That Lovely Smell (Dj)

[Djoser Aneksi]

Dj would smile and hum along with her, harmonizing. He wasn't a singer by any means, but he had pretty good pitch and his voice was naturally very warm and pretty.

She was just like she used to be... Though he was somehow more sure something horrible had happened. He had to cast the thought out of his mind to stop the glow in his eyes and the rising of his hair.

"So, do you know why you were in the hospital?"

[Xowie Evil]

She shook her head and frowned.

"I don't know... I remember they all looked really concerned, though. Maybe they didn't even know!" She giggled behind her hand, then wrapped her arms around her back, swaying her torso from side to side while they walked.

She wasn't familiar with this area, but she was captivated by the scenery, even though most would probably consider it dull, boring, and completely uninteresting.

"Huh..." was all he had to say. He would notice that Xowie seemed to like the scenery, so he would take a longer, more scenic route to their destination.

"As long as you're happy now, I'm happy."

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie nodded, that deceptive smile of hers almost as bright as her eyes. She swiveled her head around to admire all the scenery, her wide eyes carefully scanning over every little thing. If it was there, or could be imagined, she could find beauty in it.

And then, when she had her fit of scenery, she tilted her head at Dj. His natural beauty really popped with their surroundings.

“You’re so pretty.”

Dj would look over quietly. When she spoke he would give a calm smile.

"Thank you. Coming from someone as pretty as yourself, that is quite the compliment."

She really was like a beautiful doll. That compliment almost disarmed the emotions brewing inside him.

Almost...

[Xowie Evil]

Xowie giggled behind her hand before tying her arms behind her back again.

“You’re too sweet,” She beamed, continuing her graceful sway.

“Where are you taking us?”

He would give a big smile at that.

"Anything for an old friend. We are going to my favorite place to eat. They have great Thai food and bubble tea."

[Xowie Evil]

"Beautiful!" She clapped her hands together, then allowed them to sway by her sides as she waddled down the sidewalk.

Dj would giggle, leading Xowie off into the market and to the Thai restaurant. Once there he would smile at turn on his heel to face her.

"This is the place!"

Xowie stopped in her tracks when Dj turned around, her wide eyes scanning all around the place... it was mesmerizing, the authentic culture, and it brought a smile to her face.

"I love it!" She beamed, clapping her hands together again.

"Shall we go?" She tilted her head and held a hand out for him to take, smiling wildly.

He would smile and take her hand gently with a bow. He would lead her to the entrance and ask if Xowie wanted to be inside or outside.

Then, after sitting down he would ask "Do you know much about Thai food?"

Xowie followed Dj inside, opting for the outdoor setting when offered, and swiveled her head wildly to take in all of the beautiful scenery surrounding them while they were guided to their table.

She sat down gracefully, with a hint of formality, and crossed her arms over the table with a smile, her elbows neatly propped on the table with her head resting over folded hands.

When asked about Thai food, she tilted her head and blushed slightly.

"I don't think so, but Thai culture is very beautiful." She peeped.

Dj would smile and giggle.

"Indeed, it is. I only ask because the food is very intense flavor wise. Usually very spicy. So if you have any questions feel free to ask me."

He would look on with a big smile, sitting up straight and giving his focus to Xowie.

Xowie nodded.

"I like spicy food, do you have any recommendations?"

She asked sweetly with a tilt of her head. She was willing to try anything if it sounded even remotely appealing.

Dj would point out a few on the menu, explaining each of them thoroughly. He would then stop and ask

"So, how have the past few weeks been?" He'd ask, trying to ask a "how have things been?" but not knowing how to phrase it.
