After the whole incident with the hospital, Valekin had brought the girl to his car, and drove her back to the factory. Of course, in his way, it didn't take long. His driving was insane and it practically taunted fate to kill him. Not that the impact itself would kill him, the thing was indeed a tank, it would take quite a bit to take that car out. Mostly a couple pounds of C4. That would do it.
"Come on."
He'd say to lead her the door out of the parking garage for the factory. From there he wouldn't take the usual straight path to the factory floor, oh no. Today he took her straight, and left just before the factory floor. Leading her around a maze of hallways. Finally he reached the room he was looking for. He opened the door, and revealed the room with the padded walls, floor and ceiling. Even the door was padded. The ceiling facilitated a hook that could be used to hang chains, and under a square of padding, since it was flat padding, was a drain. Apparently it all sloped in towards that one spot.
"Sure you want to do this? You want something to eat before hand? Otherwise.. I'll just put you in the straight jacket and the muzzle now."
That sounded oddly kinky. Of course this wasn't one of those kinky situations, no. She was going to shatter her own mind. If one hadn't noticed it just yet, the walls weren't exactly white. The one light in the ceiling revealed the words that covered every inch of the interior of the room except for the ceiling, and a foot of wall under that. The words were in russian, and in english, and even in japanese, among all the other languages. It all said the same thing though, something along the lines of incoherent babble to the sane.

She was clothed in black, the same clothes Valekin had given to her earlier that night when they'd broken out from the hospital. A pink tongue would flick out from her mouth, lining those lips of her's, chapped, and dried. Her skin was crawling, as she let herself part from his car, and now was fallowing his shadow down hallways.
"Come on."
Under any other circumstances, Calamity wouldn't have fallowed him. She wouldn't have taken his help, but Hiroko was dead, and there was nothing else for her. She felt horrible, almost as if this wasn't happening. She felt..like she was far off, watching her life play out before her very own eyes.
Dainty feet, secured in a pair of black boots would thud against the ground as she fallowed him. No words would fall from those lips, blue eyes hidden between black, smeared makeup, once decorated those eyes. But now, well, her appearance was less then glamorous.
But none of this mattered to the young Japanese girl now. And as their feet would slow, the sounds scuffing against the cemented floor as she'd let her fingertips graze the wall as she'd come to a stop.
"Sure you want to do this? You want something to eat before hand?"
She thought for a moment, she was a little hungry. Hadn't eaten for a while, and she'd swallow, looking towards the ground.
"Otherwise.. I'll just put you in the straight jacket and the muzzle now."
Letting her head rise, those eyes floating on Valekin's for a very long moment before those eyes fell inside the room. Lips pressed together before she's give a silent shake of her head.
".............Let's just do it."

"Then turn around so I can get this thing on you."
He removed a jacket from a drawer in another room he had gone into. It looked like an examination room, considering there was an exam table, and a stool with wheels, along with several cabinets chock full of medical supplies. He could easily keep her alive if he needed to. Especially when she didn't want to live anymore. She'll get to that point probably. You just never know how people will break down, or react.
"Alright, arms through the sleeves, then cross your arms at the waist."
He had flipped the jacket out in front of her, so that she could shove her arms through the sleeves. If she did what he told her to do, he'd strap them together in the back, and then tighten the jacket along her back, closing it. Then hook the sleeves to the clasp. Bam! Straitjacket. This would prevent her from hurting herself mostly. Especially if she didn't use one of the various tricks to escape.
The straight jacket he used was made from canvas, and featured not only the crotch strap, the front strap, the back straps, the sleeve straps, the self-tightening claps, but a muzzle attachment to the collar, to prevent biting, as well as straps that came over the shoulders into the center of the chest from the back, went through a dial that tightened them, and into the sleeve clasps. All this was put on her with the exception of the muzzle so far.
The muzzle itself was a plate of metal, with several holes drilled into it, with soft leather on the inside. It fit over the mouth and part of the nose. Holes were in it to allow for breathing through the nose and mouth, this way no one would suffocate with it on. Tight canvas straps attached it to the neck of the jacket itself. This was a smaller jacket, a perfect size for Calamity. Valekin's was hanging up, and it also featured a muzzle, among other extra restraints.
"Anything to say before I put on the muzzle?"

"Then turn around so I can get this thing on you."
She swallowed. Letting that tongue roll along her lips for a moment, feet carrying herself around. Her back to this man now, tilting her head tot he side as to keep an eye on him.
"Alright, arms through the sleeves, then cross your arms at the waist."
She was hesitant, wiggling her fingers, then her wrists. Rolling her neck, and just giving her body one good shake before finally letting those arms raise and push through those sleeves, and doing as he said crossing her arms.
She was still, silent as the grave. Head canted down.
She wanted to speak. To spill her thoughts.
But when she had opened her mouth, nothing had come. Sad, right?
Everything had just happened so fast. She needed time to soak it all in.
Winters. Gone. Hiroko. Love. Death.
She'd made friends with suicide. Attempting such a horrible thing. Though she didn't regret it. Not at all.
The only thing she had regretted was not doing it sooner, if she had done it sooner...she wouldn't be doing this now. She wouldn't have been in that hospital. And she would be here, trying to better herself.
But was this really going to work? What was she trying to accomplish?
"Anything to say before I put on the muzzle?"
Now, she had thought again. Letting those blue eyes look towards him. A small nod.
Tell Johnathan. That I won't be going to work for a bit.
"Please tell Mr.Winters that I died."
She decided. From then on. She wanted nothing to do with him. That is, if she lived through this.

"Alright."
He strapped the muzzle onto her, then checked all the other straps and things. With that all said and done, he lead her into the padded room, and left her in the back of the room. Quickly he exited the room, and closed the door, then bolted it shut with a variety of dead bolts and locks. Most of them had been replaced earlier, as usually he can barely contain himself. Valekin moved over to a console and turned on the speakers in the room, while looking out through a small slit of glass into the room.
He saw her in there.[/i]
"Now calamity, I will check back with you every once in a while, I will be watching and know that any attempts to take your own life will be thwarted. If you die out of madness, you die out of madness. But suicide will not happen. You put yourself in this position, you wanted to be here, and here you are. A week, two at the most."

"Alright."
He had strapped it on, and then would make his final adjustments. Checking her over, those eyes looking out at him, taking one last glance before he'd lead her into the room.
He couldn't get her in there quick enough, and he would flea from the room sooner then he had pushed her in. With her back to the door, listening to the clicks and what not as he'd lock the door behind him.
She hadn't faltered, or even moved. Not yet.
Instead she stood in place, letting her body get used to the restraints. Wondering how much motion she'd actually have, and now as Valekin spoke she began to slightly move within her jacket.
"Now calamity, I will check back with you every once in a while, I will be watching and know that any attempts to take your own life will be thwarted."
Now, she'd draw her head upwards. Her eyes glancing towards the speaker as his voice trailed on the last part of the sentence.
"If you die out of madness, you die out of madness. But suicide will not happen. You put yourself in this position, you wanted to be here, and here you are. A week, two at the most."
"Can you assure me..that I still hold my job at the restaurant?"
Why was she bringing that up? Of all times, now??
She was running. It's what she did. Dancing around the matter at hand.

"Then you're figuratively dead."
He said, turning off the mic and the speakers in the room. He sat back in a chair, and watched the monitor. The screen displayed the entire room from several cameras in there. It was going to be a long watch, until she was over the suicidal hump and into the insane hump. Then he could remove the straitjacket and muzzle. That's when things got interesting. What people did without straight jackets on when they were going through some serious madness.
"This is going to be a long night. I wonder when she'll fall asleep."
This would provide some good data on the eccentricities of people going through a mental break down. All she had to do was get herself into a panic, and then it'd start. Soon she wouldn't like being in there, and she'd start to panic, and plea. But he wouldn't hear her, and she'd start to go mad.

"Then you're figuratively dead."
Licking her lower lip, swallowing. Now, she'd tilt her head to the side. Letting those blue eyes take notice of the room, the walls.
She stood still, but only for a few more moments before she'd turn herself about. Letting her back slam against the padded wall, and soon letting that frame fall to the floor, sliding along the wall.
Head canted down. Bringing her legs under her, in an Indian style before she'd look towards the door.
And now she was letting her teeth grind against one another. Tongue flicking along that lower lip again.
The realization of what she had done was finally sinking in.

He sat back and watched her on the monitor. The two weeks would pass for him faster than it would for her. Unfortunate for her, as she was the one going through the madness. Two weeks was a short period of time in one's life anyway. Not like she was going to die in there of actual madness. Just bits of her would die, mostly fear would. To be truly fearless like Valekin was, you needed to be a certain kind of crazy.
He watched her.
And made sure she did nothing stupid.
"Good luck Calamity."
He smirked.
"Hopefully you'll survive yourself."

Her chest had tighten, the thought of it. She was locked in there. Actually locked. With no way of getting out...let alone getting that jacket off. She was stilling on this for a moment, letting those eyes look downwards, trying to get a good luck at her jacket.
And as her chest tightened, she swallowed. Trying to steady her breathing.
What happened when it got dark? Would it be dark forever?
She was locked in there. Seriously.
Trapped within that small area.
Claustrophobia was setting in.
Clamping her teeth down tightly, trying to block the memories out. The harsh memories of her mother.

He returned, right on time. Just as he promised. He unlocked the door, and stepped inside, sharpening a particular claw with his knife, watching what he was doing, only occasionally looking at the would be form of an insane Calamity. It had been 2 weeks, that was how long he left her in there, with the exception of supplemental visits. Like removing her from her straight jacket, chaining her to the ceiling after letting her strip by herself (or helping her if she was catatonic), and turning on the shower for a while. Letting the warm soapy water bathe her.
"Tell me Calamity, what should 'They' do?"
All die....
He watched her, and would gauge her reaction. Seeing if she gave the right answer. If she did, then she was insane, or saying it so he would let her go, in which case would make her insane in this particular position because she knew that he wasn't going to just let her go. There were things that needed to be done.

Blue eyes had been focussed on the floor, and as Valekin entered they remained so. Who else would it be? No one knew she was missing, no one. And she knew it... no one would have came looking. And if they had?
Valekin would have slit their throats.
Chapped lips twitched in the corners, pulling up right into a small smile as she thought of that.
She'd been alone, and had plenty of time to think.
Plenty of time.
She heard the familiar scuff of Valekin's boots moving about the floor.
Was it bath time again?
She'd shift her weight from one side to the other, she was silent. As always.
Legs were crossed beneath her, and as she had shifted her weight a few strands of hair fell into her face. Black roots now formed upon her normally pretty pink hair, and in large amounts. If anyone who had really known her came into that room looking for her, they would have turned away.
Her throat was parched. And as Valekin walked about, she was silent still.
She had made a failed attempt at swallowing her tongue, and she thought she had been paying the price for it. By staying there, trapped within those walls. They had been closing in, on that first night.
When she had sworn up and down the air flow to the room had been cut off. Where she had hyperventilated and thrashed about as she screamed for air. But eventually she had laid down, let that body fall to the floor in a mess of hair and tears.
She had lost track. Of time, day. She almost wondered, if Valekin did set her free...would it be day...or night?
"Tell me Calamity, what should 'They' do?"
Eyes slowly looked up at him, strands of hair falling back from her face as she did so. Watching him, head tilting to the side as she saw the knife, licking her lower lip.
".......Caaaaaalamity?"

"Yes, that's your name. Are you ready?"
He asked, wondering if she was ready to see the world through new eyes. New more powerful eyes. Eyes that would notice everyone and everything. They'd notice just how things go down, and why. He walked towards her a bit more. Testing her, to see if she was territorial or what. Gaging her reaction. He wanted her to be genuinely insane, not fake insane. Fake insane was faked, and too obvious.
"Are you ready to live for real now?"

"Yes, that's your name. Are you ready?"
A thin brow would rise. And she'd almost scowl, almost. Instead she sat there, leaning to the side as she'd let her legs untuck from beneath her as if she was trying to get to her knee's. And she was, lifting herself slowly.
She'd take note of Valekin watching her. Becouse she was watching him.
Letting her head tilt to the side rather violently, strands of hair falling in her face as she'd catch his movements in the corner of her eye.
"Are you ready to live for real now?"
Lips curling upwards again, eyes hidden behind that veil of hair before she'd finally let her body raise to stand. Blowing a few strands of hair from her face before letting those blue eyes find Valekin.
"Of couuurse."

He walked around behind her, started to undo the jacket. Unstrapping the straps, untying the ties, undoing it all. Instead of cuffing her like he usually did, he walked away, folding the jacket as he did so. When he reached the door, he tucked the jacket under his arm, and opened it. She was free to do what she wanted now. She could leave if she wanted, and explore the world through her new set of eyes, or she could stay and look around the factory.
"You're free now, really free."
He said as he left the room, he went in an adjacent room, and set the jacket next to another more complicated one. It looked like parent and child. One small jacket, one large jacket. Crazy stuff isn't it? Keeping straightjacket's around like they were toys.
