"Let's Get This Party Started."
The maniac shut the window, and turned on the weapons strapped to every entrance and exit. The only way out was either through the sewers, or off the roof. If they tried to open the windows, or the doors to the outside, they'd find that the sun wasn't the only thing that was hot in Long Beach.
All it took was the push of a button to arm all the trip-fire bombs around the school. Their green lights then began blinking red, and he cackled as he left the room and closed the door, walking down the hall of the second floor. On the remote, he pressed another key that interrupted the Homecoming pep-rally downstairs. A voice scrambled message the told the teenagers that they were now hostages, and that they were all going to play a game.
"You're all going to play a game with me, all of you. If you leave the building, you'll die, you don't need to contact the police, as they already have been contacted for my demands. You all have three hours to find and dismantle the high yield explosive in the building.. you'll recognize it. Now.. one more thing.. I've let loose some minions of mine throughout the building. On this most holiest of days on the calendar, you'll definately recognize them when you see them. Trick or treat."
In the halls, lurked creatures. Men that have reverted into their innermost drives. Their Ids, all under his control. A sort of hive mind. They brimmed, and breathed at the same time. All at once. They knew when one moved, and they knew why he moved. This was going to be a challenge. They looked like regular people, their flesh covered in ash and soot from the numerous fires they've helped Pyros set.

In the gymnasium everyone seemed to be enjoying the ruckus and cheering of the pep-rally, getting all pumped up for homecoming. Saint sat toward one of the exits, trying to keep to himself as he usually did, and just observed with judgment-free eyes the whole event. He found it educational in many ways, observation was the oldest form of research and science. Simply watch something and note its movements and mannerisms. One can learn a great deal about something by observing it. Unfortunately the rabblerousing was going to be cut short as a message cut in.
On this most holiest of days on the calendar, you'll definitely recognize them when you see them. Trick or treat."
A sigh escaped the now dejected pillar, why did these things always seem to happened to this school and not others? Though in that regard he was glad, he would not wish this on any other school. After having disappeared so many times when this school and its students were under attack, Saint was going to redeem himself despite the overwhelming fact that he was still a shell of his former self. He had to try. Everyone was breaking into a panic about what to do, teachers were trying to maintain order and as much as he wished to helped Saint had other things to do. He began to think over what was said in the message, they would recognize the explosive when they saw… Halloween as a holy day? If that was true than the bomb could be anything… a witch, a scarecrow, a black cat, a ghost… a jack-o-lantern? Using high-yield explosive meant he did not necessarily need a large amount so that would make sense. It was small, easy to transport, and would not raise to much suspicion along with being relatively unnoticed. Nevertheless he would have to keep his eyes open during the search.
Deciding to try his best to calm everyone, Saint strode calmly out to center court and grabbed the microphone that was being used early in the pep rally. He smiled reassuringly to everyone and began to speak with a soothing voice that was parallel to the kind a mother would use on a crying infant.
“Everyone try to remain calm. We have three hours and panicking now will do us no good. If you wish to remain safe, I suggest you stay here and together with your friends. I will do everything I can to find this bomb and dismantle it, if you wish to help… I will gladly accept. Should you find anything out of the ordinary when searching, please come and find me. This will be dangerous, so I urge many of you to stay here for your own good. Now… those of you who wish to help… step forward.”

Zanathos was helping himself to some fruit punch when the anonymous message from the intercom sounded:
"You're all going to play a game with me, all of you. If you leave the building, you'll die, you don't need to contact the police, as they already have been contacted for my demands. You all have three hours to find and dismantle the high yield explosive in the building.. you'll recognize it. Now.. one more thing.. I've let loose some minions of mine throughout the building. On this most holiest of days on the calendar, you'll definately recognize them when you see them. Trick or treat."
Happily looking forward to something new, Zan presumed this was all part of the pep-rally and eagerly looked around to see if eveyrone else was thinking the same thing. Unfortunately, the more faces Zan spotted, the less joyful the situation appeared to be. Staring around the room, Zan spotted the guy in the white coat up on the stage giving a reassuring announcement. "What a guy-," Zan mumbled to himself as he saw the student speak with finesse. Suddenly, Zan was aware of the chaos which was breaking loose all over the place! Students and teachers running around as Saint's barely audible voice tried to reach all corners of the room to maintain order. Hearing the words "-help" and "-step forward", Zan pushed his way through the massive crowd of unruly school members, and reached the center court. "Hey!- ,"Zan shouted to Saint."Do you mind if I help out somehow Saint? I believe we've met before."

Roy needed a ciggarette about now. He let out a low laugh. Minions?
"I thought I was nuts. Hey, you two! Any clue how the fuck we're gonna get out of this alive?"
He looked over at a student next to him, and asked her a question.
"You got a light and a smoke, miss?"
She handed him both, and he pocketed them, assuring he'd give them back to her later. He walked over to the two guys that were talking, one apparently knew what he was doing.
"You actually know how to disarm a bomb, cheif? I think you might need my help for that. I've done it once or twice, not too hard."
He was supressing his accent, so he would be easier to understand. He was wearing a black t-shirt, and blue jeans, his short red hair falling just above his eyes. He wore colored contacts, changing the gray to a reddish color. He had a hockey stick cocked over his left shoulder.
"Let's kick some ass, find this fucktard, and take'm out. Let's beat the asshole in his little game, then. You guys can cal me Raven, by the way."

A grin of relief came over Saint when Zan and another student came forward, at least he would not have to do this alone while others did as they pleased. He was, however, disappointed that his attempt to calm the crowd had not worked as well as he had hoped. Many students still seemed to be in a panic, though a more controlled one… if that was at all possible. He nodded to the two politely as he began to reinvent his plan. It was good that the one called Raven had experience with bombs because Saint did not, his original plan was that upon finding it he would have everyone move to the farthest point away from it that they could. If he could somehow move it then he would remove it from the school, if not he planned to try and disarm it while everyone else was on the other side of the building. Now he would not have to due so.
“Very well, I thank you both sincerely. Now we have to search the school, together… we may cover less ground this way but it will be easier for us to overcome these henchmen if we are working together and that will save us time in the long run. I believe we are looking for a jack-o-lantern of some kind but I cannot be sure… we have to keep our eyes open for anything usual. Once we find it, Zan, you will come back here and have everyone still here move as far from the bomb’s location as possible… just in case the worst should happen. Myself and Raven will try to disarm it.”
The pillar looked at the other two students to see if they had any other ideas or input that could be useful. Hopefully others would take up the call and join in the search even after these three had set out. Inwardly Saint was anxious more because of who was involved and not what… it would not be too long until someone did something stupid and things would become even graver. To add to that, even in his minimal knowledge, he knew that bombs could take time to disarm depending on the design. The quicker they found it, the more time they would have to disable it.

"Mhm!" Zan nodded in agreement as he listened to Saint's plan- it was a dangerous one, yet under the current circumstances it was all they could do, unless someone else decided to help out. Looking toward Raven he greeted the other helper with much happiness. "Yes!!!! Another helper! This just keeps getting better and better!," Zan shouted as he looked around the room. He noticed the kids were still in a state of turmoil and nothing had changed. Saint looked at them with some sort of a questioning look as to whether they might have suggestions. As he thought about this he thought back to the whole issue on bombs. Bombs......flowers. "Hmmm...the problem is if everyone stays in here, and the minions or the guy comes in then we'll have a problem on our hands. No one can come in or out of the school presumably so its an impending risk."

Trapped like rats..
Impressive..
Especially for something so simple..
A bomb threat..
Creatures everywhere.
And three young males planning to stop things as best they could.
Mars thought about it as he stood in the gym..
This...This is insane...
I like it..
Mars quickly approached the 3 males considering thier options to get out of the building..alive..
"Excuse me.."
He was donning his mask..He never went anywhere without it.
"May I be of any assistance?...I'm pretty good with my hands...I heard you want to get out of here.."
He faced his question to the supposed "leader of the group" Saint.

"Very true, but I doubt the students will let themselves get hurt. This IS 259, after all. I know how the students at 552 would react, and these kids seem a lot tougher."
He let out a low laugh.
"Y'know, this bastard is screwing with my plans. I was about to leave, and go sulk over the fact that it's my birthday today......but this is more fun. I'll have to thank him with a boot to the face."
Roy smiled. He was wearing his lucky boots. Brown leather, steel toed work boots. They were going to leave a mark on this asshole's face. his smile was the smile of one who had experience in such things. Of grim determinaation. He had a bottle of whisky waiting at home, and by god he was draining it TONIGHT.
"Heh......This should be easy enough. Where would someone plant a bomb to take out the school? Think of key structural locations."
Roy was also now sufficiently stressed enough to smoke that ciggarette. He pulled it out, lit it, and took a long drag. He eyed the newcomer, and thought that any help was welcome. Within a few minutes, he finished his monthly smoke, and tossed the butt in the garbage.
"Oy....."

Keith was sitting in the main office. He was waiting to talk to the Dean to discuss some further details of their arrangement. And now this had happened... Some jackass decided to plant explosives through the school building windows and doors. It looked as if nobody could get in or out through the door or through the windows.
He didn't really care about the campus. However, Keith needed the school intact. If it wasn't, Keith could kiss the agreement with the Dean goodbye. Keith didn't want that to happen at all.
The graduate took a deep sigh.
"Looks like this is going to be an interesting day..."
Keith adjusted the black shades over his eyes and looked at his gloves of Heaven and Hell. His left glove was glowing blue and the right glove was glowing red.
Looks like I'm going to have to find this bomber...
Keith could by all means escape. However, due to what could possibly at stake, he couldn't simply just leave. It looks as if Keith was going to have a long day.
He would have three hours to do what needed to be done. Taking a deep sigh, Keith rose up from his seat. It would look as if the meeting would be postponed for another day. Quickly, Keith would leave the main office and find himself on the first floor hallway.
What an exciting day this would be.

Saint listened to the input of the others, believing that every bit of input would be invaluable. Of course he had noticed that he seemed to have become the leader and laughed at the fact. As far as he knew none of them were aware that he was the pillar of this school, since the other two had done what he did so often and left to deal with there own business. There was no blame in that thought only fact. Perhaps they did know via the grapevine that was school chatter and that lead to their willingness to assist him, though he hoped not. Taking in everything, Saint thought for a moment.
“True enough the students here are tough but they can be rash… that is my fear. As for key structural points… I have no knowledge of this buildings construction, and to look it up would waste time. My best guess would be that the four of us split into pairs and search this bottom floor first and work our way up. If he used enough of whatever explosive, this building could be brought down from pretty much anywhere I would surmise… sorry about your birthday.”
The young man paused for a second to let that bit sink in and see if anything else was to be added or asked. Their next move would be moving into groups to search and considering there were henchmen roving about he believed that himself and Zan would have to be separated, they were both on the non-violent side. Together they would be ineffective in a fight, and that would inhibit the chances of locating the device.

Zan idly stood around for the time being as he checked out the commotion of the students. He spotted one student starting to walk toward the door, shivering and trembling in panic, as the other students and teachers were too occupied to notice, or to care. "Hey!! You!!,"Zan shouted to the kid, as he started to freak out. Running toward the student, Zan saw the kid try to open the door, as a malicious looking figure covered in soot walked by the door. Blinking a few times, he saw the kid back away from the door, and faint. "Darn..., the hallway outside seems to be guarded by that thing...," he muttered as the ash covered figure moved away from the door and down the hallway, almost as if it were beckoning him to follow.

The creature heard the door click, and went buck wild, scrambling towards it. It got to the door, and tried to pry it open with it's hands before it closed. Blood dripped down the thing's face and body onto the floor, ash covered it's skin. Tattered rags were it's only means of clothing. It managed to get an arm in, and started swiping at whoever was on the other side of the door while trying to open the door with it's other arm.
"Kakakaulalalalala! Karri! Karrila!"
It was like the thing was calling for help. The unintelligible noise was more like an additional location supplement to the hive mind. So that creatures near him would be able to pick out the noise and find him much more quickly. Only time would tell.

After the announcement, about the 'game' the school seemed to go into panic. There were a whole bunch of kids running around trying to find a way out. There were even kids that were trying to save everyone. Dylan on the other hand was still sitting on the bleachers thinking to himself.
"Someone just had to find a way to do it. They just had to ruin Halloween for me. What's worse is the guy is making me feel like I'm in the next Saw movie with all his 'play a game' crap."
Despite his annoyance with the situation Dylan had to make a decision. Would he just worry about saving his own life, or would he try and be a hero and stop the madman altogether. Weighting his odds he favored escape. Finally standing up Dylan walked over the door that the thing was trying to get into. No one dared to get close to the arm failing around trying to hit anything it could. After watching it for a bit Dylan finally spoke up.
“So does anyone have a plan to get past this thing?”

Zan backed away a bit from the thing, as his head started throbbing. The urge to just get out of here, to escape, to knock a few heads in, was getting to him. Shaking his head slightly, he looked up with a glance of intense hate at the creature- which was one of the main reasons they were trapped in here. "This is getting on my nerves...,"he muttered as he took a deep breath. His fists clenched as he tried his best to push his negative side back into himself. Looking around, he felt quite paranoid as if someone was out to get him. He started to show signs of uneasiness.

Another jolt was panic caught the crowd when the creature started to try to get into the gymnasium. This was not what Saint had hoped for, this was supposed to be a safe place during this whole ordeal. With a sigh the pillar strode over toward the very door, motioning ever so slightly with his head for the others to follow. If they were going to search for the device they would need to get past this thing anyway and all help would be needed. Stopping his approach beside the student who asked if anyone had a plan, Saint smiled as he had one.
“Just let him in.”
Shocking! Well… not really.
“We have to get out of here anyway if we are going to find the bomb. Right now we have an advantage in numbers, the longer we wait the more likely his screeching is going to attract more to us. Perhaps we could even be so noble as to lead any others away from the rest of the students.”
Finishing with a slightly sarcastic smile and shrug as Saint did not figure the one who asked the question as the ‘noble’ type. With a few more strides the young man came up to the door, keeping himself clear of the creature’s swipes, as he prepared to open it. Once everyone seemed ready to take this thing head on, the pillar would give it the slim pleasure of coming through.
