Dj would allow the invisibility to drop. If they knew where he was, then it would be better to make himself as well noticed as possible. He would take another swing at the hound closest too him and take a defensive stance. Ready to hold his ground and move back as far as neccessary.

"Keep going! Get out of here!" Soni shouted to the kids as she saw the two being pulled away. Dashing over there with two big leaps, Soni charged up the momentum into her right gauntlet. Once she got to the first kid-holding beast, she slammed her foot down on the beast's snout. Immediately grabbing it with her left hand, she would rip whatever grip it had left on the child by flinging around and throwing it toward the other beast. As soon as it left her hand, she would launch it farther by a blast from her arm's charged energy. And if that wasn't enough, she add to it with her own blast! Now that she had the smallest moment, she took the opportunity to focus on the portals. The fact that the creatures meant to retreat into them, meant they were two-way. So that was one thing, but she wanted to know more. Thus, she focused her sense on them, sifting through the sounds and feelings around her to see if she could find a frequency of the portals that she could exploit.
Qi uses: 8/20
Sonokinetic Launch: By projecting sound behind her, Soni pushes herself forward adding 1/2 her Eng in speed. She can also use it as a burst that sends her flying in whatever specified direction.

This porous metal gauntlet is used to amplify or absorb sound waves caused by Soni's arm's movements. The sound waves caused by the melody arm can then be manipulated and directed with Qi, causing more damage up to her energy in damage.

Force Sensitivity (UN-EVOLVED MUTATION): Your character is now sensitive to the flow of energy that makes up the universe. It can act as a danger sense, empathy check, or a guiding hand. The character must focus on the energy flow to gain any effects and the ability uses and gains UP normally.
Soni can now see an individual person's vibration signature at almost any distance giving her +10 Per.

Nova's knife would sink into the hounds head which would drop and slide to a stop right in front of Nova's feet it was now that she could see several people were be grabbed and dragged back to the portals!
Gidget and WR's combo attacks would succeed in thinning out the herd of hounds quite successfully leaving only two or three keeping their distance growling at them.
Daniel would hear the sound of another hound howling in agonizing pain but there were still feet heading for him!
Dime would feel pain as one of the nearby beast clutched her around the waist, it's claws digging into her as it ran for the portal with her in hand!
The two beast staring at DJ would keep their distance for now but they both starter to walk around him, as if searching for a weak spot! One would circle DJ's right, and the other his left.
No sooner than Soni saved the first two kids would another one get captured! Only one child successfully escaping the beach! However Soni would hear that the portals definitely had some sort of frequency that they were operating on and something about two portals sounded significantly more off than the others... as if something big was coming through...

Soni's heart pounded, her mind racing through ideas on what to do. Taking a quick deep breath, she realized her plan of action.
"V, toss me the sword."Veronica, who had been floating by Soni during the battle, obeyed the command. As the sword left Veronica's hand, it expanded until it landed in Soni's hands. Now perfect for her size, the young instructor slashed the air, creating three birds made from ink. They were a creation of Soni's own mind; the body of a hawk, the head of a mocking bird, and the plumage of a blue jay. One flew to each of the kids she had just saved, the last divebombed straight for the beast that pulled the last endangered child. As the birds deployed, the young woman closed her eyes and focused on the portals, and in her mind matched the frequency that she could feel. Once she felt ready, she sent to blasts, one to each portal, their frequency the same as the portals'. She kept her senses open to the portals, however, so she could feel its response to her sound. Qi uses: 11/20
Veronica is able to give Soni her sword to slash the air leaving behind the ink like markings that take the shapes of animals that she uses to attack (These deal 120% of Soni's Eng in Dmg) (Soni can create up to 4 Animals before the sword disappears)

Gidget cursed as she saw the beast grab ahold of Dime. "WR!" She screamed, and then went chasing after the beast that had her friend. She paused only long enough to stab at one of the hounds, and then sprinted. If the beast was going to take Dime through the portal... she was going too.

WR practically broke their neck looking over to Gidget as she screamed their name. And then, they caught sight of Dime, and their eyes widened in horror. The hound was close to the portal, and there was no doubt in their mind that going through that portal meant an inescapable death. "Son of a--" They growled, pausing briefly, and instinctively ripped the jacket off, howling in pain as its charges jolted through them. Then, they ran as fast as they could toward the hound that had Dime, effortlessly lunging their entire body into the air! They slammed onto its spine with everything they had, hoping it would either die, or turn its attention to them. They bared their teeth and threw their head over to Dime. "GO! GET OUT OF HERE!" They growled, another flash of light shooting into their palm, they punched another hound in the head, the fireball discharging at the impact. "Come on! That all you got!?" Unnamed Dragon Coat: -20 Eng, -20 Spd
This Apprentice Coat is a symbol of being Leon The Lightning Dragons Apprentice. It is weighted for training purposes to make every movement a struggle, as the philosophy of a Dragon is to embrace conflict to promote your own growth. For every post WR wears this coat in a thread they build 1 Charge to a maximum of 50 Charges. (Charges carry over for every thread.). If WR removes the coat the charges are immediately injected into WR's body surpassing their limits, gaining +1 Energy and Speed per Charge. WR can also choose to instead spend 10 Charges to turn off the Coats effects and gain +10 Energy and Speed for four posts. The effects of taking the coat off at full 50 Charges lasts for 15 posts, however after WR will be rendered incapacitated.

This ability can set fire to certain objects or materials.

She grabs her knife back and narrows her eyes at the portal.
Well there's something going on with that. But she can't say she knows much about closing portals. Did it seem to have a source or was it just...existing there and torn open?

Daniel goes to get up, moving away from the source of the footsteps heading his way, while drawing his other guns once more.
He's not going to go too trigger happy, considering there's still civilians about, but he also would rather not get jumped by another damn dog.

She’d wince but not fight not a bit. She’d watch as they’d take her to the portal and she’d look back quickly seeing WR and Gidget doing not as Dime asked.
“No! Help the others! Keep more from getting nabbed or else escape will become more difficult.” Dime shouted out loud Gidget was running faster than she everyone thought she’d see anyone run and it was incredible. But Dime was no slouch and someone was waiting.

Dj knew this was not a good position, so he stood still, waiting. Then right when both hounds were in his peripher vision he would run to the hound entering his line of sight and try to slash it down.
Following this, he expected an attack to his back, so he kept his ears open for an attack and prepared a teleport on case it was needed.

Soni successfully saved the kids! And the blasts would hit the portals destroying them, which would resort in a very VERY Loud and ANGRY roar to come out of the rest of the portals! Gidget would be so focused on chasing Dime that she wouldn't notice the hound swipe her feet tripping her into the portal just before Soni's blast destroyed the portal! Gidget would feel a strange sensation as her body was super saturated with Qi! So much so it forcefully activated her Zero ability turning her into a Fox! Towering over Gidget would be a Huge Beast it would be roaring noticing that the portal in front of it was gone! Luckily it didn't notice Gidget now in her fox form! WR Successfully killed the hound holding Dime and killed the other! However they would see Gidget disappear into a portal that would suddenly stop existing as it was hit with a blast of sound! As Nova inspected the portal it would look like a random tear in the fabric of reality, however she would notice as two blasts hit two portals destroying them! Followed by an extremely loud and Angry Roar coming out of all of the other portals! Daniel was able to crawl out from under the beast just in time to see that it was indeed a person running towards him with one of the hounds chasing him! However it would seemingly stop dead in it's tracks as it heard the Roar coming from the portals! Before DJ could make his next move there would be a loud and angry roar coming from the portals! This made both of the hounds stop in their tracks and turn to look at the portals!

"Just take my damn help so we can join the others," WR snapped at Dime, throwing a thumb over their shoulders to where people were being rescued. They were about to run to find someone else who needed help, before stopping at a horrific sight caught in the corner of their eye. "GIDGET!!" They shrieked as they watched her vanish into a portal, and it, as well as the portals around it exploding. Their heart stopped briefly, and every thought and feeling in their head converged into a single, angry thought: follow her. "Don't you fucking die on me today," They growled, breaking into a 110% sprint to the closest portal they could find, jumping into it without a second thought! Soni was relieved to see her kids safe, but now she had a new issue: she just trapped someone on the other side. Soni looks for the nearest portal and dashes to (and hopefully through) it to save the person!

Tiny baby fox Gidget stood there in front of the Beast. She was less than a foot tall, with tiny little claws at the end of her paws, and two tails tucked tight against her furry body. Her ears pinned back against her head as she backed slowly away from the Beast. She had, quite literally, no idea what was going on around her... or with her, for that matter. Think, Gidget, THINK! She took a deep breath and started to look around, trying to see if there was any clues anywhere around her. If the monsters weren't going to notice her, she was going to take full advantage of that fact. Zero Ability, Manifestation: Gidget is able to activate or deactivate her Manifestation form, thus locking or unlocking her Fox Fire Ability Set. (Forced Activation)

It's too bad she had no idea someone was trapped in one.
Nova would rush up to Daniel, pointing at the portal(s)?
"Danny, blast the portals! It looks like it's closing them."
They could deal with the leftover creatures after. Especially since it sounded like something else was trying to get out.
Since she's not sure if knives have any affect on them, she'll quickly throw a knife for the dog that stopped in its tracks so Daniel doesn't have to worry about it.
