It was a little later in the night which Kasumi would shoot up straight from the bed, the bedding almost completely drenched with sweat forming a near perfect image of where her entire body had been that night, her breathing was heavy and fast and her eyes wide as she looked down at her self, giving a small sigh her head fell back on the pillow.
She didn't know how long it had been but the ice-pack had turned into a simple pack of semi-cold water by now as she pulled it off of her and set it to the side.
Her body easily rolled from the bed, a smile crept across her face as she did so...that little bit of sleep with the ice-pack had really taken care alot of the pain. Her shoulders shrugged softly as the silky Kimono slid gracefully from her body, removing all parts of the outfit she neatly put them away before pulling out a simple night-gown of hers.
This was her outfit of choice now, it was comfortable and easy to sleep in but she wasn't ready just yet to go to sleep as Kasumi creeped her way through the house to get her self a quick glass of water.
Her attention was grabbed else-where though as she slowly drank the glass of water, through a window she could see Jyo who currently had no shrit on his body covered in scars which were visible thanks to the light of the moon.
She felt water forming in her eyes once more her hand coming up to quickly brush the tears away, it was the second time in a night she'd nearly begun to cry without knowing why she felt the way she did.
Slowly the glass was set down on the counter as she walked to the backdoor, pushing it open as quietly as possible the barefoot woman slowly stepped onto the back porch leaning up against the wall of the house as she watched Jyo training again.

Jyo's hearing let him realize the door had opened. And out of the corner of his eyes he saw Kasumi standing ther in a nighgown. Apparently she had woken up and changed. He didn't pause though as he went through his forms attempting to be a little more fluid in his motions than before.
"Everything okay?" He asked without pauseing. he didn't going to stop until he had practiced as much as he had planned. But he wouldn't ignore Kasumi either. And if she needed something he'd stop for the night. After all. He could train more or less whenever he wanted to.

"Oh, no..I just had a nightmare." Kasumi said truthfully as she played with the ends of her nightgown, a habit that she'd developed at some time was to fidgit about with her clothing as her head pressed back against the wall of the house looking toward the sky for any sign of stars.

Jyo stopped and looked over at Kasumi. Nightmares were a subject that he sadly was all too familiar with. He was still for a moment and walked over then leaned on the wall next to her.
"If it helps any. I have them every night. Thats one of the reasons I haven't slept yet tnoight. I really don;t want to go to sleep. Everytime I do I'm back there. or I'm facing Rastal or whoever was the threat against what I defended." He said and shook his head.
He looked up along with Kasumi.
"One thing I don't like about the moonlight. It kinda outdoes the stars a little bit." he said with a chuckle as he reached over on the ground where his shirt was and threw it on. Now that he wasn't moving he had gotten chilly due to his lith build. he wasn't a person who could stay warm easily at night without a shirt.

She'd done something completely unpredicted and unlike her at the time that he had moved over to her, they were talking about nightmares so she wasn't exactly sure what at the moment had spurred this but once he had moved to pick up his shirt Kasumi had stepped in the way.
It wasn't like her to be like this, but hey, what could it possibly hurt? She didn't think Jyo would throw her out flat on her ass over this as she'd suddenly pressed into Jyo causing him to press up against the wall her lips quickly finding his as she stood on her tippy-toes, her eyes closed a bit.

Jyo found an very unexpected occurance whe he reached to grab his shirt. Kasumi had gotten in the way and before he could react she had kissed him. Not in the friendly way that Katie and Bella had. but and actual kiss. he as usual tensed for a second. But then he relaxed and his arms went around her and he didnt pull away until she was done.
When it broke off he looked down at her not moving at all. It was an interesting twist on life to say the least. he had always liked Kasumi. She was his closest and most trusted friend. And h coudln't deny he found her attractive but he never really saw a relationship outside of friends. And though he wasn't one to pick up on these things easily he never did notice any hint of it from her.
but he wasn't dumb enough to break the moment with words. Instead one hand rose up and brushed a few strand of her hari from her face and as in way of a response he gave a smile.

Kasumi hadn't been entirely too sure what she was looking to find in that kiss, but with the slight expression on her face as she bit down on her bottom once it had ended could only tell one thing...she hadn't exactly found what it was that she was looking for, that little spark that goes off inside of someone when they kiss.
She was almost sure that it would have had a similar effect or perhaps the ordeal had just completely thrown her senses off, something was definitely in the kiss and so her wish had been half-fufilled to say the least but it wasn't as if magic had suddenly become existant again when they kissed.
Her cheeks turned red at one as she gave a bit of a girlish giggle, one of her fingers running lightly down Jyo's battle-torn chest before she backed off "Mm...Gomen Nasai...I just wanted to see something..." She said honestly, giving a small shrug as she giggled.

Jyo tilted his head slightly at this. He didn't really understand that. he let go and retrived his shirt after she ran her finger along him and backed off. he threw it one and closed it up.
"And what did you want to see?' He asked curiously. He didn't really expect much more than what happened. And was actually glad it had been something more spur of the moment. It was nice but he was glad it didn't turn akward.

She'd placed a finger to her lips and gave a rather cute and rather girlish look, even as her head had tilted backwards to stare up upon the sky she didn't even quite know how to explain it her self what she was looking for.
So, instead, a simple shrug of her shoulders was the only answer that Jyo gotten followed by a "I'm not really sure my self..." She nodded as she'd turned back, standing on her tip-toes once more she gave Jyo a careful peck to the cheek.
Interestingly enough, regardless of what she was looking for Kasumi seemed to be happy and content once more.

Jyo chuckled a bit after the peck on the cheek. He didn't expect much more than what she said. Oddly he felt a little more at peace.
"Never could get a strait answer from you." he said smiling a bit crossing his arms and leaning against the wall of the house and gave a slight sigh.
Probably should be heading to bed soon. It's been a pretty eventful day and as there IS school tomorow that means I need to get up early. He thought.
"Well it's starting to get a bit late. I think I'm going to get eady for bed." he said with a shrug and opened the door and held it.
"Coming in?' He asked.

She smiled and giggled before Jyo even had the chance to do anything Kasumi had flung her self at him. This resulted in her being ontop of his back, her arms wrapped about his neck and her legs about his waist as her breasts pressed flat into his back.
Kasumi giggled, with the kick that he'd delt to her she knew he'd damned well better be able to carry her...afterall..she wasn't THAT big, with a smile and giggle she blew into his ear and gave a playful wink.
"Lets go!" With those words and a sudden burst of hyper activity Kasumi's teeth had sunken down into Jyo's earlobe, tugging on it before letting it snap free from her grasp the girl giggling more so.

Jyo had been turning when she leapt on him so he was caught off-gaurd added by the fact it was completly spontainious. he stubled forward for a second but supported her eaisly and was about to head in then.
"Hey what the.." He exclaimed as she bit his earlobe. Playfully it seemed and though it didn't hurt as much as other things he was used to it caught him unaware. He headed in and managed a smile.
"You know. I don't think Ill ever understand you. Not sure if I want to. It wouldn't be quite as fun expecting everything you do to happen." he said as they headed in. Jyo wasn't sure where to head so he asked.
"So you want to head to your room or were you going to stay up a bit longer?' He asked keeping the pace slow as he wasn't sure where she planned to go.

"Too my room." Kasumi had whispered out, it seemed that once they'd entered the house her energy was suddenly sapped from her body as she gave out a bit of a wide yawn, suddenly burrying her face into his neck moving her arms to the side to give her room to do so.
No one really understood Kasumi, half the time she didn't even understand her self but she liked it like that...doing things spur of the moment that she wouldn't normally do was her style, and at #499 she certinaly wouldn't be wrapped around Jyo's body let alone living with him.
But change wasn't always a bad thing, she was pretty content with how her life had managed to turn out....minus the bad things of course.

Jyo smiled noticing Kasumi was tiring a bit and feeling her resting against his neck. For some reason having her close to him wasn't as uncomfortable as with most people. he wasn't srue why but he wasn't going to worry about it either.
He got to her room and then reached her bed and had his back facing it and lowered Kasumi down letting her sit and let go before standing back up again.
"And here we are. next stop Kasumi's room." he said.

Kasumi giggled a bit as she plopped down upon her bed, stretching her arms out over her head with a small bit of a yawn she sat there staring up at Jyo for a moment before she listened to him talk.
Another giggle escaped her lips a bit as he hand reached up and grabbed ahold of the hem of his shirt, her head tilting to one side cutely "I think you've reached your stop then.." She hadn't been entirely sure why Jyo seemed to have gotten mixed up, if he was attempting to act like a buss or train service he probably should have learnt that you announce the person's stop before actually dropping them off at it.
