I'm glad i wasn't the only one and yes i did come on only to say that. 552 was corrupted and it was way too easy to cheat stats, which people did. For those who know, How do you max ever base stat at 35 with only 671 posts? Thats right you can't even get to 35 in base stats until at least 1000 posts. So maybe it can get on track, but i doubt it. The only thing i do regret is that my sattirical IC post of a rant was lost  . Oh well no anarchy for me. The only thing i will miss though is my X-101 character, that's redundant maybe? Whatever. And after all that babbling, maybe i will rp here again, sort of, who knows? xD |

Bah, it needed cleaning. To cluttered with shit, though it made me ball when I heard about it lol, I hated what that place became after the the golden age ended (Third birthday) so I laugh! Though usually with a wipe comes rebirth normally, so who knows. Maybe it might go back into a golden age. (misses the days back in the first months of 552) I hope it rebirths =_= Like a phoenix reborn from it's ashes. Dunno like I said before most of us lost stuff from that wipe. I know I lost a lot of stuff I still reference and I am very happy that I transfered Mathew so I still have his bio. Still this wipe could be a good thing. They are rebuilding and it looked like they were discussing fixing some of the problems with the systems that they couldn't do without disrupting the role play. So who knows in the long run this could make it a better board. |

Oh after some more debacle I think Patrick is coming to 259 cuz ive got muse back for Xin boards. But I will rework end, leading up history for some more tragedy, buuuut I kinda need someones permision and in put  Plus with only a high constitution I can rp fight the way i like, getting the crap kicked out of and standing up again and again. xD Not to mention there are still some chars here I wanted Patrick to get beaten up by too xD |

552 isn't going anywhere - it's starting over.
I guess for the better, considering it did have a couple (ehhh, maybe more than one can count on his/her hand) problems. Some old faces are popping up, like Celeste, staff know what priorities to put before others, members are willing to start anew. I don't mind that my own sheets got deleted, because I just realized that I have it saved on my computer back at home (provided my dad doesn't mess with it while I'm in Korea, and yes, that means I was kind of angry that my sheets got deleted D: but it's all good now), I just think the reason behind the whole nuking-552 is ridiculously immature, not to mention stupid and unthoughtful.  |

I'm not really amused by it at all. I had alot of fun on that place until a few certain individuals made it... not so enjoyable. I guess I can vouch for everyone here when I say that, a majority of us, did have some crazy awesome memories on that place. I know I did. And if you deny it, you're lying to yourself. Because back in the day, most of us ran that place at one point or another.
Again, amusing as it sounds for the newbies and the douchebags that made the experience miserable for us in the end, it was all in good fun in the beginning. As it should be remembered. :[

Edit: I agree with Phishy. I want to start backing up my things now, but the sad thing is people shouldn't be afraid to lose all their information and threads and history and everything because someone decided to be an immature killjoy and went delete-happy.
How would you feel if it happened to 259? I'd be fucking furious to lose everything I've put into this place as well as what everyone else has done to build it up to what it is today.

@ally: I agree with you, I would be just as livid as you are if I lost all of the progress and growth I put into my characters. I mean, it's not even the profiles, it's the actions and memories... I guess... >.< I make sure every profile I make IS backed up, they're all in my computer. I mostly keep them for memories sake, but for this shit, too. =/
I can see how it can be funny, but I feel a bit bad for them, is all. At least, people who put hours on end into their characters and have them deleted by some sweaty, socially-retarded hacker decided it would be a fucking riot to see a board get wiped.
It's an invasion of creativity, really. I mean, if someone wiped my art account (had it for 4 years now), I would go off the proverbial deep end. My characters and my art mean a lot to me.
Yeah, you're shit-hot.
I give it a big fat MEH, hopefully it cleans up some of the assholes in 552.

Yeah so I've heard the stories, but honestly? A few jackasses, but overall not everyone was corrupted there. Quite a few of 259ers are either 552 transfers or have characters over there. And like Mitsuki said, they all lost all their history. That's so super lame, I don't give a shit who you are. It's like burning an entire photo album because there's a picture of a bogus ex boyfriend in it.
I'm sorry for all those who lost all their information, starting over or not. If it were me, it would be a crippling blow to my creativity.

Yeah, I don't dispute that. It wasn't fair at all, no one really deserved it. Even if it was a bit corrupt, that's tonnes of character history simply wiped off the face of the planet. And, like your metaphor, they won't come back either. Even if I ever do leave this board (pray never too soon), I'd love to come and see the things that happened before, remembering good times, right? It's just like a photo album, it's a collection of your favourite memories with other people.
I just hope that it's not too hard on them, I would be crushed
