- A blanket of night fell across the city as the sun disappeared, swallowed by the horizon. A chilling cold swept through the streets, made even more fierce by a violent wind. Not a soul dared venture outside of their homes, for the unusually harsh weather was unrelenting and indiscriminate. It was on this night in particular the self-proclaimed Immaculate One found himself with his nephew retreating into an abandoned warehouse to escape the cold. On normal circumstances he would brave the weather, but on this such night, he felt weak. He was too far from his post to go comfortably.
- As Takehiro entered a vacant building on a seemingly abandoned street, he shut the door behind him, preventing the cold's entry and giving him sudden warmth. Jimseung turned on the lights in the room, and he and his uncle sat by the door, warming themselves up. "This weather's gone crazy, hasn't it, Uncle?" The boy huddled in his jacket, laughing a little. Takehiro smiled and nodded. "I wasn't expecting it to get this cold, that's for sure." The two would kill time with small talk, which was, admittedly, very nice, considering they'd done very little of it recently. So much had gotten in the way of their bonding time, so maybe it seemed one thing would work out tonight. Hours would pass, and eventually the two would succumb to sleep, amidst their conversation.
- When he awoke, Takehiro would be greeted with the sight of a very familiar woman sitting before him, sharpening a knife. The giant believed himself to be groggy at first, squinting a little and rubbing his eyes. There was no way who he was seeing in front of him could really be there at all, and yet, there she was, in the flesh. It shocked him, and his eyes widened. He felt a sense of fear overcome him and he sunk against the wall as close as he could before she looked up to him with a smile.
- His oldest sister.
- "I never thought I'd find you holed up in some raggedy ass place like this, baby brother," the small woman began as she stood to her feet and approached Takehiro. She kneeled in front of him, bringing her face inches away from his. Fear was in his eyes, and that was not something he was used to. She seemed to peer into his soul a moment before she grinned, patting the giant on the head and roughing his hair up a bit. "It's good to see you, Tak. And I see you've got Jim here with you!" Her hand fell to the boy's head next, shaking him a little and waking him from his sleep. "Yes - I told you I'd take care of him, didn't I?" "Oh please," she interrupted. "Did you honestly think we wouldn't come and find you?"
- "Aunt Ayumi?" Jimseung himself seemed confused, and scared as well. The woman only nodded in response as she stabbed the knife shew as holding into the wall, directly next to Takehiro's head. In each hand, she took the two by their collars and forced them to their feet. She wasn't tall enough to lift them off the ground, but the intimidation was what it was. "We've missed the two of you, so very much."
- Today was going to be a wild day, that much was certain.
