She felt lighter and looked at her hands before looking at the stranger realizing she was indeed not grounded. Her conscious fading she squinted to try and see them but it was too late she wanted to say thank you but as she mouthed the words she wasn’t sure her voice followed in the same manner before she went limp and let sleep take her. Poison might have been run through her veins, blood and murder had taken over her thoughts not moments ago, and even more moments prior there was a feasting massacre. Right now however, it was quiet.

She didn't want to risk a sort of brainwash though it seemed to imply a level of free will if you joined. Not that she wanted to use the cube, but, having it to study could be valuable.
