Leon reached back to punch Mathew in the face again when the guys legs wrapped around his neck too. They would yank hard to pull him off, and it was chocking him. Leon was holding onto Mathews hair though. Leon would throw his right elbow back to hit Mathew in the thigh, but it was inebidable and Leon would be pulled off. Rolling over his head to refrain from getting trapped he'd stand up and take a step back.
He'd give Mathew time to get up, and return this to a brawl. Leon really didn't like grapple fights. They where annoying. Though he could do it, it was alot of strain and less a show of power and more a show of smarts. Leon didn't think when he faught he just did and grappling made him think.

Leon would get his last shot in to Mathew's thigh but once again he was protected from most of the impact because of his coat leaving only a slightly annoying tingle where the blow hit. Mathew would get up off of the ground when Leon rolled off of him and like his fellow Dragon Mathew would let him regain his footing before he burst out in to laughter as he reached up to touch the small trickle of blood on his face before looking at it with a surprisingly pleased look.
"You know..." He would say suddenly looking over at Leon. "I missed this." He would say honestly. Leon would know more then the onlookers that he meant it since Mathew had a moral code of never telling a lie. He prided himself on the fact that every word he said was true. Didn't mean he couldn't deceive someone. It just required making people think you said what you didn't. But twisting the truth was diffrent then lying in his eyes.
After all lying was for cowards with no sense of honor. And if nothing else Mathew had his own sense of honor. It didn't normally match with what most people thought of as right but he didn't believe in chaos. Without order there was no point in having ambition and he was overflowing with ambition. Once again Mathew would stand at the ready for Leon to attack preferring to exploit moves that Leon sent against him rather then open himself up. Besides with this many onlookers he didn't want to give away everything that he had up his sleeves. Not yet anyways.

Leon could feel his Qi flow returning, but it wasn't charged yet. He needed a bit more time before he would be back up to full strength and speed. His punches would of done way more damage if he could of put his Qi into them, but thats fine. If he had to he would take them off. But that was a last resort. The courtyard belonged to him. And he wouldn't lose it over being unstrategic. Seemed Mathew was waiting for Leon to do something. All his opponent moves required quick attacks, and Mathew was fast. Didn't that suck. Either way Leon would drop his form and walk towards Mathew with no visible give aways of attack, if need be he would just let his body attack. He'd look directly at Mathew's eyes so not to give away a target of attack.
He was waiting for a feeling and he would just let his body react to that feeling, a slight tickle to the back of his neck and his left fist would leave the back swing of his step and shoot forward, leaving his fist verticle instead of twisting it like a boxer, he would use more power that way and less meaning to just cutting the skin. It would be aimed for Mathew's chest. His right arm raising up like a boxer to guard his chest in the same instent. He was just buying time.
Now what Mathew said didn't catch Leon off guard. He already knew why he was laughing. Leon had seen it done many times before. Fighting someone on the same level as you will cause you to do that. Pain and blood isn't something these people experience very often.

So he wasn't in a talking mood. That was fine with Mathew. He was just excited about this. He didn't know what Leon was thinking but if he did he would have agreed he couldn't remember the last time he bled in a fight even if he has had worse sitting at a high elevation. He would watch Leon as he approached him though. This was not a tactic that would catch him off guard since he did a similar thing before pulling off one of his more.... fancy moves.
The actual attack Leon launched though was surprising. Not because it was an effective attack but because it was.... well in Mathew's opinion it was stupid to just launch a punch at your enemy like that. Well it was stupid when your enemy was a Dragon. As Leon's left arm shot out at him Mathew would turn his body so that the arm would miss him and block his other arm from attacking him as well as his legs. Reaching out Mathew would attempt to grab Leon's left arm while it was extended and he would pull it outward to hyper extend it before smashing his right palm in to Leon's elbow in order to break it. Should that happen Mathew would keep ahold of his arm and twist it trying to bring his... friend down with sheer pain.

'Thats right! Grab it!'
Leon felt the energy return in full blast, as his arm broke, Leon would super charge his left arm with electricity. Aimed to shock the hell out of Mathew who was keeping hold of him. This would hopefully keep him busy long enough for the Lightning Dragon to throw his right fist forward aimed once again for Mathews face charged with electricity. So a broken arm would be a hindrence for now. Broke at the elbow? Well if anything he could just wail on Mathew with the limp blunt object dangling from his arm.
Not the smartest tactic, but it was possible.

Mathew felt the satisfying crunch as he broke Leon's arm and a grin would form on his face as this fight took a turn in his favor. He had Leon now where he wanted him. He would twist Leon's arm hoping to bring him down when he felt a large jolt course through his body shocking him. It was new and unexpected. He never thought that Leon could do something like that. His first instinct was to let go of Leon but, he would cling to the broken arm for dear life. It was his foothold and he could take the pain. It was going to turn in to a battle of endurance now it seemed. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW" Mathew would yell out in pain as the electricity coursed through his body but his grip would tighten on the arm as his eyes bulged in the pain he had not felt in ages. BAM! Leon's fist connected with Mathew's cheek sending another painful shock through his system and causing him to move fly backwards pulling on Leon's broken arm as he did so. Gritting his teeth in pain he would pull back on the boy as they flew backwards to get him closer before Mathew would kick out with both of his legs in a midair dropkick style blow in his midsection, all the while grasping that arm for dear life which would likely cause Leon's body to be pulled in two directions from the force of his kick and from Mathew pulling on his arm. He already saw the end of this fight. It would likely end like their last one had.

"Gah!"
Leon let out that grunt/yell as he was drop kicked and pulled along. Leon's will power and deturmination was unfortunately for many people, unrivalled. He had this problem with going down easily. He has been told that he was born for the simple reason of fighting, and an insane outlook on the way he faught. Sure Leon's arm was being stretched and it hurt like a bitch, even with his Endorphines being activated.
But his LEFT arm would make a fist, he hadn't lost muscle control, people just usually stop using muscles when bones break. He'd pull himself towards Mathew, pulling his legs in behind the Earth Dragon's ankle, and he'd slam his fist downward into his knee, for a midair brake. The electricity coursing through his fist giving him that extra needed power.

Mathew would let out a grunt of pain as he felt another shock course through his system, the force of the punch knocking him down. Mathew was also stubborn for the sheer fact that he didn't like to lose. Even if it was something stupid. If he was going to fold he wanted it to be because he saw gain in surrender. But being beaten was not something that he liked.
Mathew had no choice but to take the blow but what he could do was grab on to Leon's other fist when it hit him so he could stop him from punching him. Whether or not he got ahold of Leon's fist Mathew would shift his body to spin them midair before they got in a crash landing with the forces of gravity. With luck this would mean Leon would be on the bottem when they crashed. Should both of these events happen and Mathew was now on top and grasping both of Leon's arms he would send his head down to attempt to slam in to Leon's nose. He wanted to get him down before he could fucking shock him again!

Mathew was how do you say; out of his element. The air was Leon's territory so when he felt Mathew shift his weight, Leon shifted using the feet planted in his chest, to help the rotation Mathew wanted, only to go faster, to bypass Leon from being on bottom and have them both hit at one time. Leon had no plan beyond that, his Qi was almost depleted. He'd kick his foot forward trying to jam it between Mathew's legs from underneath, just to basically be stomping on his balls sack, and he would push off to get away from Mathew, if not then it would hurt like fuck. Alittle taste of his own medicine. Leon regularly wouldn't attack such a weak point.

Things don't always work out the way you want them too and that was fine with Mathew. His body would slam in to the ground next to Leon's body. Both men would have to obey gravity and crash in to the ground causing a small crater in the school grounds from the impact. Sadly while Mathew did do the damage to Leon he was hoping for it did leave him in a position for counterattack now and he had no choice but to take the blow to the balls with a grunt. A blow like that hurt even with the Earth Dragon Coat. He felt the pain and dull throbbing from the blow but he was not about to let a little pain get the best of him. Unfortunately it did hurt him enough that he was forced to let go of Leon's arm allowing him to put some distance between him and Mathew.
Not one to sit and wallow in pain Mathew would pick himself up out of the crater dusting himself off casually more to show off that he was fine then anything, but he always was a bit of a showoff. Then he would make as if his knees were buckling and drop down on to one knee clutching the ground as if trying to hold himself up. And who could blame him after such a blow. He wasn't that badly hurt though and he would imagine that Leon knowing him would know that. But it was still best to see what he did. He would probably press the offensive but it was possible that he would turn his back to Mathew instead.

Leon tilted his head a little after getting up. He would let the broken limb dingle dangle at his side, the other one up and ready to fight. He was already in fighting order by the time Mathew decided to go to a knee. Guess he figured it was break time? Leon was sure it wasn't over an injury. And without his Qi it didn't matter to him, every second he got to chill and recharge was great. Leon wouldn't turn his back to Mathew, instead he would circle him and look for an opening. If Mathew decided to change his mind about break time then Leon would need to find a way to get closer to the clock tower.
The power from the clock tower would be a good recharge, he'd be able to use it's seemingly endless suply of energy to keep himself going and make it look like he used a lot of power. But instead it won't even be his, just transfered energy. Without the clocktowers power source he would be fighting with just his own energy and recharging would take alot longer. If he could get back next to that clock tower he'd get his Qi back. His gloves wouldn't work yet, but he'd be able to make this fight more "Shock and awe".

Well it looked like Leon wasn't going to take the bait. That was a shame. Mathew would let out a fake grunt as if he was really hurting clutching his chest and the ground in pain. This of course was a show as Mathew's real goal was the ground. In his hand he now had a small amount of dirt which in capable hands such as his could turn in to a weapon that could turn an even fight in to his favor. Best part was he knew he had never done this to Leon before.
With his weapon in hand he would launch himself from the ground like a sprinter going for a tactic Leon had never seen Mathew do. He would launch himself in to the air, thats right the Earth Dragon was taking flight. Mathew's right leg was outstretched aiming for Leon's face in a move that was very similar to the one that Leon had done against him before. Only Mathew didn't quite fight like Leon and he was expecting this move to fail. He was almost counting on it.

Leon's eye brow raised in extreme interest as he noted Mathew going airiel. That was new, and a page out of one of his books? Today was just full of surprises wasn't it? Leon's knee's bent even more, but not that much, it would be noticable, but not too much. As Mathew's foot would come in, Leon would spin really fast, rotating to his left, but moving his body to the right, he would bring his left foot around, quickly bringing it up behind him and shooting the heel out to smash into Mathew's gut. Using his momentum and weight against him.
He'd do the kick pretty much behind him, but he would keep spinning so he could turn towards him, and once that was done he would push down hard with his left foot to slam Mathew to the ground, where it would look like the blonde was stepping on The "Earth" Dragon, like he was just another part of the ground.

If there is one thing that Mathew learned in the many fights he had been in was that one had to make sacrifices in order to gain anything. Leon chose to let his arm be broken to shock Mathew just as Mathew now chose to allow himself to be hit with this stupid attack. The foot would hit Mathew before slamming him in to the ground hard enough that if he was another man he might very well be hurting badly.
As he fell Mathew would move in to action his arm shot out throwing the sand that he had grasped before right at Leon's face. His aim was to get sand in Leon's eyes allowing Mathew to work while Leon was at less then full visibility. IT had worked on many people back home and he had no reason to think it wouldn't work in California.
Still Mathew would crash in to the ground with enough force to make a small crater in the ground. If he was anyone else he might very well have been down for the count. As it was now he was only mildly sore and had tons of steam left to keep going. He wasn't the Earth Dragon for nothing. When he got going he was like a tank that just would not go down.
No matter the result of the sand attack once he was down Mathew would grab at Leon's leg that was pinning him down and with all of his might he would twist it in an attempt to get Leon to fall down. This way he could try and take advantage of the fallen and hopefully blinded Leon.

Sand, plus eyes, yeah I know. Sucks, right? Anyways, As soon as the sand would of hit his eyes, he'd finish his move and back off quickly. He had blinded himself with a blind fold alot in New York, but here it was different when he was blind. His sense of feel was insane when he concentrated. The electrical current or electro magnetic field the human body gives off, he could feel it, and the clock tower, he could feel it. The sand in his eyes hurt like a bitch, but he needed to now get to the clock tower, so he did so, he would move cautiously towards the strongest source of electro magnetic pulses, and using his sense of direction he would feel for wherever mathew was at the moment and hope he still had enough skill in blinde fighting to fend off attacks using feel and sound.
