENTER THE NEAREST CLASSROOM POSSIBLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."* * * * * * * * * * * * * Roughly pulling at his desk, Mr. Adam pulled out a large, silver briefcase from the underside of his desk. Not even bothering to look up to explain anything to Miss Byrne, he abruptly opened it, revealing a large array of flash bangs, smoke grenades, stun grenades, as well as a 7-chambered Nagant. Without even breaking a beat, he began strapping all the grenades to himself, belting a holster to his waist and holstering the revolver. Quickly shooting a silent stare outside the room, Calvin opened the Dean's door with a *SLAM* while the young man looked back at the Dean with an alarmed look on his face---but also a professional look of a trained soldier, a whip in his right hand... and a small, heavy pouch in his left."Let's move." March of Power "Very well. I apologize in advance for the length,"
Jayr would remain silent yet still nod heavily towards the reply, she didn't quite know what he meant by that, length was generally something that wouldn't be referred to in that sense but all the same she would assume it was a translation difference. Then again it'd make sense seeing as how she'd never been out of the country before aside from a short stay in Ireland.
"Let us begin, then."
Like a Story teller he began his momentary tirade of the history of 259, now she was beginning to understand the spoke about length. He seemingly had been here for quite some time or at the very least had second hand knowledge of the past. One with such knowledge was indeed powerful. Jayr would tense up in her seat slightly acknowledging the man's understanding. He'd expressed more power than anything she'd seen from other teachers of her past. To say the least Mr. Durand nor Valquette expressed such displays of power even restraining such.
Jayr would sit back quietly biting at her lower labrum edging the focus of her lips outwards in a pursed fashion fidgeting slightly in her seat as the story continued on. It wasn't that he was a bad story teller, it was just the meat and beans, no artsy flavoring to it which was starting to loose her interest. After all how much would she be entitled to retain being just in High School.
"I believe only 'The Dragons' loosely still exists."
The loose fidget in her seat as she remembered the emerald eyes that one night. Nova. He'd been a Dragon, the one that'd named her, but then again no one else knew least of all not here. She didn't even know her purpose, nor the purpose of the group itself. It raked at her skull trying to get a choke hold on it, frustration, irritation.
Jayr would be noticeably more comfortable reverting into a thoughtful sense, her legs crossed in the seat with a hand up at her cheek, her index finger poking at her teeth with a small click clack being heard.
"I myself was a leading officer of the Japanese Enforcer Corporation, prior to the destruction of the Correctional Facility at that time."
So that much she was right, he did have a significant amount of power. she didn't know about these Enforcers beforehand but with the slight summery before hand she could assume that this was an organization that was highly organized not to mention powerful, capable of seizing up mat the very least a small number of so called "powerful" students. Jayr would return to biting her lip, her chest lowering towards her waist as hands would engulf her chin and thoughtful focused eyes would focus more intently upon the dean.
"Now, there is only a handful of us left."
"...Three of the four of whom, you've met in this office."
Was that an invitation?
Jayr flinched slightly, his motives sounded so cold, there was no root or reason to them other than cause, effect, cause and effect. Reasons were her motivation not to mention every other human being's. To fully understand his, she had to understand him. a deep breath as her body eased back up from the child-like mannerism of story-time to adult version of a business woman.
"Thank You, for understanding I mean." Jayr would reciprocate an even tone understanding that opening up was difficult to say the least but subliminally she suspected that there was much more to unravel.
Then...
A moment of shock, the first true emotion she'd seen on the man's face, certainly one she hadn't been expecting. Shock in itself was something not inclined for a man with such powerful connections but to say the least she felt a tad bit frightened by this extent.
"Miss Byrne, I must request that you leave the premises immediately or hide under my desk. The campus is no longer safe as of this moment."
"but...?" Jayr would start being cut short as Mr. Adam grabbed up a microphone and began his transition to the school, a sudden gulp rising in her throat as the uncertain moment of fear rised in her chest.
"ATTENTION PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259. WE ARE HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. I REPEAT, PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259 IS HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. PLEASE ENTER THE NEAREST CLASSROOM POSSIBLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."
Her eyes would follow him almost in the same shock he'd expressed only moments before. The unraveling of a weaponized kit before her eyes, certainly no joking manner. She'd breath, a pitch in her chest every moment as the beats of her heart raced with anxiety driven momentum. She remembered back to what he'd just said, to hide under his desk. To hide from the fear, to give in, run away. All things that she'd done before, things her mother had done. She wasn't going to be like that, a scared woman on the strings of someone else's agenda.
"Let's move."
Jayr would step up immediately, the fear jostling in her breast, heart thumping as the cool feeling of adrenaline raced into her head numbing the pain as her heart raced to break loose from her rib cage. Her hand clasping around his bicep to stop him short.
"I'm coming with you." Jayr would state defiantly though shaky to say the least no doubt with the same fear she clasp tightly towards stepping out the door with a release of his arm and an obedient following at his side at even pace. Her eyes casually dropping towards his arsenal. Where they taking out an Elephant?

Spike was on the roof of Building three, having recovered alot more than normal. He felt good actually. He had won a big victory in the war for pillarship. He was recruiting well, Jaus and Gilgamesh, Spike was also looking to have Nova join so he could put her under protection. For now she seemed safe being naive and invisible, she mite not get caught up in some battle.
Yet that wasn't the point the point was the Student Dean was asking for a lock down. Spike looked around the group of guys chillin on the roof. They where all part of his army.
"Spread the word. Trouble's out. Our job for today is to help the Dean and anyone affiliated."
"Common Spike. We have bigger problems."
"This order comes from higher authority than me."
Everyone was silent for a moment and then got serious. Spike looked off the edge of the roof and then turned back to everyone else.
"Alright everyone spread out, make sure everyone is safe and look for the problem thats causing the lock down. As soon as you find it tell everyone else and we will help squash it. I'm heading to the Dean's office."
And with that everyone dispersed. Fifty some odd students wearing leather gloves with a metal plate on the back with the word "STRIKE" on it. Spike himself took off down the stairs heading towards the Dean's office so he could see if he could get any information from the man himself. Unless he had forgotten the agreement he had with his father. A Sudeki never goes back on his word.

Gilgamesh was in the hall ways and looked around. Nothing seemed out of order, he pulled his equipment, with his Arch sword and put it behind his back under his coat and walked towards the Deans office as he made his way there he saw people run all around trying to check things.
Looks like it was spikes doing and Gil shook his head and started to move towards his target faster.
He pulled out his Iphone to get a blue print of all locked down doors in the school and it came up as Classified and Gilgamesh stopped at the Deans office as he saw Spike heading towards him.
He put his hands in his pocket.
"Hey, S.S." Spike Sudeki Gil meant. "I say we find out whats going on." He said with a smile and would back out of the way of his boss and with a sarcastic tone would say:
"After you."

The air rushing through his nasal passages created a slight whistle. Walking slowly down the hallways of this old but familiar place, Dots felt the floor creak beneath his weighted boots, he felt the hinges in his claws gauntlets stiffen with rust, and he felt the weight from the coat he wore, made of flesh of the dead.
He did not want to admit it but he had missed this place, he had missed those who were like him…. Those who were different... but he was not here to rejoice in Sweet memories of torture, he was here to hunt…. Here to hunt those who deserve true torment, first in life by he himself….. then once he was through….. the Man in the Fire would perpetually teach the lessons of pain.
He stopped walking as his acute hearing picked up on a faint tone coming from through the wall and after a millisecond of delay he heard the same voice echo over the loud speakers…..
Hum…. To Dots this sounded like a chance to find those unholy who are worthy of the lessons of pain….. Slowly Raising his clawed hand he used fingers to carve out a etching of a 7 foot cross…… as he completed his task, he kneeled before it. pulling out the metal cross from below the shoulder guard he wore on his left shoulder, he held it to the middle of the image and closed his eyes….
“O’holy Lord, I be here before you as a Servant, holding in my heart the truth…”
Breathing in gently, his lungs expanding within his chest, acting as if they dare try to escape…. “I shall sail the unjust down the river Styx, to meet in the land consumed in flame”
His body began to shudder in excitement, he felt the oh so familiar rush return to his veins, he mouth began to water, and his senses sharpened.
“O’ Holy god hear my Vow for I Be a servant of Truth” “I carry the weight of a thousand deaths upon my shoulders yet I still stand” “I have known the Glory of blood, and the flavor of preys fear” “I fear not death, for I have already walked through hell and shook hands with the Man in The Fire proving myself the man he could not defeat”
Tracing his fingers over the scar on his chest in the shape of a cross, the skin of his left arm shifted from a pale white to a pure shade of black emblazoned by small white Dots running from his fingers up to his shoulder……
“This Be for I Am Dots…. Dots Grand, born of the four seal my claws shall draw forth thy river, like reapers of old, and gods of death, I see the sins of man and I am Retribution…. Amen”
With his final exhale of breath he slammed the Cross in his hand into the wall destroying the section he had carved out…. As the rubble crashed to the ground he stood, and the blood thirsty sick laugh invaded his tongue as he spoke….
“Well hell’o thy dear hum’ns, I smell Fear…. Who…… causes such sorrow”
Extending his shaking hand as if in an offer of peace he felt there people were not worthy of such torment as that of the Man in the Fire.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time Theme Song: Fear by Susumu Hirasawa "I'm coming with you."Still in a whirlwind of duty, the Dean barely noticed as Miss Byrne attempted to grab him, just as ready to callously shake Miss Byrne off, as a subconscious action, his eyes off towards the door. Of course, it was immediately upon doing so that he remembered the estimated statistics Miss Byrne's database profile had estimated on... as well as the feeling of a grip that was almost four times stronger then he was. Perhaps she only meant to stop him for a second, but the Dean's movement was completely stopped. Calvin's look of shock was instantly transitioning to that of an annoyed, angry scowl, his fingers loosening on the bag---"Go," Mr. Adam would say, shooting a huge palm to Calvin from a distance, before sharpening it to a point of his finger to the door. Calvin was startled, but shook his head, gritting his teeth. His eyes were shadowed with the wrinkles under his eyes as he looked down in a defeated mannerism, his hands clenched into fists at his sides."Hurry up. I will not let Freddo die, 'just because a girl is holding you up." *"Keep me posted." *Solemnly, the Dean simply nodded at his compatriot, potentially similar thoughts in his mind. This was a good ten seconds of passing. Lowering his hand and pocketing it, he turned towards Jayr with a quickened look of forced calm, his face stern and eyes slits. Behind him, there was a opening slam of a door followed by frenzied footsteps as Calvin silently jetted off.
Jayr's hand would feel a run of energy shoot through it---* * * * * * * * * * * * * * Calvin would burst out the door, whip still coiled in his right hand and a heavy bag in his left. His right hand was suddenly brought up as his eyes widened at the site of the two people in front of him, before stopping, glaring at the two of them, and just as abruptly headed straight on down the hallway without a word. Even as he did so, he saw (or rather... smelled, it was hard to tell as he was running) a third one walking past him, towards the Dean's office.
In his thoughts, the Dean had already warned the students... if the faculty and students chose to comply or no was up to them.
Time was crucial.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * ---From the exact angle of the Dean's physical perspective, Jayr was looking at herself through the Dean's eyes. *"I have informed you of 259's past because you are a leader of the gradual influx of people from Public High School #774 that we have been receiving who took initiative. I will not allow you to die here... nor do I have the time to babysit."*...Jayr was hearing this... inside of her head. Silently, Mr. Adam looked through her eyes, to see how she was viewing him... *"I can keep watch on what you see like this, but you must be willing to allow me to keep this connection during the duration, or I will not be able to watch over you.*With great pains for haste, the Dean politely took his other hand and put it on top of hers, while looking at the door. If Jayr would allow him, he'd remove her hand from bicep in a gentle but slightly chastising mannerism.
Of course, that's when the wall burst open in the shape of a cross and Dots walked in.“Well hell’o thy dear hum’ns, I smell Fear…. Who…… causes such sorrow” There was a twisting moment in Mr. Adam's stomach---not because of the stench (which was horribly foul in itself to the point of tears), but because he instantly recognized the person standing in front of him... and the state he was in. Provided that Jayr had let go of him, Mr. Adam would walk over to the man before taking up the handshake with a firm grip---a similar passing of energy flowing through Dots' hands, if he had permitted it."Your old foes and compatriots are here. You have already been involved, I have no right to stop you."Releasing Dots hand from the handshake, he'd briefly walk rather nonchalantly through the cross hole in the wall before slowly picking up in speed, completely passing up the two at the door...
Two minutes.
Two minutes of life or death.* * * * * * * * * * * * * Calvin kicked open the door just in time to---
*FWOOSH*
*CRASH*
In shock, Calvin could only begin to start to turn his head to his left. His mouth was slack and his eyes were wide. Freddo's body was stuck in the crater he had made on the wall for a few seconds... not moving. Slowly, he slumped down, while a medieval-looking fellow with a huge, electtrified sword walked over. With his free hand, he dragged Freddo from the ground and heaved him roughly over his left shoulder. Gawking, Calvin made a rush."OH NO YOU DO---" *SMASH*
The impact of the shield on the ground blew Calvin back, making perform a total backwards flip without even touching the ground before slamming onto his face into a crumple. With a bit of work, the huge Tower Shield was hefted away from the crater it made onto the ground, while the foreboding opponent stood his ground, equally clad.
With great crunches in the concrete, his compatriot slowly began to walk off the premises... Freddo on his shoulder. Meanwhile... the eight-foot tall beast of total iron stood, his electrified spear held taut in his right hand, glowing an ominous blue...* * * * * * * * * * * * * Mr. Adam (provided he had got here unhindered), hurriedly opened up the door, as he saw Calvin from a distance, in the courtyard. Taking a step---

Serving the Crown Jayr didn't hesitate, enough of her action had been employed in stopping Mr. Adam in his tracks and that much had been said, though nerves still boiled beneath her skin. Cataclysmic fear in fact that despite all her strength she'd only seen his focus damper towards the boy Calvin who'd admitted her here.
"Go,"
The boy was shaken, something was going on between these two that she could not compare to understand. It left her albeit shaken, the bent knees wobbling if but for an instant as she considered dropping here, stopping with the unwavering sense of guilt that'd follow should she not proceed.
"Hurry up. I will not let Freddo die, 'just because a girl is holding you up."
Nothing but a nod from the dean as Jayr's eyes leveled towards the boy and squinted threateningly. She wasn't going to hold him up, she was going to go with him, aid a person she neither knew nor felt obligated to serve. All the while the connection was itself similar to that of one she could respect.
Thats when of course, things changed.
A racing scorch up her body and the development of new understanding, she could have supposed the transition would be pleasurable but quite conversely it was just different. Feelings of testosterone would lunge their way into her head and a new way of thinking radically imposed as she saw herself through new eyes.
*"I have informed you of 259's past because you are a leader of the gradual influx of people from Public High School #774 that we have been receiving who took initiative. I will not allow you to die here... nor do I have the time to babysit."*
Strange.
But words struck harder than the visualization as she timed out, focusing more intently to visualize him rather than the other way about.
*"I can keep watch on what you see like this, but you must be willing to allow me to keep this connection during the duration, or I will not be able to watch over you.*
Jayr would cringe and look down as he moved to a comforting position, as she'd said she could feel a bond that was more than simply the mind, almost like family in a sense.
*"I don't plan on dying, if anything I can watch your back."*
The voice within her mind would be as defiant as ever as she so boldly stepped forward.
Focus....
It was hard, the ideal of two entities, it was something radical and yet in a way very imposing that gave her a feeling of power and control over everything.
*Crash!*
Her Cerulean scoped eyes hurtling quickly towards the shattered wall observing this both from her eyes as well as the Deans coming with certainly two alternate perspectives. One of understanding while the other simply put, disgust.
“Well hell’o thy dear hum’ns, I smell Fear…. Who…… causes such sorrow”
Jayr watched as Mr. Adam crossed the boarder line, having no one restraining him it was easy for him to do so, despite the stench he'd shake the mad man's hand in all repulsion Jayr would fret with disgust turning her gaze down for a moment to breath into a cupped hand.
"Your old foes and compatriots are here. You have already been involved, I have no right to stop you."
Then taking the initiative, Dean Adam would take the time to make past the mad boy and slink through the hole in the wall. Through narrowed slits Jayr would stalk him taking to a speedy motion to run about Dots making clear she wanted out of his way. So long as she wasn't stopped the girl would take off after Adam with little regard to her own safety let alone anyone else in the hallway for that matter.
Boldness be my guide!
* * * * * * * * * * * * *
They'd come to a doorway overlooking the courtyard it would seem as Dean Adam stood only meters before Jayr proceeding through the open doorway. While still in mid-run Jayr was she was entirely conscious of her surroundings, not to mention tracking a guy who she still shared vision with made the pursuit far easier to take part in.
"---ADAM, NO!"
The sudden burst of light blinding Jayr's scope of mind as she considered it wasn't her but rather the Dean. Cursing under her breath Jayr bolted to full speed taking flight as she rushed into a full on tackle to take the dean to the floor narrowly avoiding the burst itself. If successful she'd have a mixture of emotions.
For one she was in slight shock of what'd nearly taken place. Death was always an imminent fear of most, for second she felt cocky and would show off such by smiling widely gloating that she'd saved him.
"Told you I'd have your back."
She'd say adamantly while rolling her shoulders and pressing off and up off of him considering the pinned situation in itself would be weird considering the vast age difference.

Unlike most others Lucan had been in class, the idle tick of the clocks bothering him just a tad bit more than his teacher's drolling voice this instant, but all were necessities to the grander scheme. At least thats what he kept telling himself. Tremayne had never actually specified his duty to school work, merely suggested that he should affiliate himself in the lifestyle of a teen his age. For most that'd seem like a benevolent task, presenting him the chance to be normal as things could have been. But to Lucan it seemed like a punishment, he was of duty now for some odd months. Something kept beating away at his insides suggesting that he'd done something wrong, perhaps Tremayne had been watching more closely on this mission than anticipated. "ATTENTION PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259. WE ARE HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. I REPEAT, PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259 IS HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. PLEASE ENTER THE NEAREST CLASSROOM POSSIBLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."The room went silent, Lucan could count the beaded sweat droplets cascade across the teacher's face as he hurried to dim the windows with the protective covering. 'Like that'd do anything...' Lucan found himself contradicting the teacher's instructions in his head, hyper analyzing the situation as things progressed. "Alright everyone, this is just a drill everybody get into the corner of the room so as to not be seen."'Moron, these are normal school hours so long as the assailant on campus isn't retarded, or has never been to school that won't work.'"I'm going to lock the door now, everybody quickly huddle under the tables if you can't fit in the corner."His beady eyes looking over towards Lucan as well as another abnormally large fellow. Something made Lucan snicker at that insinuating that the teacher would now have to explain himself for suggesting the kid was fat. 'Fool, this isn't an earthquake....'The panic in his eyes was unbefitting of the math teacher who probably had never suspected getting orchestrated into a class such as this. All Lucan knew was: "I need to go to the restroom."He'd say boldly, frame ascending from his cornered seat and sliding hands into his pockets with an absent minded care for the issue as he strode up to the door and gave the teacher a bored look. "But you can't we have a drill going on.""Exactly, a drill. Now you have two options, unlock the door so I can pee or explain to the other staff and students why a teen urinated on your floor and then proceeded in beating your face in for the public embarrassment."All said with a smile as Lucan remained unmoving, the hesitant teacher fiddling his key chain for the lock to the room. With the sudden click Lucan would give a slow nod before proceeding out down the hall with little less of an actual care. His only interest was understanding, here and now. ***** The halls seemed like a never ending maze to him, simple yes, but they were so evenly divided that in its simplicity it was confusing. Pulling at the insides of his pockets he'd find no easy way about this but he'd pick up his pace here and there looking like a teacher in the middle of a sprint and trying to reserve his composure. The ridiculous march between making and breaking the rules. That was until he'd crossed the courtyard. A sharp noise just ahead of him and around the corner, caution thrown to the wind as Lucan would freeze mid-step. Hands still in his pockets, the bored expression remained as he'd arch his head to the side angling his vision out the window towards the large tower knight residing just outside, the courtyard littered with bodies already. "What is this 'medieval times'?"

Vespyr rested in the shadow cast by an open door facing the courtyard; one that led into one of 259’s many hallways, as she had observed on her brief trip through those many hallways, as she learned what each hallway was for, and why to go there, and why not to go there, and so on… it was all very important stuff to know, since she would soon be attending the school and having to walk through those countless hallways… As much as she hated the thought, she did agree that a brief tour of the school would be advantageous. For knowing where her classes would be located, not so much—the girl couldn’t help but think of the hallways in terms of escape routes, secret passages through air vents, which storage closet would be the best hiding place, etc. With each step she took through the hallways, she added quick, sketchy lines to the map she was building inside her head. Hopefully, it would all prove useful sooner or later. If not, then being here would be a f***ing waste of time.
As are most things…
“ATTENTION PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259. WE ARE HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. I REPEAT, PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL #259 IS HAVING A CAMPUS-WIDE LOCK-DOWN. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. PLEASE ENTER THE NEAREST CLASSROOM POSSIBLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.”
The girl stepped away from the wall, her arms crossed, and stood in the doorway. Her mouth hung slightly ajar as if she were about to speak, but then—
*CRASH*
Vespyr’s eyes darted to the source of the commotion—and immediately lost whatever emotion that had glinted in them beforehand, leaving her with a rather blank expression. There was… a giant f***ing knight… tearing s*** up… students running… and some asshole pulling a cliché one-liner as if this were being filmed. For a moment, Vespyr glared at the kid, her brow slightly furrowed in confusion, considering that… maybe, possibly, they were filming a scene for something, or…?
Turning back to the hallway and the German within it, she expressed her confusion.
“Uhm…?”
