they say we what we are but we don't have to be I'm bad behavior but I do it in the best way. ▼ | ♦ Valentine's Day. The day of the lovers and fools. A silly little propaganda making the rich richer with the pounds of chocolate sold. Flowers sold by the dozen just so they could sit in a vase forgotten as lovers do what they do. Soon the petals wilt away to bitter nothingness just like the so called 'love' that was somehow heightened by the day's given title. If anyone asked Remy about Valentine's Day her answer would be simply it was a day for guys to try extra hard to get into a girls pants. And for girls to have an excuse to buy sexy lingerie to tease those guys. Just one of the few things she didn't understand about the mind of the human race. Suckered into believing in such a thing.
♦ One could try and play the 'she's bitter cause she has no one' card but they'd be absolutely incorrect. There was no bitterness within the dirty blonde beauty for this day especially. It was like any other day in her book. Whatever people wanted to do with their time and money was there business. Whatever bottomless pit of angry females hunting them down they wanted to attempt to crawl out of she'd gladly watch with a drink and popcorn. Remy would be the one dangling the rope to safety giving them hope just to yank it back and laugh. That actually didn't sound like a bad idea. The mischievous minx found her way to some small time bar somewhere in the city with every intent on making Santa's naughty list. As if she was ever on the other.
♦ It wasn't hard that she stood out amongst the crowd a bit in her Batman logo top and simple fitted jeans. Not to mention she was seemingly about the youngest one in the room. From what she could tell it was a bunch of drunken bitter men and a few women. Some were having the time of their lives while others were wallowing in self pity. "Pathetic."♦ Remy spat under her breath. With grace she helped herself across the room towards the jukebox. It was like she walked into a lions den the way eyes fixated on the young gazelle. The fools were barely an after thought as she fiddled with the contraption before settling on a song. Katy Perry's 'Dark Horse' began while Remy's hip naturally swayed to the beat. There was always a brazen one in these crowds and he found his way to the preoccupied gal placing a hand on her ass. There was very little hesitation in Remy's reaction to grab that hand by the wrist and harshly twist it forcing a yell and the man to kneel. Looking down to him she sang the lyrics with a teasing facade."♪But don't make me your enemy, your enemy.. you enemy ♪ "♦ With an added twist his wrist snapped and she like nothing happened just swayed away to the middle of the floor enjoying the music - still singing."♪ So you wanna play with magic boy you should know what you're falling for. Baby do you dare to do this cause I'm coming at you like a dark horse. ♪ "♦ The guys pal seemed to want to exact a drunken revenge and as he charged with sloppy steps Remy just danced herself into a side step letting him run into the jukebox inadvertently changing the song to 'I love rock and roll'. The poor sap remained dazed on the ground while Remy seemed to feel like a fire light inside of her. She jumped on the bar singing along."♪ I love rock and roll so put another dime in the jukebox, baby. I love rock and roll so come on take your time and dance with me! Ow! ♪"♦ Seem like the barkeep didn't even mind, in truth he chuckled. Those guys from before didn't seemed to be liked very much probably way little fucks were given to what happened to them. There were a few sneers but more got into the groove and few cat called. Briefly hazel greens settled on a guy seemingly around her age group to which she'd shoot over a wink. Being the ringleader pushed for the crowd to sing out the chorus again the moment it came back around. Her eyes were closed when the guy that ran into the jukebox approached while she was still on top of the bar he was reaching for her leg to yank her down and spoil all the fun. Some people were such a party pooper. |

Levi sat at the bar, drinking a tall glass or water. He wasn't much of a drinker and even though he knew the bartender here well enough, he needed to stay sober to make sure his grandfather stayed out of trouble. The normally stoic, wise man had a wild streak that was easily invoked when he drank. Usually it was harmless fun, but it still usually required Levi to come pick him up, so Levi had begun simply coming with him. He heard a yell of pain from behind him, by the juke box and sighed as he looked over. Surprisingly, it wasn't his grandfather torturing someone and he was amused to find the man, who he knew as a bit of a pervert, getting some just desserts. He chuckled and looked to the barkeep cleaning the bar next to him with a grin before returning his gaze to the girl by the jukebox.
"About time someone put Larry in his place. Oh jesus..."
Levi winced as Larry's friend went face first into the jukebox, thankfully only changing the song and not breaking the only source of entertainment in the bar, minus a pool table of course. He would watch as the girl, seemingly close to his age, hopped up on the bar and began dancing. He was not oblivious to how attractive she was, but he managed to keep his composure as she winked at him, tipping his glass with a nod at her as he continued to watch.
This is what this bar needs, some people that know how to have fun.
Levi's eyes quickly caught the approach of a dazed, but furious man. He had managed to pull himself out of the jukebox and was staggering towards the girl. As he reached towards the girl's ankle, the sound of a bar stool scooting and hitting the ground could be heard as Levi's hand latched onto the man's wrist. Levi had dashed down the bar to intercept him, his brow furrowed slightly with more of a dangerous gleam in his eye than a violent one. The man gawked at Levi, having not seen him coming at all.
"But...she has it coming. Fuck you man! You aren't the boss of me!"
The second the man turned to make a move against Levi, the Asian turned his wrist outward, dropping the man to a knee while his left hand reached towards the man's face and he dug his thumb into the pressure point behind the jaw, causing the man to scream.
"You're done Dave, say you're sorry and you can go home."
The song finished, leaving the bar in silence with everyone's attention was on the two men. Levi eased the pressure from his thumb to give Dave a chance to reply. He man's face was turning red from strain, but he managed to nod before speaking.
"O-okay! I'm done! I'm sorry!"
Levi held on for another couple of seconds, glaring into Dave's eyes with disdain before releasing him. Dave fell to his hands and knees and breathed heavily for a moment before slowly standing. He glared back at Levi who returned the stare, though his own stare had no anger behind it. Dave slowly made his way out of the bar, cursing under his breath. Satisfied, Levi glanced to the girl before walking over to the jukebox, putting her original song into the queue and walking back to his seat as the Katie Perry hit began to play once again.

they say we what we are but we don't have to be I'm bad behavior but I do it in the best way. ▼ | ♦ Remy wasn't entirely oblivious to the events that were transpiring just below her makeshift stage. She was only partially lost in her bliss of entertainment to herself and the other patrons. The one she offered a wink too before was a quick little devil coming to her rescue. Of course the fun having beauty wouldn't think she needed his assistance. To her he only saved the man himself for a worser fate than what the Asian bestowed upon him. Remy wouldn't have been so kind a second time around. He was lucky when she just let him run into the machine, though his own embarrassment was beautiful to let unfold.
♦ Almost absentmindedly her body continued to the beat, strolling along the bar till the noise seized. But a new yet familiar sound replaced the former rhythmic beat. The accent of someone in pleading pain drew the eyes of the wolf. Ears perking to attention. Remy watched as the man strained with the pressure applied skillfully by the young Asian. The intimidation factor was strong. He held a presence almost unyielding. Had Remy found her nights entertainment? Momentarily their eyes locked after the drunken fool was forced to apologize, something Remy cared nothing for. A steady gaze followed his movements to the jukebox where he selected her original chosen song.
♦ She didn't need a hero but since he wanted to play the role how could she pass up the opportunity to confront her 'savior'. The clicking of her heeled boots echoed on the bar top but not enough to overthrow the music. Standing in front of him Remy would crouch down tilting her head to the right, giving exposure to the tattoo on the left side of her neck."'My hero."♦ She smirked with satisfaction. With a care she made herself comfortable sitting on the bar in front of him. Legs dangling off a bit a little at his sides. His tall glass of water between her legs. "Ey Mack!""Names not Mack sweetheart." ♦ She tilted her head back and towards the barkeeps direction."Yet you answered all the same.""I get it enough." "Huh. You look like a Mack. I'ma call you Mack. Let me get a Fireball. Wait... no.. make that Devil's Advocate.. And don't give me the underage thing, you won't tell I won't tell. You know you don't care. Money is money right?""Hmm..You got a pair on you sweetheart. You sure you can handle that drink?" "The biggest. You're asking the wrong question. It's can the drink handle me?"♦ The barkeep chuckled, shaking his head as he mixed her drink. One part Fireball whiskey. One part spiced rum. One part Apple Schnapps and filled with lemon-lime soda. Remy shot him a wink before resetting her gaze on the Asian lad. If he never grabbed his drink then she would casually have both hands clasped loosely around the glass. If he had removed it her hands would be placed on either side of her from behind. Like a curious animal she tilted her head again, staring at him with analytical wolf like eyes."You're not a ninja are you? I hate ninjas. Sneaky little bastards."♦ Her drink would get set next to her to which she ignored for the time being. Currently keeping hazel green gems locked on the fellow youth following up the question with statement before he could answer."That was pretty sexy."♦ With that she'd scoop up her glass and take a sip with eyes still on him. She was a bold one, if not a bit forward. |
