Lorelai rarely left the bunker unless accompanying Haku, but it was near Christmas time, and she had things to do. The soldier wandered a bit aimlessly through the Market, careful to avoid accidentally touching anyone. She hadn't managed to find any shops that interested her, or any trinkets that stood out. Christmas was, in her opinion, one of the most difficult times of the year.
She sighed softly to herself, running her fingers delicately along the sword at her hip. She had her TSI ID with her, which allowed her to openly carry her weapon... and her katana kept most curious people at bay.

Dj was out and about once again. Doing his signature cartoon art and tea run. The recent trend of him noticing someone lost and feeling compelled to help is also reoccurring today. Though this time with a TSI agent wielding a Katana. He would approach cautiously, keeping a fair distance between himself and her while still being close enough to say "Hey, need help finding somewhere." His warm, feminine tone being as welcoming and calm as possible.

Lorelai turned her head sharply and looked the stranger over. A brow cocked. Most people weren't brave enough to approach her, especially with her openly carrying a sword.
Her gaze was, shockingly... almost dead. There was no emotion, no interest or threat... just calm. Complete, almost monk-like calm. Most people were terrified of her stare, as it was unblinking, and not unlike the "thousand yard stare" of many battered war veterans.
She gave a simple shrug in response, not saying anything.

Hmm. Emotionless expression, shrug, sharp movements, Djoser knew this type well. He would giggle a little at her response saying "Look, you are wandering around aimlessly. Either this is your intention or you are wasting time when help could be the thing that helps efficiently use your time. It is your choice, but if you could use some help, I'd be glad to give it." He'd say with a warm smile.

Lorelai continued to stare at the tall.... male?.... person with that same blank expression. She took a deep breath, one that filled her chest and made her shoulders rise.... before letting it all out at once.
"I'm wandering aimlessly... because I don't know what I am looking for..." she said, her voice quiet and subdued.

Dj would nod, a common plight with the bored, but he assumed this was a bit more than boredom. "Do you have a specific kind of thing you're looking for? Or are you just wandering to clear your head?" He'd say with a sweet smile.

It was obvious she wasn't used to talking much, or elaborating on any of her points. She spent most of her time simply nodded or shaking her head, or shrugging. Talking took up effort, and that was... Well, better spent elsewhere, as far as she was concerned.

Lorelai fell into silent contemplation for a moment, staring off into the distance as she thought about all of the things she had learned about Haku, most without him ever saying a word.

"He... doesn't have a cat?" At least, she was fairly certain he didn't. He always had cat hair on his clothing, however... so maybe she should get him a lint roller or something. She wasn't sure.
