(OOC: Mekiel first, then anyone else)
Samantha was just leaving school, the day was finally over, though she wasn't exactly excited to go home. three days and she had only met so many people, it was a little dissapointing. she reminded herself that she was still gathering information and had made absolutely no effort to meet anyone and had still managed to meet some people so she was doing pretty okay. logic however was funny in the fact that no matter how much it made sense it hardly effected ones emotional state.
wandering down the hallways Samantha looked upon the student body, most of them seemed actually like fairly normal kids, the aura of fear was heavy, the intense electricity of something breaking out in a moments notice, the hungry wolves walked among the sheep with low smiles and hidden malice. of course Samantha felt she had a better sense of that then most people. but who knew?
Samantha kept mostly to herself, watching quietly as she walked, small conflicts arose and fell, not always in physical fights, but the energy of the school was frightening. the potential of a riot in this school seemed... almost inavoidable.
then again it was the same at her last school, 2 years and not one riot, no major epic battles, just fistfights, scuffles. she imagined if one was careful and cautious they really could avoid all the fighting and have a pretty normal high school experiance.
but that fear
to live in the fear constantly, it didn't matter how sneaky you where, unless you where one of the kids who loved the fighting there was the fear of being beaten by some lump of a person.
she shuttered, then jumped taken aback by a face slamming into the locker in front of her. laughter was had by several boys standing around one larger boy who had just shoved the younger boy into the locker.
this had to stop at some point... and that point shouldn't be graduation. this school needed victory over war, an end to all battles, something that would resolve everything
this school needed something to unify it.
but then that is an unsteady peace. enemies unified against a common enemy often return to old patterns once the threat was eliminated. unless you kept the unified threat constant...
but even still that didn't end violence, it simply redirected it. this would require more thought.
silently she stepped over the boy now on the ground continuing walking toward the exit of the hall when the large boy began following, his group of friends close behind

"You guys are roast chicken."Awesome one liner, huh? The kid who was slumped against the wall now, he was clearly out of it. And those kids were going to pay for what they did to him, plus whatever they were planning on doing to Samantha. So his left arm curled around the biggest guy's neck and he lifted him into the air, chucking him headfirst into the tiled floors. One move and he was out like a light. "One little lady for all you guys? No me gusta, muchachos. No me gusta."Two would be on either side, and he'd ram his fists into their ribcages, grip the back of their heads and slam their skulls together, quickly incapacitating them. Then two more, directly behind him. Arms would shoot back, slamming his elbows into their temples for an instant knock out. Any who were left were probably smart enough to run away. "Well now, how do you find yourself in such a position?"

Samantha turned around, she had been aware of the boys following her but she had figured if she could just make it out the doors she would be okay.
"You guys are roast chicken"
She turned around to find none other than Mekiel behind the boys calling their attention. this seemed a tad fitting and it would be a scene she imagined she would be seeing quite often in the future. hopefully he would get some better one liners, maybe she could help him with that.
"One little lady for all you guys? No me gusta, muchachos. No me gusta."
dumb luck of all the places that mekiel could have found her it would be the musty hallways under constant threat of attack that he appears, like a knight in shining armor to dispatch of all threats. this was definitely going to work out nicely. The fight that proceeded was short and sweet, mekiel was an effective fighter, not wasting too much time with flashy moves, he allowed for his flashy words and actions to fill that for him. talked talk and walked walk. not half bad.
"Well now, how do you find yourself in such a position?" he asked, as if these things wheren't obvious.
"Well, clearly my large stature, and well developed muscles should intimidate anyone, I have no idea how I keep ending up like this"she said with a sarcastic shrug and a smile. though dancing kept her fit it was easily recognizable that she wasn't much of a fighter. "Luckily I have my knight in shining armor to save me, Mekiel right?" she asked with a giggle.

"It intimidated me." He shrugged and spoke in a serious manner so as to make it seem convincing, though he was joking back. "I'm no knight, Miss Samantha. I'm just a guy," He'd flex, one arm pointing out to the sky, "with a knack for helping out damsels in distress." He seemed totally egotistical right now, but in all honesty he was kind of embarrassed to showcase himself like this. Damn Takehiro.
"You won't have to worry about guys like that anymore, I promise." He'd grin, no longer flexing and instead walking toward the girl, hands shoved into his pockets. "So, what're you planning for the day, and would you care to have some company?" It generally wasn't in his nature to be so uppity. =|

She laughed, his poking alone was enough to almost knock her off balance. the way he flexed, the things he did, they all seemed like jokes with a slightly serious 'no really I actually do mean it' behind them. "I'm no knight, Miss Samantha. I'm just a guy," cute
"with a knack for helping out damsels in distress."
she laughed again, she didn't particularly think of herself as a damsel in distress, but it was hard to argue the point, here at this school that really was where she was at currently. somewhere deep inside a cog began spinning upon that thought. she probably couldn't stay like this for the next few years while she was here, especially if she wanted to be a real help, eventually she would probably need to put herself onto the field of battle. that could be dealt with later though, for now mekiel was an excellent guardian. he even said so himself as he assured her not need worry of guys like that anymore. she couldn't help but smile at his grin
he walked over with his hands in his pockets "So, what're you planning for the day, and would you care to have some company?" he asked. "Sure" she said almost immediately after the question was done, a little giggle.
"I mean I wasn't really planning anything, but it'd be fun to kick it" she said with a little laugh, her face then went serious. "There has been something I've been meaning to talk to you about though..."
"It'll only take a second, here walk and talk with me" she said, wrapping her tiny arms around his huge one she tugged softly to get them to start walking. the action itself wasn't specifically romantic as Samantha would have done that to anyone, but it would be a lie to say Samantha would have quite enjoyed it as much with someone else.
as the two would leave the hallway she would start "This may seem out of the blue but can you tell me anything about Mr. Amakusa?" she asked before adding "I'd had a conversation with him a few days ago. the long and short of it is that he said he was amassing people under a flag of lasting peace, and that he wanted me to join this group which would be involved in a conflict to end all conflict" she explained in as simple terms as possible. the conversation had remained pretty vague and she imagined that Mr. A had done that on purpose. however for Samantha to be an effective Sage Commander she needed all the information. ALL of it. heavy reconaissance into the other side would be necessary as well, something she would need to do on her own time. probably away from her loyal knight.
"does that sound familiar, or do I sound crazy?" she asked with a little smile, clearly she expected it to sound more familiar.

"No one's more fun to be 'round than the Iron Dragon. That's wassup." He'd grin as she took his arm and they began to walk. What she said he already knew, plus more, so he'd simply nod as she spoke. Once she was done, though, he'd laugh.
"Takehiro's a father figure to me, so I know all there is to know about the guy. What he's going about doing is he's taking a certain few students he believes have the capabilities to tame the masses when acting together, but we all know it won't end right away. That's why he's trying to not only get skilled fighters, but thinkers, so I'm guessing you've probably got quite the brain up here." His free hand would come around and pat her head. And himself, he acted really dumb but he was quite smart. Takehiro's A+ student.
"Since he can't officially instate new Pillar's he's creating his own little group and appointing certain positions. In comparison, my position is similar to that of School Captain, but it's unofficial. We're kind of like the Order of the Phoenix, y'know? But Takehiro made me Harry instead of taking up that role himself." He laughed at the comparison, but it was the best he could think of.
"But enough about Takehiro. I don't feel like talking about masculinity right now." He'd nudge her lightly with his elbow. "Tell me 'bout yourself, Miss. You seem pretty interesting."

She would laugh, he was always in such a good mood, he explained in his own words about takehiro and the situation. this was definitely a real thing, she wasn't being punked, that was good. it also made her crave for more information the more she had the more she could be useful in a very meaningful way. he would pat her head, she didn't particularly like that, but it wasn't exactly something worth making a big deal about, she would simply let go of his arm at that moment. subtlety subtlety. "well, Mr. A see's something in me, but its hard to say, intelligence, like most skills, is a relative one, outside an IQ test, which proves very little, it is comparable only to who you're around. I may be smart, but for all I know I'm the least intelligent person in the school" she knew that she wasn't the least intelligent girl, which brought her to a joke "Of course if that was the case I'm sure I'd be more like... them" she said pointing to your group of average blond ditzy girls "but then for all we know, they head the academic decathalon team... but probably not" she said with a knowing smile and a laugh.
"Since he can't officially instate new Pillar's he's creating his own little group and appointing certain positions. In comparison, my position is similar to that of School Captain, but it's unofficial. We're kind of like the Order of the Phoenix, y'know? But Takehiro made me Harry instead of taking up that role himself."
sounded very interesting. of course a group like that sounded more like dumbledores army, except dumbledore was still present. Mr. A made for a pretty good dumbledore.
"I suppose that makes me hermione" she said with a little laugh
she was interested in continuing but Mekiel curbed the conversation saying he didn't really want to talk about 'masculine' things. curious, and too bad, he clearly didn't know samantha, who was a tomboy at heart.
"Tell me 'bout yourself, Miss. You seem pretty interesting."
he was on the other hand trying to get to know samantha, so that of itself had merit. samantha valued someone who valued other people.
she was caught for a moment, wanting to talk about what they had just been talking about, and being asked a vague question about herself. alas, the boys intentions where good, he had other things on his mind. "welllllll" she drew it out as she considered what might be truly interesting about her. it wasn't that she didn't think she was interesting, simply that nothing sprung forth from the top of her head as a fun fact. "I dunno, I moved to long beach 3 days ago, four if you count my first night here, I used to live in newport beach, pretty much since I was born." she shrugged "I'm kind of a tomboy though I don't act like it, I like sports and strategy games. these days I've been a little more into singing, but I'm really good at dancing, I've been dancing for years." she explained, she had no idea what he was looking for in an answer so she just vomited everything running through her head. "To be completely honest, while I can tell you likes and dislikes, I think the best way to get to know me is definitely just being around me and seeing how I act. actions speak louder than words. I am a girl of my cause, and right now my cause is ending the violence, so thats very important to me, I am also ambitious to become the first woman president, but that is a long term goal, kept in reality by accomplishing smaller goals." she finished, her finger bobbing through the air in mental check that there was nothing left she really wanted to share. She might have said something about her deep fascination with 'The art of war' but unless you had read the book yourself it was hard to talk about. besides, can't let them know everything the first time around right? "That's pretty much it about me, your turn" she said with a chuckle, nudging his arm back, though her lack of strength made her feel like she had simplely bumped her elbow against a brick wall. without hesitation she walked toward a bench outside and sat upon it, seemed like a nice place to continue their conversation.

[OoC: Again, apologies for the delay. =[]
"Hmm.. interesting. But if actions speak louder than words, why is it the pen is mightier than the sword?"
He put a finger to his chin, in "thought," before he moved over and took a seat next to her, arms outstretched before he rested them at his sides.
"I'm a brawler by nature. I love the feel of a fight, y'know? Gets the blood running and you just feel excited. It's amazing." As to be expected, right? But then a smile happened across his face. "But that's just sort of an escape for a guy like me. I fight to get my mind off of everything. You could say I'm a "sensi" or whatever the term is nowadays. I'm bad with people.. I fake an ego just to seem confident. Hence the ego.." A shrug.
"But I'm an iron wall you can't climb over. When I set my mind to something, it happens. Uh.. I'm quick to defend not myself, but others." Once more he tapped his chin in thought. "And since I came back from San Diego I've been feeling empty." He missed Sophie. =[

[ooc:not a problem ] "Hmm.. interesting. But if actions speak louder than words, why is it the pen is mightier than the sword?" she chuckled "because every saying is meant to be taken out of context of the others" her green eyes glimmered and he began. he had a context of psychology, or at least involving his ego, and he was a sensitive brawler type. now that was curious. with his shrug she smiled "you're definitely the first sensitive brawler I've ever met, that sounds interesting" being a tomboy she could imagine people fighting for fun, though it didn't seem like something she'd do herself, as long as both parties wanted to fight just for fun and they did it off school grounds, what other people did in their spare time was none of her business. he mentioned his iron will, and then his emptiness. how sad. well, getting past the first impression and actually getting to know someone was always interesting. she poked him "You don't feel empty to me" she said with a little laugh. "so why do you feel that way?" she asked, her lips coming back to a smile
