Let's Go, Beaches (Open)

[Katsu]

Having been traveling for so long, it felt weird to be trapped in just one city. As a result, Katsu had opted to vary his training environments as often as possible.

Now, he's standing waist-high in water, clad in just some swimtrunks, and swiping a six foot katana through the waves as they come in!

[Leif Adamson]

Leif wandered the beach aimlessly, as she often did whenever she had some time off. Most people still avoided the beaches as if they were plagued, but she enjoyed the solitary adventure. It comforted her. Tucking her hands into the pockets of her army green jacket, she made her way to the edge of the waves.

She cocked a brow before calling out, "Is that doing you any good?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian was there in what swimwear he felt.... comfortable in without being too exposed. A towel under one arm with an umbrella over a shoulder and a big glob of sunscreen on his nose. Because he would burn.

"Holy! Is that a real Katana!?"

HE. LOVED. SWORDS.

[Katsu]

"It's helping a little."

Katsu responds, not looking back just yet. He brings his blade down again, cutting the wave in half before turning around.

"It's good resistance. And the cold helps too."

He nods appreciatively towards the woman, then glances towards the man in swimwear. Katsu holds his blade up, letting Cillian see it a little better from where he is.

"It is. It's one of the two I managed to bring with me to this city."

Leif glanced over at Cillian, offering him a nod in greeting. She turned back towards the man in the water and tilted her head to one side. She was very careful not to go any closer to the waves, but continued to watch from where she was.

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian would move in, shifting his stuff as he leaned in to get a closer look. Offering the lady a small wave with his freeish hand.

"Oh snap! That's from home! Sixty-three right? Those are rare to see outside of their clansmen and women."

Generally only taken from their dead.

[Katsu]

Well, if he wanted a closer look, Katsu had no issue with that.

He walks closer out of the water, heading towards shore while keeping the blade held out horizontally.

"It is. It was one of the few items I was allowed to keep before being... sent away."

And he didn't mean to the Ark.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif cocked a brow at the redhead. So, they were both from the old world. That was interesting, at the very least. She took a single step back as the other man approached, not wanting to risk getting wet.

She nodded her appreciation towards the blade, her gaze lingering on it for a moment as she examined it from a distance.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Oh!" His voice was filled with excitement before the second part of his comment hit home. "Oh...."

That was... rough. She shifted uncomfortably in his spot.

"It's fine craftsmanship. A blade to rival those made back home I'd wager."

Though not surpass it. He had nothing but respect for their swordsmiths back home in Camelot. Glancing back to Leif with another smile he'd motion to the blade.

"Are you a swordswoman too?"

[Qi Yanmei]

Leif would suddenly feel a chin press down on her shoulder lightly.

"Aww, isn't it boring over here all alone? Just go over!"

[Katsu]

"I'm pleased to see you can recognize it."

Katsu nods with a smile.

"Where do you call home?"

He glances at the woman again, unable to keep from sighing at Yanmei's antics already.

Leif jumped as soon as she felt somebody's chin on her shoulder. She turned quickly, her hands pulling out of her pockets and raising in a defensive gesture, lightning seeming to spark between her fingertips before they took the form of a long, simple stiletto dagger. It solidified in her hand and she held it up, as if expecting to get attacked, her eyes wide for a moment. She seemed to forget the two men, looking for the source of whoever had managed to startle her.

Zero Ability: She can create electrical-magnetic bladed weapons. The entire length of the weapon is sharp enough to cut. Each blade does 75% of her energy stat in damage.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Camelo-"

His words were cut off by the sudden surge of Qi and the blade and electricity that seemed to spring up in the girl's hand. Dropping the towel and tightening his grip on the umbrella out of instinct he'd hold up his hand.

"Easy now. No need to get violent."

Let's try and diffuse things first...

[Qi Yanmei]

It was a definitely human girl!

Who was maybe floating a few inches off the ground.

Yanmei keeps her hands up in a sign of peace, trying to show she wasn't going to attack or anything. Then glancing down like she just realized she was floating and slowly lowering to touch the ground.

"There's really no need!" she agrees with Cillian.

[Katsu]

Katsu dashes through the water, sprinting to put himself between Yanmei and the other woman, sword held in a defensive posture.

He hadn't even thought about it, it was just reflex the moment he perceived any danger.
