(OOC: Launching an assault for a stronghold. I'd like to specifically request Orion to GM this thread.
Torrance Memorial Medical Center
Territory specifications: East border is Highway 110, north border is San Diego Freeway, south border is Zampenni Field, and west border is Rodondo Beach.)
Hidden within the shadows of the various surrounding buildings, in three groups of eight members each, The Flame Battalion blended in seamlessly, waiting on the orders of their leader, Kazuya, who was with the first group in front. Pulling one blade free from its sheath on his back silently, he would move his blade out into the sunlight, catching the sun's rays, the light reflected off the metal, giving the signal to the two of the three members of the Shadow Trio leading the other groups and Mekiel, to move out.
Darting out quickly from the shadows, Kazuya would move quickly and silently towards the medical center, his group right behind him, while the other two groups would remain stationed just outside the center, hidden deep in the shadows of the buildings, acting as back-up. Between Mekiel and Kazuya, they would be more than sufficient enough to handle any forces inside the center.

I would move up quickly with Kaz, following just behind him but just ahead of the group. My own group of guys came with me, 14 in total. Once we were close enough, I would begin to scout for patrols on the ground and any at the top of the building, as well as quicker and more efficient means of entrance.

If any of this seems off, please let me know BEFORE you post so I may make corrections. Good? Good.}
[Kazuya Hikari is HARDMODE. You mess up, you may get maimed/die. This also applies to Mekiel Echigo, as he is following along.]
[Torrence Medical Center. One of Barker's old major strongholds, this area houses medical staff and researchers to improve on medical abilities and take of injured soldiers and civilians. Ever since Strike's "open arms" offer to the public, many civilians have flocked to here to seek better medical care for themselves, their loved ones, etc. This, in return, has given this area a large civilian presence. The gratitude for the medical treatment on the surface has led to an influx of volunteers to Midgard, increasing the place's already admittedly high security due to Barker's old set-up of forces that was unchanged by Strike's takeover. However, rumor has it that below the first floor, some... "unethical" experiments take place. However, these rumors are unconfirmed, and they mention that all experiments are on volunteers, so people give them little credit. The people's love of Strike for offering his services make them ignore such dark things, and so they would be unwelcoming of a new force upsetting the region's standards.]
{Layout of building: Height: 3f, 2f, ground level, unknown amount of underground floors.
You want a floor map of the first floor? Go google the damn place. Everything beyond that is up to MY discretion, however.
Forces:
Civilians: Unknown #. Threat level: Unfriendly. Will not help you, and will more then likely sabotage you if a chance is given. However, will tend to avoid open combat unless provoked.
Soldiers: Unknown #. Threat level: Hostile. Your forces are obviously not here for medical treatment, or peaceful resolution. Will attack on sight.
Medical staff: Unknown #. Threat level: Neutral. True professionals, they don't give a damn who they're helping. Attacking them or their patients will instantly change them to HOSTILE, however. On the same token, if you bring a wounded man to their care, they will do their best to treat them. I'd advise against interrupting any surgery, however.
Patients: Unknown #. Threat Level: Neutral. People in the hospital for treatment, they'll be ranging from sick and broken bones and dying to minor injuries and scuffs. They're not going to want to pick a fight, or start one near them. I'd be careful of those with illnesses, they may be contagious....
Underground forces: Unknown #. Threat level: VERY HOSTILE. You're not supposed to be here. You will need to be silenced on everything you may find.... and everything down here knows it.}
Time of day: Dusk. Give you more shadows to work with, and less people will be frequenting the area. On the other side of the coin, however, people will be more wary. They will sound the alarm quicker, if given a chance, to alert.}
((NOTES:
WARNING: Strike Strongholds nearby. If an alarm sounds, word will be spread as fast as possible to surrounding Strongholds for backup.
GOALS: Clear Medical Center of all HOSTILE forces. Keep CIVILIAN/NON-COMBAT PERSONNEL casualties to a minimum. HOSTILES MUST BE KILLED. It is PREFERABLE to KO any CIVILIAN/NON-COMBAT PERSONNEL you fight.
HINTS: Self-control, self-control, self-control. Persuasion is an option for CIVILIANS to increase their liking towards you, leading towards less actions taken against you by them. Doctors are PROFESSIONAL, they don't care who's hurt, they took an oath to help, and they will carry out that oath.
Good luck boyos, I'm not gonna make this easy. This will be DICE for any instances of chance, just to keep things fresh.))
(((NEW NOTEs: Civilians and non-combat personnel: All stats = 5. Soldiers wear uniforms to distinguish them from civilians. At least above-ground....)))
Due to the time of day, there wouldn't be much traffic. A few civilians are littered about the area, chatting amiably, smoking away from any doors or windows. 4 Soldiers are standing by each entrance relaxed but alert, also chatting amongst themselves. The parking lot is half-empty, and the full array of ambulances are here. A glance above would note the medical helicopter is at the rooftop, waiting to go at a moment's notice for an emergency.

Keeping to the shadows and moving silently but quickly, to avoid detection from civilians and soldiers alike, hiding behind a building one block away from the center, Kazuya would hold up a fist, indicating to his group, Mekiel, and Mekiel's group to halt, as his own group of seven would stop, the remaining two groups of eight each not far behind, one hidden behind the building on the opposite side of the street, the other behind the building right beside the second group opposite them. Making note of the civilians and soldiers gathered in front of the center itself, before moving out, he would turn to Mekiel, and wordlessly pull out a few items from the medium sized satchel bag he was carrying with him, and hold them out for Mekiel to take. If Mekiel took them, he would find Kazuya had given him a brand new baseball cap, a Candy Tear, and finally, oddly though, a Christmas cookie wrapped in parchment paper. "... Trust me, you'll thank me for the cookie. I'd suggest eating it now, before we move out."Kazuya would say in a hushed tone of voice, as he himself would pull out a cookie of his own and eat it, feeling an immediate burst of energy flow through him. Once Mekiel was all prepared, pulling his helmet from the bag and pulling it on, rolling the bag up and stowing it away, he would nod at Mekiel before moving out, quickly but silently moving through the shadows while Mekiel did his thing to get in. If all went as they planned, Kazuya would try to slowly sneak up behind the four soldiers posted at the entrance located farthest from civilian view, and if he managed to, would quickly snap the necks of the soldiers in rapid succession, before any of them could comprehend what was happening or call for backup. If all went smoothly, he, along with three members of his group, would quickly drag the bodies out of sight and hide them very well, before stealing and putting on the uniforms of the soldiers, and to avoid drawing suspicion, four of the seven would resume guarding the entrance, acting like nothing had happened, while the other three and Kazuya would move onto to the next group of guards second furthest from civilian view, moving slowly to stay invisible. (OOC: Items given to Mekiel: Dead Cap+4 Wis +5 Cha Power: Allows the wearer to see through walls twice per thread. x1 Candy Tear This candy is a light blue, and in the shape of a tear drop. It can easily be consumed in a single bite and seems to almost melt in the ingester's mouth. This candy can heal most minor wounds from cuts, and bruises, to concussions or internal bleeding. Muscles will even mend themselves after ingesting. Heals small wounds up to ripped muscles. +5 Con for thread ingested in. I paused, curious, as Kazuya handed me the items. Not that I'd complain, though. Pretty sure the guy didn't want to snack up before the fight other than to just get some sugar, and the hat was nice enough. I took the items and ate the cookie rather quickly, immediately feeling a surge of some sort of power flowing through me. It wasn't enough to make me feel like I could destroy the building, but I felt more nimble on my feet. Still, that other treat would be left for later.
"Alright, we're going to take a different route than Kaz, here. Any of you willing to get a little roughed up?" The men looked confused, but one stepped forward. "Sorry about this, buddy, but this is gonna be the easiest way in," he spoke quietly, putting his cap over his head. A palm rushed to the guys shoulder, popping it out of place, and he proceeded to do the same with the guy's knee. From there, he'd pop out his own shoulder, gritting his teeth as he did so. "Alright, four guys with us, the rest of you, come for the uniforms once we've dispatched the guards."
Two men at his side, and two carrying the wounded comrade, they approached the center for assistance. He assumed they'd have no qualms with helping the wounded and they could just walk right in.
ASSUMING THEY GET INSIDE WITH NO TROUBLES, Mekiel would find a blind spot and pop his shoulder back into place. From there, if the coast was clear of civilians, he and three of his men would snap the necks of the guards watching the entrance, before snatching the uniforms and getting the rest of his men inside. If he cannot go through with this, he sends one guy back out to repeat the process they just went through at set intervals, while he himself went to scout the area, looking for easy access up and down the floors, and how many guards were on this first floor.
[OoC: Candy Tear still unused, Cap equipped. New stats with items: Strength: 49 (+ 61.4 with Qi) Constitution: 59 (+29.4 from dislocating man's shoulder, knee. +14.7 extra if neck-break works. Total of +44.1 if neck-break works.) Dexterity: 41 Wisdom: 36 Intelligence: 37 Charisma: 49]

OOC: Responses will be in order, since you split up. Alright then... here we go.
((Kazuya's team))
Kazuya, practically invisible, would get to the guards unnoticed. Following that, using his awesome speed and strength, he would snap the necks of the guards! Victory!
... Except they didn't die. Actually, the men's muscles would spasm before resetting themselves, all reaching for weaponry holstered at their side. They were not happy.
"Terrorist! Take him down!"
((Mekiel's team))
"Oh crap, give these guys a hand! You alright?"
The guards would rush forward and help the men ease Mekiel and his injured comrade into the waiting room, but would then leave them alone to head back to their posts after checking in with the receptionist. As they weren't heavily injured, the receptionist took their name and number before turning to a computer, not paying attention and unable to see out the front. Crappy design flaw of the building...
Mekiel would pop his shoulder back in unnoticed!
Mekiel and three of his men would approach the guards. Sneaking up behind, Mekiel and his men would snap the necks of their targets!
... Only for them to fix themselves! The guards were not happy, drawing riot batons.
"Terrorist scum! Striking a medical center is so low!"
NOTE: Guards alerted! Thankfully, the civilians have not noticed, and no alarm has been sounded! Eliminate them quickly, or you'll find yourself unwelcome in short order...
Orion's forum: About Midgard soldiers...
So, I, Orion, have chatted up several Midgard citizens and a few off-duty soldiers out in bars, and I have come across something interesting. All Midgard soldiers, unless they are raw cadets in training, have received an augmentation of sorts to their body of various things. This makes them, along with their superior training, able to quell any civilian delinquency with ease. I don't know all types of augmentation can be acquired, yet, but I'll be looking into things... some I have found out, however, that a few notable ones are things like exoskeletons, or elemental things. There's even been a few mentions of giving a few soldiers snake-like bodies, in the terms of superior muscle control and the ability to ignore broken bones or even reset them with a simple fix. Nasty opponents, people should be on their guard if they pick a fight with Midgard troops, they're not your average forces....

Well that was disappointing.
But if the soldiers hadn't noticed the other seven with him, wordlessly, Kazuya would draw both his katanas from their sheathes on his back before taking off towards the soldiers without a single warning or indication, light cloak of fire that was at an extremely high temperature completely surrounding his body, as the seven would retreat and blend in with the darkness. With Kazuya serving as a distraction, three of the seven would serve to act as deterrents of any civilians, simply by initiating friendly chats, while the other four would keep to the shadows, ready to provide back-up to Kazuya if necessary.
If he managed to reach them undeterred, he would attempt to disembowel all four with quick horizontal slashes, followed up by quickly slitting their throats to prevent them from verbally alerting any other soldiers in the vicinity. If all went according to plan and they were dead for good this time, he would strip them of their uniforms and then look around for a large barrel. If he found one, he would pile the bodies inside the barrel, before burning the bodies to ashes, masking the smell by piling log upon log on top, before slowly disappearing into the shadows, as the four members who now wore the uniforms would resume acting as guards, to avoid drawing any suspicion, and if anyone came by asking about the smoke, they would simply say they were cold and had created a fire to keep warm.

Unexpected, but not entirely something I had never dealt with in the past. Quickly, I, along with my three guys, would put the men in a choke hold as they regenerated, crushing their tracheas. We would drag them to a secluded area and, from there, a blade of iron formed around my forearm and - regrettably - I slit their throats, each one. And just to be sure, I would wait to see if they'd regenerate from that as well, and if they did, I would decapitate them, even more regrettably. But I had to be sure they were dead, and once they were, my men would strip them of their uniforms and adorn them themselves.
From here, I continued to scan the first floor and look for a way to the second, or to the basement. Again, I tried to see just how many guards I could find on the first floor, as well.
My men remaining outside would divide their responsibilities evenly. Half of them would go and insure the civilians remained calm and distracted, and the other half would make their way inside after Mekiel cleared the entrance of guards.
[OoC: Strength: 49 (+ 61.4 with Qi) Constitution: 59+44.1-1.3(Shield Degradation)=101.8 (+58.8 if throat-slits successful) Dexterity: 41 Wisdom: 36 Intelligence: 37 Charisma: 49]

((Kazuya))
Because Kazuya completely outclassed the mooks... yeah, they die. And there's blood.... a lot of blood. Yeah, the concrete is a little slick now, kudos. Kazuya would look for a barrel!
(Roll dice. Chuckle)
Kazuya does not find a barrel! Also, his cloak of fire was bright, grabbing the attention of a few nearby civilians! What is his new course of action?
((Mekiel))
So, the one Mekiel had, would be struggling against the choke-hold, slamming his elbow into the giant's solar plexus as best as he could, repeatedly, until he fell unconscious. The other three.... well, sadly, Mekiel's mooks weren't anywhere near as Mekiel, and the soldiers are actually stronger, and in better shape. So... they actually get outclassed, as the attempted chokehold fails with the soldiers using more raw brute force to rip the arms off from around their necks, and would start striking them with riot batons! That are sparking due to electricity: THESE ARE TASER RIOT BATONS.
(roll dice)
One of Mekiel's mooks gets unlucky and takes a riot baton to the head, and he falls unconscious! The remaining two are able to dodge, but certainly need help!
{Kazuya's guard detail killed! Bodies need to be disposed of. Civilians curious!
Mekiel has eliminated one guard, while taking slight damage to himself! Remaining three guards are hammering Mekiel's mooks with taser riot batons! Mekiel's mooks are taking damage!
Mekiel's forces: -1
Strike soldiers: -5}

Thinking quickly, Kazuya would instruct the four of the seven that were dressed in the Strike uniform to quickly pile the bodies on top of each other, before he would light them on fire and let them burn to ashes. The cloak of fire surrounding his body would then quickly die out as he would slowly slink back into the shadows and join the other three already well-hidden from view, leaving the four to handle the curious civilians.
When the civilians came over, they would see the group of four soldiers huddled around the pile of burning bodies, as one of the soldiers would speak up.
"Terrorist scum! Did you honestly think you could defeat us?"
If Kazuya managed to avoid the civilians, using his Qi, he would try to determine the number of heat signatures present in the center itself, while slowly making his way to the next group of soldiers second farthest away from civilian view, the remaining three with him.

One of my men fell to the floor, but I'd waste no time disposing of the remaining guards. Iron formed around my forearms so I had blades on either arm, and in one swift movement, I'd go for a decapitation on two of the men. For the remaining one, I pointed my palm at him, and my hand began to glow. In less than a second, a wave of pure energy would encase his head and disintegrate it without a sound. For good measure, I would do the same to the other men and insure their deaths.
Meanwhile, I sent my three men who were still standing adjacent to me to scout the first floor, but instructed them to blend in. I would drag the downed bodies to a nearby area and leave their uniforms for my other five guys who would follow in after me.
[OoC: Strength: 49 (+ 61.4 with Qi) Constitution: 59+70(after subtractions)=129. (+44.1 if decapitations and disintegration successful) Dexterity: 41 Wisdom: 36 Intelligence: 37 Charisma: 49]
