She breathed deep and reached as far as she could she felt her heart and her pulse she felt the breath she took and imagined it spreading in her veins down to her fingertips. All before taking another breath and doing the same. As she exhaled she prayed, she asked the blood to once again come and aid her each exhale she wanted to feel the Qi... no the life still within this blood before it faded as she looked at the beast and watched as it took more lives. She kept the victims faces in her mind as they died. She connected with them, not with her mind but she wanted to reach her power out to them. From the burning of her cuts to a warmth that she would want to awaken at her very core.

Terror seeped through her when it snapped her body into action and the attack she took was honestly near too much for her to bare as she let out a scream piercing and unfiltered. When the power took over it took shape on her now malformed body to mirror her ferocity. Her challenge to the biggest beast before her and ready to lay waste to her new found territory. She would come and strike first as her blood screamed inside her demanded.
Her attack would land on a hind-leg, hopefully to slice and cripple the creature

He wouldn't even flinch as his hood was pulled off. "Progress requires sacrifice." He would say finally turning to face them his face was completely covered by a blank white mask. He tilted his head. "I don't understand. I thought for sure if anyone would understand our goals it would be those of your world. Tell me, why are you fighting this?" The Monster was distracted with it's feast that it was caught off guard as it's leg was slashed, the claws would dig deep and it would look like the cuts would immediately start to rot! It roared in pain and anger turning to swipe at Dime!

The swipe landed and knocked some wind from her chest but her new claws dug in and penetrated deep into the Manticore’s paw. She was ready when it finished it’s extended leg she climbed herself up it’s leg to its back to mount it. She was intending to get this over with quickly.

The Manticore roared and bucked attempting to knock Dime off of it! It's tail would lash out at her attempted to whip her off!

She yelped as she hung on by digging her claws wrap around a section of its spine to dig herself in like a tick at the creatures bucking. Another yelp escaped her throat at the attack. She hadn’t noticed the tail come for her she took the hit wherever it landed and shoved it away with a free hand. She was certain, without question, it was poisoned...
Fighting to keep her focus she would grasp at the spine of the creature and attempt to pull it out and break it.

He said with a chuckle.
Dime was indeed poisoned and she could feel it entering her system. The shock of being poisoned combined with the pain that her body was being wracked with was enough to knock her out of her berserker state. However, there would be a satisfying snapping sound as with her last efforts towards struggle the Manticore's spine was severed! It let out a loud pained whine as it crumpled to the ground. The other beast in the area, now see their once great master laying on the ground in defeat would all rush at it and start tearing into it's flesh. As Dime fell off the back the blood, flesh, and bone claws would fall away from her and land on the ground with a disgusting squish sound. Dime however would land in someone's arms.
"Hold on just a little longer. Today is not the day you die."
A familiar comforting voice would say, though due to the fog in her brain she couldn't quite place the voice. If she tried to look up at the man that held her she would only see a set of horns. Her eyes going dark as the poison made it's way further into her system...
