Shiloh smiled softly and nodded. She released one of Adelaide's hands and reached up to gently stroke her cheek.
"Of course I promise, Adel. No matter what. And no matter what happens to one of us... We'll always find the other. Right?"

With that Adelaide couldn't stop herself as she leaned forward and kissed Shiloh! If Shiloh didn't push her away she would stay there for a moment before pulling back and blushing deeply.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't-"
But words were lost to her as she turned her head away unable to look her friend in the eyes. She couldn't handle rejection right now... she shouldn't have done that. She was an IDIOT!

Shiloh let Adelaide kiss her, though shock coursed through her entire body. She knew that her friend was in a vulnerable spot, and assumed that the kiss was just a sudden emotion, an overtaking of sorts. She hadn't ever been kissed before... not on the lips, anyway. She wasn't sure how she felt about it, or what she was even supposed to feel. It was just so... strange.
"Hey..." she murmured soothingly, her fingers dropping down to Adelaide's shoulders. She gently tugged, and if the girl would let her, wrapped her arms around her. The positioning was a little awkward, as Shiloh had her legs crossed and had to lean over quite a bit to do it. She smiled softly, no matter what Adelaide did.
"It's okay."

Adelaide this time didn't pull away from the touch this time wrapping her arms around Shiloh tightly. She didn't know what Shiloh was thinking and right now she didn't care. She just wanted to live in this moment without any thoughts, even if just for a moment.

Shiloh allowed her friend to cling to her, and she gently stroked her hair. She nuzzled her head into her friend's cheek, and murmured softly, "It'll be okay. It'll all be okay. No matter what."

Shiloh held her friend until her shaking began to subside, and then she whispered, softly, "Do you want to go to the guitar store? We can look at some, maybe find a really pretty one. I love listening to you play."

She would stay holding Shiloh for a few more minutes before nodding.
"That... that would be great. I'd love to do that."

Shiloh smiled again, and leaned back to wipe any tears off of Adelaide's face.
"Then come on. Let's get you cleaned up, and we can go."
