Come to Prota! (open)

[Shiloh]

"Mhmm!" She said as she took another bite of the soup. "The coffee is so good here, too. It might beat that hazelnut coffee I usually get from that one shop."

[Novocaine]

Nova keeps piping away, glancing up at Daniel.

"Whaddya think?"

[Gunslinger]

"I think we're getting a lot more friendly customers than I originally assumed."

He says, pulling out some pans to preheat them.

"I didn't expect we'd find that outside of Prota."

[Adelaide]

"Really?"

Adelaide said with a raised eyebrow. That was High marks coming from her. She had insisted on drinking only that coffee from that shop for years. Only occasionally drinking coffee at other locations to see if it matched up.

"Well, I'll be damned. Might actually have to give coffee her a shot."

She lied, knowing full well she would never drink that bitter shit.

[Shiloh]

Shiloh nodded, turning her smile towards the half cup of coffee that she had left. She knew that Adelaide would never try it, and she had accepted that her friend simply did not share her tastes... but it was a nice sentiment.

"Do you think they'd let me get a cup to go? Or maybe stop in here and get one in the mornings, before I go to work? It's kind of between home and the office, don't you think?"

Not really. It wasn't in the exact opposite direction, but she would definitely be going out of her way.

[Novocaine]

"This is good for us." She'd nod, stopping and looking down at the cake.

"I think I'm ready. You?"

[Gunslinger]

"You think so?"

He asks, lifting an eyebrow.

"Yes. I think I'm ready too."

[Adelaide]

Adelaide rolled her eyes. There was no way that this was convenient spot for her to get coffee regularly in the morning. However it was between her place and Shiloh's work...

"I... think we can work something out I'm sure."

This meant she would have to get up in the morning! Ugh...

[Shiloh]

Shiloh was grinning from ear to ear, and eventually returned to her coffee. She had finished about half of her soup, which she felt was a fair amount, before she held the cup between her hands and sipped the still warm brew. She hummed her approval, closing her eyes.

"I really do like this place. And these people! They're really nice, and they've worked so hard to make something out of nothing... I want to do whatever I can to help support them and this dream they've built, Adel."

[Novocaine]

Nova glances over at the two girls then looks back at Daniel.

"I don't think they're done the bisque yet."

[Gunslinger]

"We'll give them a minute."

Daniel chuckles.

"Sometimes you need to savor the moment."

[Adelaide]

"Love, you want to save every cat in a tree and every grumpy old man. I'm not the least bit surprised you want to help these two as well."

She chuckled and shook her head.

"But even still, I know what you mean."

[Shiloh]

"And she has meow meow ears," Shiloh whispered, her eyes widening slightly. "I... kind of wish I had meow meow ears...."

[Novocaine]

"They're a bit of a hassle." Nova would suddenly call out towards the girls.

"Really hard to tune anything out. Could hear a pin drop, you know?"

[Gunslinger]

Daniel can't help but laugh at that.

He hadn't caught what they'd said, but apparently Nova had!
