The Boogie Man Cometh (Major Event)

"Well isn't that something?" Nova would blink, watching people spontaneously develop Qi. THAT was going to be an interesting topic at the next town meeting.

She glances around, unable to shake the feeling of being watched and searching for where that could be coming from. Even if it's just a gut feeling.

[Dime Price]

Dime looked around and assessed the situation seeing the little thing attack the big one she was not sure what to make of it. She decided to communicate with the creature mentally once more after some recovery.

Gidget would feel Dime’s mental connection and be able to communicate.


Telepathic communications: while looking at one person she can send a mental note heard by that person only. She connects their Qi to communicate. The connection can be one way but should the other party allow it they can complete the connection to trade messages back and forth.

Together Gidget and WR's attack were able to finish off the beast. After which they would be heading to towards the survivors!

As Dime tried to use her ability she would feel an intense migraine and her blood would feel like it was boiling!

Daniel would continue to feel like something was off... Nova however would catch what looked like a flash coming from the top of a nearby building!

[Novocaine]

That could be nothing...but she felt like at this point it wouldn't hurt to investigate.

"There's something over there." she'd point out to Daniel, both to let him know where she was off to, and in case he wanted to follow up on it as well.

Whatever he chose to do, Nova would head off towards the building to scale it.

[Gunslinger]

Daniel looks where Nova points, then nods.

"Alright."

He goes to follow after her, looking for a way up!

[Raikotsu Sudeki]

Nova would start to run for the building only to get her foot caught in a hole in the sand that had been dug out by children, she would fall face first and her ankle hurts!

Daniel would notice that there was a set of fire exit stairs on the side of the building that should allow for quick access to the roof!

On the other side of the portal there would be a loud Roar again and a a large Ferocious Monster would appear atop the cliff and the other creatures would go silent and back away in fear!

Nova would fall down, having enough presence of mind to catch herself with her arms so she doesn't full on face-plant.

She looks back at the hole and her ankle with a soft curse. She'd definitely gotten sloppy since coming here. Unacceptable.

She does her best to get back up, testing how much pressure she can still put on her ankle as she continues towards the building.

Daniel slows to check on Nova, but provided she's alright, will start bounding up that fire escape as fast as possible!

The place was filled with Qi and yet using hers attacked her and it took her a moment to recover. She looked around to find those eyes that gazed upon her through this abyss moments prior.

Daniel and Nova would make it to the roof to see a man where all black with a hood cover his face standing there. Watching.

Dime would watch in horror as the Manticore like creature leapt to the island of kidnapped people and started eating them! The screams of fear and agony would reach her ears.

[Gunslinger]

Daniel immediately aims his guns at the man, but doesn't fire.

"Who are you?"

He asks in a no-nonsense tone. He's fairly sure this guy is involved in what was going on... somehow. He was too conspicuous to not be.

At the very least he had to know SOMETHING.

Nova would take a stance, holding one of her knives at the ready.

"Why don't you say hello?"

[Dime Price]

She covered her mouth and her breathing started becoming ragged. She didn’t have the power to face anything like this to be honest and there was not a lot of time to try. She ran until she got close she had scrapes on her palms from her previous fall. They didn’t bleed a lot but they were open and burning

She had a thought in her mind one that took her home, reminded her of the castle that stood strong and the blood that lived from thousands and thousands of slain lives, fortified the monument in blood. She came to a body that was flung near and looked into its dead terrified eyes. Her hands placed in a growing pool of mixed blood from the massacre that was being brought on. She would speak not only to the body but to the blood of everyone and reach into the blood with in her.. Raikotsu’s blood praying it will respond.

“Let me avenge you, let me carry your pain, fear, hope, and relief. Fortify me to give me power and slay this enemy.” She prayed trying to feel the blood seep into her scrapes trying to stir the blood dragon’s power to let it feed. She wanted to tap into something new.

The man wouldn't respond instead he would just turn his back to them and look over the display of people suddenly developing powers and fighting off the hell hound remnants.

"Look at it, what a sight to see. Don't you agree?"

The man would ask in a Deep voice.

Dime could feel something inside her stir... as if something was asleep inside her... (Roll a D20 + Eng)

[Gunslinger]

"Yeah. Real exciting."

Daniel cocks the hammer on his gun.

"Now answer my question. Who are you?"
