Okay, we have a new feature on the board, Sports and Clubs. The sports and clubs board is located here, under the main school board. This is a place that one can go to gain extra XP for their character in an easy and convient way that can be gained just as quickly as fights, if the fights last for some time.
However, there a few rules for this board.
1 - The rate of XP gain is three points every two weeks. The only exception to this is if a teacher or pillar heads up the club. Explanation later. The distribution of points is up to the teachers, and we will be monitoring anyone in a club or sport to make sure they are not giving themselves extra points. The teachers (Shuuhei and myself mainly) will try to keep up with the clubs and sports to distribute points as we see fit.
2 - Any student can start a club or sport of their choice, however, it must be passed through a teacher. The only exception to this rule is if a teacher or pillar is to make the sport/club.
Example: Student wants to make a soccer team. He must ask a teacher if it is okay, and the teacher will verify it.
Any teacher can be approached on this, but I would ask that you direct any PM's concerning this to me or Shuuhei.
3 - When asking to start a club or sport, a student can ask a pillar or teacher to head up the club as well, allowing said club/sport to gain extra XP at the same rate.
Example: Student A asks a teacher to start a soccer team with the teacher as the coach. The teacher agrees, and the soccer team now gains five XP every two weeks instead of the three. If the student would ask to have a pillar head up the team, the team would gain four XP every two weeks.
Just make sure to ask the teacher or pillar to head up the club/sport before you ask. We will make sure you aren't making a pillar or teacher do this without his/her knowledge and consentment.
4 - Teachers have the right to close a sport or club at anytime, but must first give a reason to the head of the club/sport, as well as a reason. The head may then agree or argue the point, by bringing it to the attention of the staff. This is mainly for any pillar that may start a sport or club.
5 - Also, a student may one join sport AND club per two weeks.
Example: Student A joins the soccer team and the chess club. He is not able to quit the soccer team to join the history club, and is also not allowed to quit the chess club to join the basketball team.
A student may quit at any time, but will not recieve any points when they quit.
If you have any questions, please PM me and I will answer them. Have fun you all!
EDIT: - Added extra rules that cover loopholes.
