He nodded, and flipped the coin into the air. Putting plenty of spin on it. A nice metallic sound rang with the coin as his claw forced it to defy gravity. When the coin came back down, he caught it in the same hand, and flipped it over to the other hand. Which caught the metal disk, before turning palm up, revealing heads.
"Silver Surfer. It is Madam Fates."
He kissed the coin looking at the ceiling as if paying homage to some kind of deity. Valekin'd give Kate the coin back, and take her hand again. To bring her down to that parking garage, and fork over his money to get his car back, so he could get out, so they could go to the theaters.
"Wait.... where are the theaters?"

Laughter spilled from Kate. It was just funny to her. The blonde swayed as her feet stopped once again, and she leaned on Vale as her laughter poured from her. Vale was ever the same it seemed, and that was always refreshing.
"On...main street...." Her laughter was slowly dying, but it felt as if the air inside of her had been drained as well. It would take her a few moments to recover. And when she did a simple little pat to his cheek before a sweet words were spoken.
"I love you Valekin, you make me laugh so."
She giggled for a moment before letting go and heading to the car in a free spirited mood. Life...was alright. And it would get better. There would be ups and downs... but everything would be alright. That much was...certain to her.

Oh dear would there be downs. Like morning sickness. But that's only for the first trimester... usually. That really varies. Actually... it all varies. Valekin just nodded, baffled at the response, and got into the driver's seat. Brought the corvette to life, and pulled out of the garage at Mach 8. They'd reach downtown in no time. Avoiding traffic wasn't so easy, he had seriously thought about driving on the sidewalk. But then thought better of it, and obeyed most of the rules of the road.
He disregarded all traffic lights. All of them.
"I might have to get some gas for this monstrosity soon.... Oh well."
The needle was getting close to teetering on the E. All that heavy armor and powerful engine, ate gas.

Once again Kate wasn't really paying attention. The blonde would have...could have slapped him silly for driving like an idiot... but she was still lost in her giggles.
"Get gas then silly."
Today was looking much brighter than it had this morning. Funny how outlooks can change so easily. She relaxed finally, before pointing out the building they needed to go to.
"It's right there Vale."
He had explained to her once what Vale meant...as the shortened down nick name she had given him from Valekin. But now...Kate forgot. It had been too long since he had told her, and her memory was rather...fuzzy at the moment.
"Hey...what does Vale mean again?"

"As the nickname, Wind. My full name, Valekin, means Falcon. Or 'the wind's brother'."
He pulled into a gas station first. Getting out of the car and turning off the engine. He glared at the machine and damned the fact that he wouldn't get a card of any kind. He walked into the little store, put forty dollars on the pump he was at, number four, and put the gas in the tank. Closed it all up, and got back on the road.
"Gas prices here aren't as bad as back home. Or London."
Though gas was astonishingly expensive in America?! What did that mean for those two countries? That they didn't rely on oil as much as America did? This is true, the United states guzzled oil like it was pancakes. Serbia didn't even use a percentage of oil. So it was quite expensive.
".... Parking? Place?!"
There was almost no where to park... That pissed him off. He'd make somewhere to park. His eyes narrowed, and he drove in circles, looking for a space to put the bat mobile.

Wind...yes, that sounded right. And Falcon? That sounded right too, in it's own way. Though Kate rarely called him Valekin. He was always Vale to her. Yeah, there could be a corny line inserted here about Vale being the 'wind' beneath Kate's wings... but Kate doesn't think like that too often. So yeah.
Kate's bright eyes looked around before spotting a single parking place in the crowded area. Problem was, someone else had spotted it as well.
"VALE!!! Over there!!!"
She pointed it out quickly, hoping he'd get the spot. Otherwise they would still be driving in circles...and too much of that just might make her sick.

She pointed it out, he saw it, the other person saw it. The engine roared twice. Wheels squealed, rubber burned, and Vale almost destroyed an old lady and an old man on their way to the theater to see some movie. He would have laughed it off, but that would have been mean. He turned off the engine, and watched the rear view mirror. God couldn't save them if they decided to hit his car.
Not that it would do anything to the car.
But the act alone would piss him off.
"You ready?"
He asked, when they drove off, and eventually found a spot that he had accidentally passed. All that for nothing. Holy shit.

"Yeah Vale, I'm ready."
How could she not be ready? It wasn't like she'd say no and do a quick change in the car or something. Kate slid out of the car, her feet landing on the smooth ground below it.
A quick glance Vale's way, before she began to walk toward the theater. An easy, slow walk...there was no rush for Kate. She felt like being relaxed today.
But there was still that echo in her mind with every step.
You're pregnant. No more booze, tattoo has to wait, don't party hardy! Start working on things for the kid, clothing and such. Doctor's appointments and check ups. There was just under nine months to go, right? It seemed like a long time...and yet it also seemed like there wasn't enough time to get everything done.

He got out of the car, and shut his door, then walked around to the other side and shut her door. Then walked with her into the theater up to the box office where one buys the tickets. The place was clean, sort of, but he really didn't have any reason to complain. It's not like a bomb could suddenly end the movie. That would totally suck.
He stood in line.[/i]
"I hate lines."
He felt like he could kill someone. Which was a possibility, making an example out of the line system. But then panic would ensue and chaos would win. Why not just pay after you see the movie, that would be so much better? You force everyone in that one show to pay for what they saw. He wasn't going to argue it.

Another little comment that got a smile from the blonde. Everyone hated waited in lines, some people just hated them more. Kate was fine waiting in line, as long as there was some one with her. Things seemed to be better with friends. She gave him a cheeky grin, bright eyes dancing.
"Really? You really hate lines? I totally couldn't tell."
The pale young lady reached out and pinch his cheek, still grinning. He was so cute. To her there were moments in which it was like he had never even changed. But he had, Kate just didn't know about the voices in his head or the issues with eating people. All she knew about was this cute face and the way he treated her. He cared. That in it's self was sweet enough, once you consider how everyone else had treated her over the years.

"I do. What're you doing to my face? It moved!"
He moved up in line. Yay! They're next!
Considering the way he treated most people that he came across. She was very special and very well treated and well loved. He hadn't hurt her at all, and he hadn't seriously been crazy around her. Of course that changed at night at times. When he needs to remove himself from the room. But that was all she really knew. He just needed to remove himself from the room.

More laughter, it was moments like these when it seemed nothing had changed... and they were back in New York, dating. Because he had acted like that often then.
"I just pinched it! See?"
She did it again to show him, though his cheek would be a little red from the attention. It almost looked like a blush! At least on one side. Kate laughed all over again. She felt light hearted... and oddly, free. Maybe it was just being around Vale?
"You look like you're blushing!"
They had moved up in line. About halfway there...though the movie didn't start for another hour. Plenty of time. Kate just kept grinning at Vale. This was fun to her.

They moved up in line again. And the guy looked at him funny. Valekin glared at the guy in return. He didn't take kindly to being stereotyped. It wasn't nice, and was often wrong.
"Two for silver surfer, and if you give me that look again I'm going to serve your eye balls to a goat on a silver platter."
"Yes sir.. N-nineteen ninety six sir. Thank you sir, four cents is your change sir."
He had scared the poor kid and got the tickets! Woo! Now he was out of the line, now to deal with the blush and Kate. Whom.. hopefully followed him. Oh there she was. He got so absent minded when people did that to him.
"Got the tickets, I'm not blushing, movie starts....in an hour. What to do..."
Most movie theaters have arcades. He was so blushing.

Kate had followed him, and blinked at his words when ordering the tickets. She kept following him even as he spoke again. But her mind was stuck on one thing at the moment.
"Eye balls to a goat on a silver platter?"
It was actually a interesting thing to say. The blonde, who had dished out more insults than most people in the school, hadn't even thought of that. Well, she had been saucy and feisty for a good few years now... and that had built up a good number of name calls and such... but she had never thought of that.
Her bright eyes glanced up, and it was all forgotten as she grinned again. Not blushing? A small little chuckle before heading in the building. There was an arcade, and there was the snacks to get. One after another before hitting the movie right? Since he had paid for the tickets, Kate would buy the snacks.
"Wanna play a few games?"

"Yes, I was entirely serious when I told him I'd serve his eyes to a goat."
Games? He loved games. He kicked ass at first person shooters. He trained on simulators for a year. He'd be owning n00bs online if he felt like doing that kind of thing. But that wasn't the kind of thing he did as a hobby. Virtua Cop.. House of the Dead.... hmmm.
"Sure. I love games. What do you want to play?"
What do we play first? We have an hour to waste. We could waste our cash on a shooter, or on Dance Dance Revolution, which is packed with a bunch of people easily cleared away.
