"Hmm." She turned back to look at the menu, and grinned. "I like the hazelnut coffee, black. Do you like sweet things, or more bitter?"

Cain doesn't even hesitate.
"Bitter."
Hmmmm. How telling. Although, now he's curious...
"Do you bring every stranger to a coffee shop with you?"

She gave a shake of her head.
"One large hazelnut, black please, and a large devil's brew." The woman smiled and took her order down, not needing to ask her name. Without hesitation, Shiloh handed over her card to pay.
"I don't, no, but you looked like you needed a friend... and I do typically take my friends to coffee shops." She smiled at Cain as she took her card back and led him off to one side to wait for their drinks.

"...ah."
Well. Now he felt a little worse about his attitude.
Cain nods, suddenly becoming very aware of the fact that he wasn't sure what money he was supposed to be using, and follows once again, standing to the side.
"...I appreciate it..."
It's basically a mumble.

"Of course! Its really no problem. I hope you like it. Since you said bitter, I got a cup of one of the stronger ones... but if you don't like it, you can have mine."
She smiled at him, folding her hands together in front of herself and looking back towards the counter as they waited for their coffee.
"Were you serious about wanting to open up your own weapons store?"

"I'm sure it'll be fine."
He says, still somewhat trying to work through how weird this was. Cain's only really been exposed to two types of girls: the ones who intimidate him, and the ones who are intimidated by him. Someone who isn't part of either of those categories is really throwing him off.
"I was. I've done blacksmithing before, as well as woodworking, so I could make a variety of different weapons. I don't know how these people have gone so long without them."
This man has never seen a gun before.

She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders. As a general rule, she avoided violence with a fiery passion. She hadn't ever held a gun or a sword, and she managed to make it out alright.
"It takes a lot of money to start up a store like that, but you might be able to talk to Xapham. He might know more about how you could do that."
It would either be him, or the TSI, and she had a feeling they wouldn't be interested in allowing a Meta access to weapons making.

"Do you know where he is?"
He asks, frowning a little. Cain doesn't really like going for help that much, but... times are tough, apparently.
"I don't mind asking him about it. And maybe it'll be a place for people like us to actually go."
Like a hang out spot! With... blades...

She nodded.
"I can take you there once we get our coffees, if you'd like."

“Sure, if you’re up to it.”
He shrugs.
“Maybe he knows more about how to get back, too.”

She nodded. She still wasn't totally sure if she wanted to go back, but if he wanted to... she had no reason to try to stop him.
Right as she was about to say something, her name was called. She jumped up and went to grab the two cups of hot coffee. Grinning, she thanked the lady, and then returned to Cain, holding out his.
"Perfect timing," she said with a smile. "Come on. Let's go. Xapham's isn't too far from here."

She's more energetic than Cain gave her credit for, and he goes to follow a little, taking the coffee from her hand.
"Thanks."
He says, nodding in response.
"We don't have to go if you don't want to. I can visit him on my own time."
He shrugs nonchalantly, taking a small sip and frowning at how hot it is.

She held her cup with both hands, giving a slight shake of her head. She was still smiling.
"Its fine. I can show you the way. Xapham is actually fairly kind, and I hope he can help you."
She began to move towards the exit, still cradling her cup.
"You should tell me more about your status. As a God? I'd like to know more. I didn't have the opportunity to learn much back home."

"I'm sure he will."
Maybe. Possibly. They'll find out, apparently.
Cain follows, taking another sip.
"Well, as a War God, I get empowered by conflict. Truth be told, I didn't stick around Mount Olympus long enough to learn all my duties, but from what I know, I mostly need to consult with the other Greek Gods, especially Ares, as he's the major God of War for the Greek Gods."
He shrugs slightly.
"Mostly, I've learned to use my God Right, and some of the process of making a God."

"What's a God Rite?" she asked curiously as they walked, her attention split between looking Cain in the eye and observing their surroundings.
There was nothing truly threatening about Shiloh: not her posture, her behavior, or even the way she looked at him. She seemed to glow with a sort of innocence that most people lost as they grew up.
