Oh no... there was no way a the Uber driver would come if he saw this shit. Damn it all, Dj was going to have to fight. He would summon his ring and try to land an attack at the back of one of the beasts. Djoser summons a ring blade made of illusory magic. It’s cuts aren't real, but that just means it can cut deeper and in ways nobody expects. The first time it hits a target, it deals 125% of his energy as damage. Afterwards if his energy is higher or equal to the foe's perception it deals 100% energy as damage. If the foe's perception is higher, it deals 75% of his energy as damage.

Gidget and WR would find themselves quickly surrounded by the hungry looking hell hounds! Dime would get close before find herself cut off from the two as one of the hounds got between her and the beasty's surrounding the little people.
Nova would hear the sounds of bone breaking as the towel snapped the hounds paw that was swiping at civilians! It howled in agony! Daniel would successfully kill three and injure a fourth however a fifth creature leapt into the air was about to land on Daniel!
Soni would find herself cut off by two hounds looking at her student hungrily!
DJ’s attack would successfully cause one of the hounds to drop however it would draw the attention of two more!

Dj would step back and turn invisible, then go in to try and quickly dispel another with his ring. Zero Ability: Illusion ability. These are entirely harmless and are in the realm of invisibility, clones, noises, and images. Not in the realm of total terrain control, altering someone else's body, or stopping people from doing anything. You can see through it if your perception is higher than Dj’s energy

"Dime!" Gidget called out to the woman. "WR. We have to get to Dime."
With that, Gidget moved so she was back to back with her lover, and narrowed her eyes at the nearest beast. If any got close to her, she would step forward with a series of quick slashes, before backing up to protect WR's blind side.

WR threw their head over their shoulder to see where Dime was. They could get to her, but it wouldn’t be easy. “Right,” they growled, holding their staff in front of them defensively.
“Come on, eat me motherfucker!” They snapped at the closest hound, slamming the staff into its side and attempting to impale it through its stomach if they managed to stagger it with the first blow.

Soni covered herself in a vortex of sound and energy, and charged at them! One would get a sound blast to the face, the other a fist!

She didn’t face down the beast yet. Her body started a soft misty glow that looked like a cool light reflecting off snow. She raised her hands not wanting to provoke the beast starring her down. She opened a path to the creatures mind not knowing what she’d find but she’d want to send off some calm feelings of her own to try and ease the creature.

With the person saved, Nova would fish out a knife.
Because knives are also part of Nova's day-to-day outfits. Especially at the beach.
She chucks the knife for the dog's head, looking to finish it off.

Daniel throws himself backwards, trying to get out of the way of the flying dog, before blasting with both pistols at it to push it away!

Dj Would be able to dispatch another hound, however, three would turn their attentions towards him, as if they knew exactly where he was...
WR and Gidget would be successful in protecting themselves, but they wouldn't be making much ground as it seemed for everyone they dispatched two more would take it's place! They needed to do something quick or they would be over run!
Soni would easily dispatch the two she attacked and successfully stop two more from getting her... however, her students weren't so lucking as two kids were each snatched by a hound! Once the hounds had the kids they would run back to the portals!
Dime would be able to keep some of the hounds at bay as they were contemplating how to deal with her surrounding herself with snow! However would Dime tried to open her mind to send thoughts of comfort she would be BOMBARDED with feelings of rage, hate, and hunger. She would also get a flash of something else, she could quite tell what, but it was large, and she could almost feel like it was looking at her... However, she would be able to resist being completely overrun by those feeling, but was difficult to fight back against! Dime would note that several civilians on the beach would being collected and taken back though the portal!
Nova's knife would hit home kill the hound and it drop dead as the person it was attacking would get up and run away! However their screaming attracted another hound which would turn to see that Nova had just killed one of it's own! It would roar and charge for Nova!
Daniel would successfully kill the beast however the push back from the pistol's would've been enough to keep the hound from landing on him if he hadn't tripped over a sand castle that a kid had made! The hound would land on him with a heavy thud! He could hear the sounds of more feet pounding the sand heading towards him!

Nova's ears would twitch at the sound of another hound coming at her, recalling the knife and spinning to throw it at the new dog.
And maybe giving a slight hiss.

Gidget knew they were getting too close for them to be able to escape for much longer. She meshed her teeth tightly together, and heard Drake loudly shouting at her in her head that her idea was dumb, that she wasn't ready... but she didn't have a choice.
"I'm going to run. You blast a hole. Let's get to Dime." She said over her shoulder, to WR. "Light 'em up, Sparky."
And with that, she ran, once more using her speed above much else. She lashed out with her knife, slashing at the hound right in front of her in an attempt to get away from WR enough to be safe from their flames. She attacked a second, before assuming she was far enough away.
"LIGHT IT UP!" she shouted, as she kept moving.

This Hand Cannon is modeled after the canons used in the Defense of Blackwater. Every trigger squeeze fires from three barrels unloading a massive energy ball the size of a person almost six feet in diameter. WR threw their head over their shoulder, catching glimpse of Gidget's face as she spoke her plan. They nodded in acknowledgement, and turned back to the beasts in front of them, baring their teeth as they retracted the staff and shoved it into their pocket. They backpedaled slightly, waiting for Gidget to put some distance between them before completely igniting into bright orange flames! A flash of light shot down their arm into their palm, and at her word, they curved a fireball around her and into the face of a hound, hopefully opening up a path for them to escape. They would speed out behind her, sending fists and feet flying for the heads of every hound that got near them! Second Skin: WR's body is set ablaze into visible energy, appearing as fire, which creates an afterimage that repeats all of their physical actions at a one second delay. The afterimage burns whatever it touches, dealing 100% ENG as damage. The fire changes colors based on their emotions. Additionally, they gain 50% immunity to all fire based effects. This ability can set fire to certain objects or materials.
Fireball: WR channels heat to a desired part of their body and sets it ablaze. While activated, they can hurl fire from the chosen place, dealing 100% ENG as damage. This ability can set fire to certain objects or materials. |

Dime saw Gidget out of the corner of her eye she hadn’t broken eye contact with the pup directly in front of her yet but she raised a hand as her body faded its snow like glow.
“Wait!” She called to Gidget. “Save the people and keep the portal open!” She lowered her arms and placed them in her front interlocking her fingers and stood straight as if almost trying to hold a low prayer. She left herself vulnerable... entirely and wholly. She sent suggested thoughts to the creature to take her like it was supposed to do.
