Shiloh seemed oblivious to Adelaide's discomfort, her green eyes alight with excitement.
"It's a friend date," she said, in response to what Adelaide said. She tilted her head to one side and smiled. "We try to go on them pretty regularly, as much as we can. It's been a little harder, with me working and my volunteer work, so this is actually the first one we've gotten to go on in a little while."
She turned back to her friend, reaching out to brush her fingertips lightly across Adelaide's shoulder. Her smile faded slightly as she caught sight of the blush.
"Are you feeling okay, Adel? You're flushed."

Nova covers her mouth with her hand in amusement, trying to hide the knowing smile.
"Ah, right. Friend date. Still counts."
She wanders over to a table on the diner side, figuring since they hadn't picked one out yet, they might not really mind where they are. She straightens out a tablecloth and motions to the table.
"Feel free to have a seat. What do you two like to drink? Water? Soda? Wine~?"

She said as she spun around to walk to their table. Adelaide could feel they eyes in the room were on her now and she was not expecting it!
"Soda would be great! Root Beer if you've got it..."

Shiloh followed after Adelaide, settling down across the table from her. She looked up at the woman with the cat ears, having to force herself not to get lost staring at them again. They were just so COOL.
"Do you have coffee? That would be great."

"Root beer and coffee." Nova nods in understanding before disappearing into the back for a little while. Mostly to let the two girls have a moment.
As she's pulling out cups she looks at Daniel.
"Well, we can't go out there singing a song like it's a birthday but it feels like a waste not to surprise them with SOMETHING." she'd whisper to him.
"Ideas?"

Shiloh was smiling nearly ear to ear, looking around at how they had designed the place. Obviously, they had put a lot of thought into everything.
"Do you think they would let us hold socials here? Something to bring the entire community together. I could pay them for it, but it would be SUCH a good way to bring people together!"

Shiloh couldn't help the little giggle that escaped her lips.
"I mean, I get paid okay, but most of my money goes to that person." She never called the hacker by name, but hoped Adelaide would understand what she meant. Her blog was very important to her, even if she had neglected it as of late. "That, and rent of course. Maybe we could split the bill? How much do you think they'd charge us for something like that?"

"I got it, you're busy." Nova would say, picking up her tray of drinks and making her way back to the table. She caught the tail end of Shiloh's question.
"An arm and a leg, I'm sure." she jokes. She has no idea what the context is. Either way, she places down the drinks with a small basket of cream, milk and sugars for however Shiloh wants to make her coffee.
