I don't get them.
Other jobs systems on other boards were more straight forward.
Here, it looks like there's a whole big todo involved with starting a job, and there probably really isn't... Help? ._.

That would be my area I suppose >_> <_<
So pretty much we decided to go a separate way from 552's system of instant gratification and create the system to be more of a capitalist route. Essentially there is chance of the managers loosing money where if you're working you don't have much to loose but your chance of getting money is lower depending upon the wages the manager sets for you.
Essentially how it works out is, a manager will set up a company in the jobs page, following that he will buy a recipe and materials so you will need start up funds before you get any in return. Also you won't be having certain randoms join your job like a merc system instead you'll need to gather people IC thusly giving you a storyline purpose.
So in essence you buy materials, followed by hiring workers, starting up a thread, once your materials are built you return to the item shop and sell the completed recipe.

._. Bloody hell.
So the entire point of the job from the creators position is building an Item, and selling it?

yes they are, but once they have the finished material they have rights to keep that item for themselves or sell it back to the item store

and how often do the items churn out? every two weeks?
also, does the job that is rped have to produce the chosen item? for example: a job as a bounty hunter wouldn't physically produce anything.
would that still produce an item?

The wait limit after one job is completed and the next one can be started is 1 month. As of yet I've kept the job system based upon labor industries and not services, have noted that services are also under that field and will be working on building a similar system to associate with that as well.

I see. How long do the jobs run? 2 weeks and then the 1 month wait? the month and then the wait? Or do you mean to say that it runs every month like other job systems and just the worker pay is biweekly?

A job can be started once a month, it runs until the manager deems it's terms are over in which case I'll jump in and deduct expenses from the manager's account to his workers. the date is logged in from when the job's term ended from that point onward a new job thread requires a 1 month wait till they can start up again.
