#2 on Vetis current hit list was a card throwing punk. He thought he would feel satisfaction by stabbing him but he was mistaken. No because of his innocent throwing cards off of the roof Vetis had to deal with a perverted old Cook and Gods very own practical joke. The aggravation that had caused him helped make his current path clear. He would have to pick them all off one at a time.
He left an invite to the punk and it read as follows.
During lunch, school basement, Room A, one on one. Punch and Pie...
He had heard somewhere that more people were likely to show up if punch and pie were being served. He had spent most of his day neglecting class to set up a nice private little fighting room for them. Using mats from the gym he placed them against the walls and across the floor. Granted this would make it harder to incur damage using the walls and floor but it also would make it less likely for sounds to get out.
Vetis was dressed in a white t shirt and some black swoosh pants. His sneakers were gray. On his hands were his gloves, used so long they were almost a calling card of his. In each of his four packets were a deck of playing cards. Aside from the light in the room there was no other things sticking out. No windows, no pipes. The light switch was actually on the outside of the room. The door was made of a pretty solid thick wood and had a single metal door knob on each side.
And now a waiting game.

So someone was calling Kiyoshi out for a fight, a small surprise given that he felt he hadn't really made that much of an impression yet but whatever. He discarded all his important belongings into his locker before heading off to the mentioned meeting place, dropping the note as he left. Odd that it was going to be a secluded place, most students seemed to prefer a public display... meaning he was going to fight someone really twisted. Not an odd occurrence in his years in the current school system but Kiyoshi had to wondered why his luck was so damn bad.
It wasn't a very long journey to the arranged meeting place. Upon arrival Kiyoshi opened the door and left it so just in case. If it was some dude with candles all around... he was out. If it was someone wearing someone else's skin like a suit... out. However it was just the dude from the other day on the roof, which was confusing since it was the behemoth and old guy that had hassled him, not Kiyoshi. Of course, that was assuming the challenge had a reason behind it, which in this place was not usually how most fights started. They were just spur of the moment battles without rhyme or reason. No evidence to lead one to expect anything else.
"So... what you want?"
Kiyoshi was pretty sure of the answer and a more meaningful question might have been about who the guy was but that would require a care to know. Frankly, the smaller Japanese student saw no reason to ask... chances were they weren't going to be friends. Regardless, he stood there exuding an air of confidence with his head tilted slightly to the left. He wore a T-shirt that had a white base with floral designs that made it look like it was from Hawaii and a pair of gray torn-up jeans with his boots. Relatively docile your his usual stuff.

Vetis looked at the student. Given everything that had gone down it was a fair question. So Vetis would show him. He casually reached into his pocket and picked out a deck of cards. One at a time he would flick the cards at the student to see if he could guess why he was here. That or at least annoy him in the same fashion as he had been annoyed.

For a long moment Kiyoshi simply stood there and blinked with an almost vacant look on his face. Oh he knew what the guy was trying to point out but really couldn't believe it. He was being challenged because he flicked a few cards off of a roof and... they floated down into this guy's vicinity. Kiyoshi stared at the guy with a raised eyebrow that showed his confusement as to whether or not he was right with this assumption.
"Are you serious?... The card thing?"
While awaiting a response Kiyoshi shook his head lightly in disbelief. So many fights for no reason at all other than the cliche 'because they could/wanted to' and here was one with a reason... that made less sense then that. Regardless, the die had been cast and Kiyoshi wasn't the type to run from a fight whatever the circumstances or odd, even putting himself in more difficult positions when he could., so he wasn't going anywhere. He would shrug lightly with a nod to his opponent-to-be as a small courtesy as he saw no bad blood between them despite what the other guy might think.
"Whatever... let's do this."

Vetis smiled at the boy. It was a nice attitude and it earned him a bit of pity or was it respect. He wasnt sure just yet but he did take off his spiked gloves and place them in his pockets. He wouldnt go full force, given this guys lack of cockiness and considering he also didnt have his spork to shank him with today he would only fight as hard as this guy.
Vetis got into his stance and edged over to his opponent. He would jab him with his right hand. Given a hit and no counter he would follow with another jab, then a left hook and finish with a right leg kick to the mans inner right leg. Every time he threw his fist the other would come back quickly to guard his face. He was glad he had chose this venue and padded it out. Given the gentlemens lack of a jump in yesterday he did not deserve to be brutalized but a nice fight never hurt no one, cept when it did.

Kiyoshi responded with a ready stance as the larger male approached in preparation for an attack. He had seen what the guy could do to a point when the teacher had started the short scrap on the roof of the school the previous day and so he was aware it would be an uphill fight. That was until he saw the attacks coming toward him, they were about his level or maybe slightly above but this guy was capable of so much more. It was odd that he would set all this up only to take it easy on Kiyoshi, so either something had changed in the few brief moments or it was a cat and mouse thing. But back to dealing with the actual attacks.
The Japanese Junior raised his arms to block the first and second jabs, noting the raised guard as the attacks were launched. The reason for no-counter was the curiosity of the holding back. Either way, Kiyoshi watched as the hook started to come in and... dropped his guard letting the fist cold clocked him right across the face. The force was considerable despite the lessened effort and caused Kiyoshi to stumbled backward from the blow, his head tilted to the side from the initial force and kept there for effect as his eyes trailed back to the older male once he regained his balance.
"I saw part of what you can do. I don't know if you are playing a game, taking some pity, or what... but if its pity, I don't want it... if its a game or some show of respect... show that respect by giving me your all."
No ill will was meant by the statement. Truth be told any fighter in this system worth their weight had some sense of pride. In this case, and overall, with Kiyoshi it was that he did not want to be treated like a child or some frail being. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger... it didn't matter if it was this guy, Auroth, Jyo, or God himself... Kiyoshi wanted to face them at full strength and be allowed to see where he stood in the scheme of things. That was all he was asking. With that bit said, Kiyoshi slipped into a defensive boxer style stance with his left side slightly forward and his hands slightly open while awaiting another attack, hopefully this time at full strength.

As the part of his sentence ended with "but if its pity, I don't want it..." Vetis would instantly oblige. A foward push kick to the gut while he was in the midst of talking would certainly appease his request. As he would bring his right foot down from the push kick he would pus off of it and kick his opponent low and on the right hard with his left foot. Provided he hadnt yet caught his ground he would kick the boy again in the same spot, this time harder as he was now using his body torque and not his foward momentum. Given it was a low kick it would be very unlikely he would counter attack that leg and with his guard up he was pretty much ready.

It was difficult to react in the slightest when the guy burst forward for another attack midway through Kiyoshi's little speech. All he could do was bring his arms to cover himself while he tensed his body in preparation for the coming blow, which did some to lessen the effects but a shockwave of force still burst through him from his opponent's full out strength. Soon the guy wsa reacting said foot in what seemed to be a moment to prepare for another attack, having back himself into a corner by being so defensive to this moment Kiyoshi had to capitalize on the smallest of openings. Thus while Vetis gathered to launched his next attack, Kiyoshi did the same.
Once the low kick started coming, Kiyoshi lept to the air as one might naturally do if in possession of that natural ability. He got just enough height to clear the kick but this jump was not purely evasive. As he took flight the young Japanese male threw his left leg out while twisting his body to the right as he rose and later descended. The left foot would be swung across the face of his opponet, however guarded it might be. Granted this method left Kiyoshi without a leg to stand on in a literal sense and altogether in a very precarious position. Hopefully the aerial assault would have enough shock value to at least give him a moment to rebound once he landed.

An aerial kick to his face in this sort of enclosed space? He really had thought he had seen it all. Witht he blow landing across his face he would not be overly pleased. He had at least had his hand up to guard the front area of his face so no teeth would be knocked out. Unless this guy was severely holding back his fighting potential, which by his little speech he would figure that this were not the case, there was little he could do to hurt Vetis all though it could still be possible.
All though there was a number of things he could have done to really make this childs life more difficult he decided against it. He himself got back to proper form and shook off the hit like it hadnt happened. He would let the child get back into a form himself. Through his actions and his words he showed himself to be something more than a punk. He still had plenty of time to disappoint the silent beast but for the moment Vetis felt optimistic that he would not.

As he was returning to the ground, Kiyoshi felt the contact that his foot made and waited in prepartion as he fell that some retaliatory strike would be coming... but nothing did. When he hit the ground it was a mad scurry to get his vision in position to pick up any delayed charge, but again there was nothing only the reraising of his stance by the big man. Perhaps he'd really caught the guy off guard considering there was no sign of any real damage or he was getting a mild chance to show what he could do since it was becoming apparent he wasn't a real threat.
Slowly Kiyoshi raised to his feet while trying to think of his next pattern of attack. It was a short thought process as he really was less the analytic fighter and more the raw emotion/instinctive kind. After a quick breath, the Japanese student burst forward at full speed and thrusted his left arm out with a tightly closed fist at the end aimed at the beast's belly. It was an awkward looking strike as Kiyoshi coiled his legs so that his shoulder lined up with the target, as much of his weight was displaced away toward the back/right foot. However there was a method to this madness of technique, he expected his opponent to use his arms to block, grab, or doing something with the fist thus lowering the face guard. IF that happened, Kiyoshi would launched his weight forward from those same coiled legs and slam his head into the nose of the larger man in classic headbutt fashion. Of course that was contigent on the guard being dropped... fingers-crossed!

The man went for a lower blow. And he had to propel himself foward to do it. He could not have asked for a more perfect opening if he had begged for it. If the man got up from this he would be incredibly impressed and almost in awe at the fact that he could stand.
Pushing off of his right leg which was in the front, he would use the force and momentum to propel his left knee foward. Leaning his upper torso slightly back the left knee would strike like a spear point and glance off the side of the incoming fist towards the targets chin. Had he punched that incoming knee the chance of him breaking his fist would have been about 99 out of 100. Hopefully the knee would force him down to the ground where he would follow up his attack with a quick straight right punch to the face.

Oh shit! Well that attempted set up completely backfired and left him completely open to the counter that was forth coming. The immediate reaction was to move back but he was nowhere quick enough to completely avoided the strike thus he would have to rely on the small graces of adjusted impact. As the knee came in Kiyoshi shifted his head to the side so that instead of striking the chin the knee struck the side of his face, which was easier to cope with though he head was still ringing. The other was already slightly in place due to his original plan... with most of his weight already moved away from his opponent in an attempt to build up power it only took a slight shift further away to lose his balance and fall back, again lessening the blow but not negating it.
Despite all that, Kiyoshi was still on the ground and slightly dazed from the blow to his head albeit a thicker skull then most. Now this wasn't a position any fighter wanted to be in but when outmatched in every way by your opponent sometimes the best policy was to look weak. He curled his legs slightly toward his body while curling his arms around his head as a protective measure. When the currently blurred shape of his opponent moved forward for a follow up strike, Kiyoshi rocked his weight back toward his shoulders and shot his left foot directly up at what would most likely be the chin of his opponent. There was also nothing preventative done about the strike so if it was followed through on it would landed albeit slightly skewed, however then those arms of Kiyoshi would grab said fist. Again that was assuming the guy didn't abort to deal with the kick.

Vetis swatted the incoming kick away like a fly. It was simple childs play. The boy had asked him for no pity, he would get none. Like a cruel older brother picking on his younger sibling he would drop his knees down into the boys chest whilst going back to punch him in the face. Truely he did not have to try anymore but since he had asked for it he would get what he had requested. His knees would hopefully pin the arms to the chest. At this position his legs would be useless at this point. If he could get him in a pin he would follow up with repeated punches to the face. The boy would not even know how lucky he was that Vetis kept his gloves off.

So Kiyoshi's kick did not work to even slow down his opponent and when the guy got into the mount position that so many MMA fighters struggle for, it was pretty much a wrap. The one positive was that he was able to prevent his arms from being pinned against his chest, however he was nowhere near strong enough to get the man off of him. In fact the only feasible way out would be a nut shot, which Kiyoshi would never do to an opponent he respected. Thus all Kiyoshi could do was bring his arms up beside his head and try to weather the storm of punches coming his way.
Each one would compound the damage... gashes started to form on his face as it became harder and harder to keep his arms raised in protection. With each shot his vision and cognitive abilities diminished more and more. As much as he tried to hold on and figure a way out, it wouldn't be too long before he would be out cold...

He had knocked his opponent out? It was not something he had forsaw. Perhaps this kid was a lot weaker than he let on. Well given the circumstances Vetis could either be Vetis and take advantage of a kod opponent. Or he could grow up a little bit and simply give the kid a wet willy.
As he slouched the unconscious body of this young man over his shoulder he would drop him off in front of the nurses office laying collapsed on the floor. He would draw a funny dasterdly moustache on his face and give the child a wet willy. Compared to the antics he was known for this was a very big deal. Perhaps that priestess had gotten more under his skin than he thought.
