Let's Go, Beaches (Open)

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei shakes her head.

"No, I think I just sort of...popped out of him!"

That's her assumption anyway, since resting requires her to return to his body.

[Katsu]

"She's been my companion ever since we... left."

He says tactfully, nodding.

"You don't have that sort of person?"

He asks Leif, since she seemed to hint at perhaps not having that, herself.

[Leif Adamson]

She gave a shake of her head, but her little half smile remained.

"Nah, not me."

She could have said more, but talking about her squad seemed... wrong, at this point.

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Like... from his mouth?"

Or somewhere else? Cillian asked Yanmei wide eyed. He needed to know if she came out of his butt or something, but could never be so crass as to just ask that.

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei starts laughing hysterically!

"Ohhhh, you're really funny!"

Such an odd question.

"Hmm. I think perhaps I slid out from his nose." she lies. It's probably obvious.

Then again.

[Katsu]

"That's a shame. I'm sure that'll change at some point."

Katsu gives her a small smile.

Then furrows his brow at Yanmei's teasing with Cillian.

"....Mei-Mei, please..."

[Leif Adamson]

Leif nodded at him, before turning her attention to the others as well. She chuckled softly, wishing she could think of something witty to say. She seemed content to just watch their antics

[Cillian McWolfe]

"Well it wouldn't be the weirdest thing I'd seen."

He'd say with a snicker, deciding to go along with the teasing. Even if he still wanted to know what actually happened. But it was a fun beach day, so he wasn't gonna stress any of the small stuff.

[Qi Yanmei]

Yanmei would turn to look at Katsu and shrug.

"Well, are you saying it wasn't like that~?"

[Katsu]

"Really, that's disgusting."

Katsu sighs in exasperation!

"I'm sure it was much more elegant than that."

Even if he doesn't remember how it happened.

[Leif Adamson]

Ah. So he wasn't entirely sure, either. Leif contemplated how exactly it might work.

"Do you guys... combine again? Or are you always separated?"

[Cillian McWolfe]

"You don't remember it happening?"

He'd scratch the back of his head. That was way different from his experience.

[Qi Yanmei]

"I can be apart from Katsu until I get killed. Then I go back to his body until I'm healed. I also can't be far from him. It's almost like I'm tethered in some way." she chuckles.

[Katsu]

"I don't remember. It was... sudden."

Katsu admits.

"She can also enter whenever she wishes."

[Leif Adamson]

Leif nodded, falling silent as she contemplated the implications of their connection.
