Let's Go, Beaches (Open)

[Leif Adamson]

Leif stared at the girl for a moment, as she lowered herself back down, before her gaze flickered to the swordsman before her. She slowly began to relax her posture, holding her hands up to either side of her face. The blade flickered for a moment, before dissolving into little lightning bolts between her fingertips. Once it was gone, she slowly lowered her hands back into her pockets.

"Sorry," she said, simply, before turned her gaze back to the girl he was protecting. "You... startled me."

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian would relax with the blade lowering.

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would give an uncomfortable laugh before pulling herself up behind Katsu to peer past his shoulder.

"My, my. I'm sorry. I guess not everyone appreciates the proximity. You startled me too, we'll call it even."

[Katsu]

Katsu... semi-lowers his blade.

He's pretty highly strung, especially around people who can just make weapons out of nothing.

"...no harm, no foul, right?"

[Leif Adamson]

She offered a nod to the girl, turning her attention to the boy that protected her. She kept her hands in her pockets, relaxing her shoulders and consciously making her posture as non-threatening as possible.

"Right," she said, and gave a little half smile. "Nice ears." There was no sarcasm or insincerity in her tone. She was trying to give the girl a compliment, to apologize slightly for her earlier, brash behavior.

[Cillian McWolfe]

He breathed a small sigh of relief.

"A Qi sprite? It's nice to meet you."

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would gasp, flying over to Cillian and plastering her hand on his mouth.

"Hmm? What did you say?" she'd ask him, even though she's stopping him from talking.

"Ahahaha! Yes my ears! When I was born a human from my human mother, my ears pressed so tightly against my head during the birthing process that they stretched! Now the blood won't reach the tips so they're tinted blue! It's so sad! But they still make me look adorable." she sighs dramatically.

[Katsu]

Katsu facepalms.

Hard.

[Leif Adamson]

Leif cocked a brow slightly at her antics, and couldn't help but smile slightly. She chuckled and gave a shake of her head.

"And the floating. It's because you're just so light-hearted, right?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

Cillian unleashes his technique to get out of someone covering his mouth. He licks her palm!

[Qi Yanmei]

"Why ye-OHHH~!"

Yanmei's hand doesn't move from his face, but the action does cause a full-body shiver.

"Oh myyy~! What an interesting sensation~!" she giggles, blushing a bit.

[Katsu]

"...what are you doing."

Katsu frowns, not sure he likes where this is going.

Leif tilted her head to one side, glancing between the swordsman and the others. She assumed, from his protective stance, that he was the one who knew her personally. That much was obvious... as well as the fact that the other man was a stranger to both of them. She wasn't entirely sure what was happening, so she simply stayed quiet, keeping her hands in her pockets and her posture as non-threatening as possible.

[Cillian McWolfe]

Well he did NOT expect that. So he'd stop and try and step back!

[Qi Yanmei]

Stepping back frees him for sure.

Yanmei just looks down at her palm, like she's trying to understand the significance of what just happened.

"Heheheh~ He licked my hand!"

She has never in her 11 years of existence had that happen. It was a thrilling experience.
