Lorelai sent Haku a simple email, requesting he meet her in one of the private training rooms, and then left her desk to go set everything up. Hopefully, he was healed up enough to handle a little training session.
Dressing in her usual training gear - a comfortable, malleable black fabric that clung to her like a second skin - and grabbing a bokkun about the same size as her usual sword, she cleared the middle of the room. All of the dummies were tucked up against the walls, the mats were put away, and the array of practice weapons were carefully placed in their holders.
She sat near the door, her knees tucked up against her chest, and her cheek resting against one knee... looking utterly bored as she waited.

Haku would show up in his standard issue uniform. And greet Lorelai with a smile.
"Ah, how are you doing today?"
He would ask knowing he wasn't going to get much in the way of words as a response.
"I saw you're email, whats up?"

She gave a one shouldered shrug, then stood up. Motioning with one hand for him to follow her, Lorelai led the way to the middle of the room. She turned around to face him, bokken in one hand.
Her pink eyes gleamed as she stared at him, looking him up and down.
"You're rusty."

Haku was caught slightly off guard.
"Ah, I see..."
He wouldn't turn down the training though. He would pull out his baton.
"Alright. Want me to start?"

She cocked a brow at him, remaining in her totally relaxed posture. She took a deep breath.
Give a man a fish... She almost cracked a smile at the thought. Almost. Benevolence. Love for others. Protect those you love... Benevolence.
Lorelai gave Haku a single nod of her head, focusing on watching how he moved in order to predict his attack.

However, if her faith in her Bushido fails, or if she fails to uphold her Bushido she will lose her bonus and take a -5 Per

Haku took stance with his baton out in front of him with his other hand at the ready. He slowly approached. Eyeing her stance, a formidable fortress as usual. He would go for a fake swing to he left side but dropped it hit her leg!

Lorelai moved with her typical speed, her strongest suit, and simply held out her bokken to block his attack. Given that it was the same length as her usual blade, it easily covered the entire side of her body.
She cocked a brow at him, her only warning before she swung with such speed, it was almost shocking. Her aim was simple: she wanted to hit his exposed shoulder. It was a simple move, meant to show him that a fakeout left him open to an attack.
She put very little force behind it, not wanting to actually hurt him, but the speed alone would cause a sting if her attack managed to succeed.

He tried to move but she was just to fast and got hit in the shoulder, he would hiss and wince but he would use the length of her bokken against her by stepping towards her, hoping to make it harder for her to recover as he attempted to hit her with her with his baton on her ribs!

Very suddenly, Lorelai reached out with her free hand to grab ahold of the baton as he swung it, aiming for close to the base in an effort to keep him from releasing it. She yanked him towards her and twisted, hoping to send enough pain shooting through his arm to shock him for a moment.
Then, she would bring her other hand, the one that held the bokken, down to crack it into the middle of his back, with just enough force to send him to the ground. Her body would shift with the movement to keep him from landing on her and send him into the hard, unforgiving floor.

He hit the ground hard, he was expecting a normal training exercise, not a fight.
"What the hell, Lorelai?!"
He said frustrated.

She gave a fierce shake of her head and pointed her bokken at him, her pink eyes flashing.
"You've been training with these underlings, and its doing you no good. So, get up, Haku, and stop looking at me like an inferior."
She danced back a few steps, and slipped into a typical fighting stance, holding the hilt of the bokken with both hands, across her body.
"Get up and fight me."

Haku would get up with a grimace. She was right, he had gotten complacent, and his skills were no where close to what they used to be. Working a desk job hurt him a lot.
"Hmph. Alright. In that case. You first."
He would say as he got back into stance.

Lorelai rolled her eyes. At least he was taking her more seriously now. She would take a deep breath and remember exactly why she was doing this. Loyalty. Honor. She wanted to know he could defend himself if she wasn't around. They were soon to face an opponent unlike any they had ever faced, together or apart.
Her bokken was longer than his baton, which meant speed and reach were her strengths. She moved towards him at her typical speed, and aimed her bokken for his wrist. Disarming an opponent was always the smartest thing to do.

Haku would see her dart for him, but that was all he would be able to note as he just ran forward! His intent to jab the Baton into Lorelai's stomach!

She shifted to dodge his attack, which would also mean her own would miss. She kept moving for a couple of steps before turning around to face him, bokken at the ready again.
