She planted her feet as he charged into her, and grinned. With her free hand, she would punch up, aiming straight for the solar plexus even as he would attempt to bring her down. If they went down, they'd go down together, and she'd make damn sure it hurt.
She kept a tight grip on her bokken, never one to drop her sword.

Haku wouldn't stop even if he could see what she was doing however he would try to land with his full weight on top of Lorelai his elbow digging into her!

She ground her teeth together as his elbow dug into him, but she wrapped both legs around him. She had one fist buried deep in his stomach and one clinging to her bokken as she threw her weight up and into one side of his body.
Lorelai didn't enjoy grappling as much as she did sword fighting, but she know how. She would try to roll him onto his back so she could sit up, on top of him, while he would have to recover from the gut punch.

And recover was all he could do, he couldn't breathe, and she wasn't making it easier... He gaped and try to inhale air but was struggling!

Lorelai rolled Haku onto his back as he struggled for air and placed her bokken against his neck in one swift motion. She was breathing only slightly harder than usual and hadn't actively broken a sweat.
She leaned forward and tapped his forehead with her free hand, offering him a very small smile, and then leaned back to relax. She seemed oblivious to the fact that she was resting at the base of his stomach. In her mind, she assumed that was the best place to keep him pinned, but allow him to catch his breath.
"You need to work on your recovery from an attack," she murmured. "A faster opponent will always have the upper hand if you use brute force."

He would finally gasp in air! He would inhale as much as he could and cough here and there.
"I'll *cough cough* I'll keep that in mind!"
He would say as he thrusted up with his hips, hoping to force her off balance as he quickly raised his body in an attempt to reverse pin her!

Lorelai grinned as he shoved upwards, keeping the bokken in a firm grip against his neck. He did all the work for her, as he shoved his body upward, he would be slamming himself straight into her practice sword. All she had to do was try to keep her balance.

When he was shoved back down with her bokken he would buck again and this time attempt to his her in arm with his baton!

There was no way for her to dodge at such a close proximity, so she took the hit and winced, tightening her grip on the bokken. Never release your sword.... No matter the pain she was in, she would keep her sword in her hand until death.
Lorelai remained on top of Haku, but shifted her weight ever so slightly. She shifted her free hand down to strike at where his shoulder met his neck, focused on trying to hit the pressure point to make him lose his grip on his baton.
"I will let you back up if you want another go at me," she murmured.

Lorelai took the hit and pain burst through her head. That strange, sadistic smile crept across her face, and the light began to dim behind her eyes. So he wanted to keep fighting?
She placed her free hand on the end of the bokken, and with her full weight, slammed down on his throat. It wouldn't be enough to break anything, but what struggle he would have to breathe would quickly turn into inability.
Lorelai was a small girl... but in that moment, she was actively moving to knock him out. Superior be damned.

Lorelai was huffing, her vision slightly blurry, as she held the bokken against his neck for another couple of seconds. It took her a moment before she realized what she was doing.
"Shit!"
She released his neck and leaned back, keeping her bokken in one hand. With her other, she checked Haku's pulse. Her head ached, and she was fighting back the demons that so often threatened to swallow her alive.
"Haku?" She leaned forward, gently tapping his cheek. "Ha... Haku?"
