Elias' eyes narrow, and he draws all his stacks into himself, pulling their power into himself to make it his own. "How strong do you get? Is this it? Do I have to show you the distance between us?" The wind picks up around him again, but this time far more intense. "Acknowledge me as your master." ---------------------- Level 0 - Life Force Absorption: Elias stores the life force of those around him when they die. He can hold up to X amount of charges, with X being his current level of energy, and these charges can be built up over multiple threads. He gains one charge per death. Elias can use these charges as a temporary buff for one thread only, spending the charges to increase his attributes as a sort of temporary experience points to his base stats. Once spent, these points only last for the current thread, and the charges must be built up with death once more. Zero Ability: Elias surrounds himself with a whirlwind of air moving at supersonic speeds, creating a sphere around himself. The sphere has a defense of his Energy, and if touched physically, deals his energy in damage. It would somehow, appear that what Rose was doing was working?! What?
The beast would successfully swallow Elias! Wind defense and all, taking the damage from his shield, but also eating away at it with a constant bombardment of damage! To everyone else it would appear the white and blue fire was simply engulfed Elias, as even the strand of white smoke connected to Asta had detached!

Elias folds his arms, continuing to push power into his shield, before he glares at the fire itself. Apparently, just firmly using his voice isn't working.
...he's not good at this.

The wolf creature is thrown back and out of it's fire form! It limps a bit and breathes heavy facing Elias and snarling.
Now would be a good time to try and absorb it. Devour it.
Rose is probably going to hyperventilate at some point...

Elias lets the sphere dissipate, and he steps forward towards the creature.
"Alright. Come here."
He tries to pull it into his body to absorb it!

It growls and lowers it' head, but then charges over, turning to mist and Elias is able to absorb the creature into his form with dim white and blue light. It would seem for a few moments that it was settling in nicely.
Rose's progress would seem to end, but the ice successfully was gone, but the damage was done. Parts of Asta's arm are black and bleeding in places, and his chain vanishes along with the portal.
It would be about then that something Elias was probably not accustomed to recently, though through his lifetimes of training would be no stranger to... Pain. It would ripple from his chest as if a singular beat of his heart set every nerve in his body on fire!
Rose would then hear a voice!
At this point there is nothing more you can do. Elias must pass this test on his own. You on the other hand, need to get something just in case. It will help Elias.

Elias nods, pleased with the creature's apparent submission. That is, until there's a level of pain he's not prepared for.
"Ghk!"
Elias grabs his chest at first, then falls to his hands and knees! That wasn't at all what he was expecting.
But... if that's what his master thought was a good idea, then it was likely part of his training.
"...you're mine... stop fighting me...!"
He grits his teeth, trying to will the power to settle into him more fully.

Well she's no healer but at least the ice was gone. Job well done.
She'd slowly get off the poor guy, listening to the voice and nodding a bit to herself.
"O-oh. Anything to help Elias! What should I-...?"
She'd turn as though she was trying to look at whoever the voice was coming from...but everyone had stayed back. Probably no one gave her eye-contact either.
"Heheh...that's funny, I didn't use my bloodline so why am I hearing things that aren't there?"

Elias would get wracked with a new sensation of pain, it was literally hot, on the inside, under his skin, a crawling heat like something was scratching to get out, but even if Elias wanted to expel it, he could not at this point. He would have to endure pain, as this completely foreign and unpredictable power tried to merge with his in a way that has only ever happened once before. That person was more connected to the power than Elias.
Rose would hear the voice again.
Oh, you are hearing things, and it is here. You need to slink away, sneak off into the camp. With all that's going on there will no doubt be a medical tent set up for the wounded. You need to find it.

Elias slams his fist into the ground, trying to refocus through the pain.

Somehow she's treating the voice like a demon or curse more than a helpful guide...but it doesn't seem to have any affect on the result.
She anxiously tries to back away from the action, trying to stick to areas with the least amount of people as she does her best to head out of here.
A camp with medical supplies. That shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Elias's punch craters and upheaves some of the surrounding area as the others approach to see if there is anything they can do, focus is entirely on Elias at this point. Socked with another wave of pain this time seemingly effecting his bones and this time streamlining right for his mind, clouding it with this newer sensation. He would remember this from the torture training during one of his lifetimes.
Rose is able to sneak off while the focus is on Elias. The camp its self seems pretty empty since the teams have moved out on their missions. Though there does seem to be an abundance of Qi Beast horses sitting around one part of the camp.
