The sun hung bright in the sky above the academy, as a mysterious young man walked toward the main entrance. He walked with a sense of purpose, a duffelbag slung over his right shoulder, toward the main office. He wore a grey turtleneck over a pair of black slacks and black shoes, over the turtleneck was a black lab coat with a strange white device plugged into the back of it. His hair was a messy mop of black above a serious looking face, set with two very distinctly different eyes. His left eye was a natural blue that looked gorgeous with the right lighting. His right eye, however, was a bright pale orange, that, upon observation sent a chill up the spine. His mouth, a thin line on a pale and scarred face.
He approached the service desk and set the duffel down with an audible THUD. The individual looked up from the desk and frowned. "Name?" they asked.
"William D. Gaster, I was transferred this morning," the young man stated.
The individual tapped on the keyboard for a moment before looking back at William, "We were not expecting you for another hour," they said, "please wait here. Someone will be along to give you a tour, shortly."
The person stood and walked down a hall, leaving William to his own devices. With any luck, he wouldn't be bored for long.
He felt as if he was being watched, though he couldn't pinpoint from where as he was rifling through his duffelbag pulling out various tools and what appeared to be a mechanical hand. He then pulled a small crystal out and examined it. It was a blue crystal that he felt connected with for unknown reasons. He popped the crystal into a device on his left arm. The device closed and he flicked his wrist, a blue-glowing blade coming out of the device and stopping two feet from the end of his fist. He flicked his wrist again, and the blade deactivated.
