Both pistol shots would burn holes in his clothing and the knife would jam into his hand. The sound of metal hitting wood could be heard when the knife hit his arm, and into his jacket the cube would go.
"Hm, so you two are nothing more than thieves after self gain, not perseverance. A shame. It's time for me to leave then."
With that a portal would open under him!
"You're more than welcome to join me if you wish."
He would call out as he sank into the portal!

The portal would slowly start to close, but it wasn't gone just yet, still an open invitation. Daniel however would hear the words.
"Does this smell like chloroform?"
As a rag was put over his face and he was pulled backwards. Daniel blacks out.
Nova would turn to see a pair of arms pulling Daniel into a portal that had appeared behind him. It closed immediately!

Nova turns, blinking incredulously as her fiance is kidnapped.
Her ears pin back as she gives a hard sigh, turning to run into the portal that didn't close.
"Fine, we get it." she mumbles as she hops in.

Daniel and Nova both wake up on the roof of the building that they were on prior to entering the portals, it was now night time and all portals and bodies were gone as though nothing happened. Both feel... Strange. Daniel specifically felt like he had just gotten out of a Protan Enhancement Tank... but those were all destroyed... Nova felt like there was something inside of her, a power of unknown origin... Dime and the others remain missing! Everyone: +5 Exp Daniel: Unlocks a Second Protan Battle Form this form was build to be fast and agile with heighten senses and dangerous claws and teeth. (Daniel now has a permanent Cat Tail courtesy of Leon) Nova: Unlocks a new Qi path, filling the last hole in her soul, this Qi branch element is Dragon Fire. (You are both free to come up with abilities for these, Daniel can have up to 5 abilities per battle form) Dime: Second Blood Magic ability, Corpse Claws: If Dime places her hands on a freshly dead corpse she can spend a Qi point to mix her blood with the corpse reforming it to become giant claws. She takes her Eng stat in Damage upon activation and can't use any other abilities while it's active. Claws grant +16 to Atk and Def stats and they cause blood poisoning dealing and additional damage over time (2 post) (Poison Damage = half Dime's Eng stat) (Locked until completion of next thread DM GM when ready) |
