For every one she saved another 3 would go down, even as she turned around she would see people just save die at the culling of the chains. They were ruthless in their destruction wrapping themselves around Mt Olympus itself. She could see the signs of battle happening on the top... but it did not look like they were winning...

So the people couldn't be saved.
But maybe the Gods could.
As much as she hated to leave these people, it was apparent staying here much longer would only prolong the inevitable at very best. So she'd head for the mountain.

As she head for the mountain there would be large rumbling and the ground would shake like an earthquake, making it difficult for her to keep running threatening to knock her down!

Is it just everywhere? She'd try to go around if it seemed to be concentrated in one spot. Otherwise she slows down but tries to keep moving forward.

The decision to slow down as a good one as in front of here the ground would crumble and fall revealing a chasm from which more chains would shoot out from all heading for Olympus.

"Whoa!" she'd exclaim, looking to go around it but grabbing a rock at the same time.
So far no one seemed to have figured out how to deal with those things, but she had to try something. She'd try to hit one of the chains with the rock.

There was no noticeable opening yet, and the rock would hit the chains and turn to ash! There might be an opening head, she couldn't be to sure! However, if she timed it right and got a enough of a start she might MIGHT be able to jump in between the chains to the other side....

About what she expected. Annoying, still.
If there was no way through but that, it seemed she didn't have a choice. She'd do her best to time her run and jump to get through!

Kaia would make it through a small gap just in time for the hole to filled with another chain shooting out! However the rumbling would get louder and if she looked up at Olympus it would look like the chains were wrapping around the mountain squeezing into it like a snake constricting it's prey! The mountain would begin to crack!

"What the hell?!" she'd ask incredulously, not wanting to get closer yet if it was about to smash apart. That doesn't mean it was the end for the Gods up there...but she might need to wait for that to settle before making her way up.
How fast was it cracking?

It was slow to build but with each passing moment more chains found themselves wrapping around the mountain and with each added chain the mountain would get weaker and faster and faster!

At the base of the Mountain she would make out what looked like two people a tall skinny guy with blond hair and a short girl with black hair and a giant sword as tall and wide as she was.
