"Lightning" Means "Family" (Rose, Leon)

"That's not even a choice."

Elias shrugs, getting to his feet while putting his hand on Rose to steady himself.

"Let's go find him. Whenever we decide to come back, I'll go in the tower myself."

[Rose Princeton]

“I want to find my babies right away.” Rose would nod, also in agreement

Lucien would grin and nod. He would lead the way out of the building and down the road to where one of the Lightning Countries cars was waiting. They'd travel in style to the new Sudeki Compound.

As they traveled it would become more and more obvious that things closer to the chains were dead or dying. The ground turning black, dry and cracked, trees and vegetation wilting and crumbling away. Animals were becoming scarce, few and far between. However, so were travelers. No caravans, no wandering traders, not even mercenary groups moved without reason. The drive would take about half an hour even with there being no traffic on the roads, but eventually they would pull up to some make shift tents with a few people standing about. Elias would recognize the sigils they wore would represent their rank and position within the mercenary family. The fact these people had dark hair made it possible they were actual Sudeki, since the mercenary group isn't made up of just the family. He would also know he himself would not have a warm welcome here because he is Leon's apprentice, but they don't need to know that either.

"What does the Lightning Country want with us? We aren't for sale right now, too much going on."

Lucien would look at the two and nod.

"We aren't here to purchase mercenaries, we were hoping to talk to the one named Sevryn."

They would exchange glances before the one that spoke shook his head.

"Can't be done, turn your car around and head back."

It was so far...

Elias gets out, looking around and making sure he keeps that information to himself. If Rose knew, she'd probably tell them about his status by accident.

"Why can't it be done? This is important. My children are missing."

They can know that part. AT least then they might be somewhat sympathetic to parents missing their children.

[Rose Princeton]

Rose shifted nervously the whole ride here, so it came as a relief when they finally arrived. Or should have, had the men been more...cooperative.

She felt her hopefulness get crushed by just a few words, and though her smile faltered, it no longer matched the slight desperation in her eyes.

Rose would start walking swiftly towards the one that spoke, looking to grab him by the shirt.

"Make it possible!" she'd demand, not at all in a negotiating state. Somehow there was an undercurrent of 'or i'll rip off your face' in there.

The guy was going to talk to Elias when Rose suddenly grabbed him, he'd try to reach up to pry her hands off his collar. (Atk: 45)

"Let go!"

He'd try his best to get away from Rose, successful or not.

"I understand your concern, we are trying to figure out the same thing! Suddenly all the kids in the compound vanished in a flash of light!"

Lucien tilts his head.

"Here too?"

"Then where is he?"

Elias says calmly, in cool contrast to Rose.

Rose doesn't let go, but she lets him talk!

[Zack Asiv]

The one who had been watching chuckles lightly at the scene before speaking.

"He is in the camp, assembling some of our squads to go to the nearest of the large chains and see if they can destroy it. There seems to be a connection between the larger chains and where the children went."

[Elias Wyatt]

"Alright. Let's go there, then."

Elias goes to pull Rose with him and head towards the camp!

He assumes the others will follow.

She gives a yelp as she's pulled, letting the man go as she trips over herself.

A very different look than when she was threatening him, that's for sure.

She follows Elias as usual!

[Zack Asiv]

The guy who wasn't basically threatened like a delinquent stepped forward to get in front of Elias.

"You can't enter the camp. We are not open for business, and are currently on lock down."

Lucien seems to be watching intently, Elias would be able to sense the sudden increase in killing intent seeming to seethe off Lucien in waves, though no one else would be able to feel it. Seemed things could become volatile suddenly.

Elias doesn't usually do anything about things like this. He doesn't... really care.

But since Rose probably wasn't going to try and stop it, in her state, he figures he'll give it one shot.

"You will want to make an exception now, if you want this camp to survive."

[Rose Princeton]

Rose squeezes Elias's hand, mostly to keep herself from losing herself. In most cases she wanted to preserve lives...but she's more than happy to let a few die out if they get in the way of her family.

[Zack Asiv]

"Let them through."

A man with a cocky grin would be walking up the road, his eyes gold and whites black. His Seikatsugan obviously activated as he approached.

"The man with them is Lucien Wyatt, best to see whats going on than not."

The two stepped away and he would wave for them to follow.

"Come on then, let's go talk to Sevryn."

He'd begin leading them into the camp, not once did his Seikatsugan deactivate. The camp was full of people, some standing in formations of what looked like two person teams getting debriefed on missions before setting out in every direction. From the looks of it there must be hundreds of targets.

"Missing kids from Lightning Country, huh? With all the visual prowess in our Clan, no one saw it coming, nor could we even react. Sevryn already looked at where they are... It's a place no one has seen before, and where it is makes no sense."

Seemed this new guy was doing a lot of talking since the walk was gonna be a minute.
