She might recognize them from their infamy alone, as Don Thor's Son, and Cindy Loki's Daughter. The two were inseparable and dangerous when working together.

Don held up fist.
"EXACTLY! WE NEED TO FIGHT!"
He would yell. Cin would just sigh and shake her head.
"If we fight we will definitely die. Don you should know this better than the dumb chick."
She would turn to face Kaia.
"Listen miss gung hoe. Unless you are stronger than one of the named ones."
She would say pointing up.
"Then your contribution here is less than useless. At best you're a distraction, at worst a hindrance. Either way you will die and it will amount to nothing."

Kaia would glared down at the girl.
"Don't fucking talk down to me, bitch. You don't know shit about me, so go piss yourself and run if you want. I don't expect anyone to look out for me. I'm not jumping in anyone's fucking way. If I die trying to keep this all from falling apart then that's worth more to me than surviving and being able to do nothing afterwards. You're going to escape and then what? Die out there anyway? Sit back and watch the world fall apart and then pat yourself on the back on a job well done doing jack shit? Good for you!"
As usual, she couldn't spend two second near someone without them attacking her in some way. No wonder she was the way she was.

Taking the steps she would make it up to the top just in time to see Thor trying to run away only to be turned to ash as a chain wrapped itself around him. The carnage that lay before her was crippling as ash and corpses littered the ground it was obvious to anyone that any battle that had been waged here was long over, and it wasn't a win. It was at this time that the ground trembled and shook and finally the mountain would give way the ground crushed beneath her feet and Kaia would fall down and down and down... being swallowed by darkness. The last thing she would see would be chains. She would feel sharp intense pain all over her body as she was turned to ash.
After a few moments Kaia would wake up to her mom walking into her room.
"Oh for goodne- Kaia! Get up and get ready! We're going to be late for the ceremony!"
She would say with a huff as she left the room. Kaia would note that it wasn't her room on the new world but her room in the Old World, she was HOME.

Ugh...what the hell?!
She sits up, letting her mind catch up with everything. Another dream? Premonition?
Going out means having to face her parents again, then.
Kaia gets up, staying in her pajamas and hopping out of her window.

Kaia hops out the window to come face to face with her dad!
"Really. The window? Ya know, when I saw you escaping this morning when I woke up, I thought for sure my eyes were acting up and yet here you are. In your pajamas."
He shook his head in disappointment.

It's fine. She waited too long, right? If she heads over there immediately, climbs the mountain and warns them ahead of time, they won't be caught unawares!
