Fucking Karel deserved it, thats all I gotta say. Quoted for fuckin truth. Everyone on that board except a choice few where fucking ass holes. To hear that 552 got wiped this morning made my day, it went from meh, to dude today is the best day ever. All 552 was, was OoC drama, the few moments that it had good IC moments was when the staff didn't know it happened. Yes, Though I agree with Faust, I had super cool moments on 552, 3-4 years ago. After that shit just rolled down hill. We may have all ended up running the board IC at one point or another, but what happens? You stop because you get tired of it, ass holes harrassing you about how you are a god modding cheat who never losses, or losses too much and dont diserve what it is you just did. So fuck, and I spit on the ashes. I hope there is a complete restart, statistical and everything. At least then there is a SLIM chance it will get better. I say slim because the people picking back up are still the same jack asses who where causing the OoC drama in the first place, not to mention Karel is admin. |

Though I must say that I'm glad 552 is getting a chance to fix it's problems, what you just said made me..I dunno. Sad that you said that, I guess. "Fucking Karel deserved it"? What about the fifty-sixty other people that were on the board? Did they deserve it? No. Did I deserve it? God, I hope not. The general populace of 552 was not happy with what Fumetsu did, but eventually we decided that it was for the better.
Karel isn't the only one effected by all this. There are other staff members that are hard at work. Think about Mikey - he works damn hard on this site. Now think about four, five Mikey's on one board trying to pull it back together with almost nothing. The rules have to be re-established, items, everything.
Stressful?
The reason behind what Fumetsu did is what pissed me off, but what can you do? He's not even on the board, apparently he didn't break any Proboard-rules. I mean, even if Proboards banned him, it'd be an IP ban, and it's so easy to get another one. >_>.. People can spam his E-mail with junk and flaming, but he can either A) get a new one or B) not check it? Laugh, even.
I myself am not exactly active on the site, but every once in a while I pop up and make a post, read old threads, check out the literature board, etc. It was the board that got me started into Xin, and frankly, if it weren't for 552, a good majority of us wouldn't even be here. And although I'm sure that a lot of people can agree with me that 552 was more maed of WI11innn back 3, 4 years ago, you have to admit, they're holding up pretty damn well.
And Leon, as far as I know - and although a complete restart is being discussed - I don't think it's going to happen. I'm not sure what they plan on doing with statistics as of yet. There are those who have their stats put into their profiles, but there are others like myself who had them in a separate thread (and, as you know, everything got deleted, so)..
Mannn... The thing that got me scared was what if it happens on the other RPing boards I'm on? On 259, Mitsuki is my most developed character as of yet. There was Hyunie/Destiny on 552, but she's 'dead'; Jayne on 552, but like I said - there's a small possibility (like Leon previously stated) that there might be a complete restart if enough people want it. And frankly, not a lot of people do, myself included.
I don't know. Maybe I'm more attached to 552 than I thought I was. o___o;
And Leon, maybe it might be because I didn't really look through the OOC boards that much, but I hardly saw any drama. Or at least, not as much as you make it sound. |

I shook Fumetsu's hand, posted that 552 got owned, on 552.
And had a nice laugh with the guy. He assured me 259 is safe from his wrath, whatever his reason may be I still enjoyed what he did.
Also i wouldn't compaire ANY 552 staff member to Mikey. Thats an insult to Hakfu-sama.

Oh yeah, if I'm not wrong, the staff is planning to pick up where the story was left off, without any threads for reference whatsoever. Kinda annoying, but I'm not leaving the board just yet. Will be more active here, though.

Well... I'm kinda of a newbie from 552, but... I got a lil' pissed at what happened. And honestly, after I heard that...
- Story will continue, as if nothing happened.
- They'll come up with a stupid solution to fix lost stats, and shit.
... I simply bumped my palm on my forehead, and... Here I am. I still got an outdated bio for my character, but nothing a few tweaks and fixes can't solve. ^^

well I'm just about done with 552. I was going to leave 5 mins before the wipe and then it happened. Then I began to feel maybe this could be a good thing. You know make it better. Well instead of starting with a clean slate anyone who has their files saved and on record lose no stats while those with nothing are basically forced from the beginning again with little to no compensation. If you ask me that makes things so much worse then they were. Well 259 I think I've found a new home  |

That's just fucking immature, just like your previous statement, you little twat. This whole situation is just slowly aggrivating me. ALL my shit was on that site. I didn't back up anything (surely a stupid move on my part) and it sucks for everyone else that thought the same way I did about that place. We all really grew up, met some awesome people, made some awesome memories on that site, and too see it all thrown away like that really bugs me. That someone who was a LITERAL NOBODY on that site to just wash away everyone's work is downright SELFISH. So fuck Fumetsu and screw anyone else that thought his "righteous" deed was anything more than the such. |

I still got an outdated bio for my character, but nothing a few tweaks and fixes can't solve. ^^ Actually, I'm trying to propose we do something more like Arcane Academy did when they restarted to help bring a closer stat balance between newbies and olbies. Sure, there newer members will still be stats behind the oldbies, but I'm hoping it will destroy the utter stat split between the two. The older members will hopefully be happy and the newer members might be more optimistic as well. As for the story, I'm trying to bring some sort of shift to justify it as well, and to help bring it into an opening quest for when the board starts back up. Nothing serious, perhaps what happened to the board like last time when they were constructing it again. Something simple but manageable to throw some basic items back out into the game. My main concern is trying to bring back the RP as quick as possible, but the other staff insist on the complicated stat methods. I myself am quite disappointed in all that has happened, and am doing my part to help restore the board. I'm not sure if I'm going to return to RPing there, I'm thinking of staying here now, but as staff, I'm obligated to at least watch over and make sure things start out well. I'm looking optimistically as I can, despite having to lose some sleep to help work with people who live on the other side of the world as me. |

What happened at 552 was bad, and selfish and childish. Some may find it funny, have your laugh, wipe the tear from your eye and move on. Stop rubbing it in the faces of those who are hurt by this event. It's not fair.
To those of you who will be transferring to 259, I say welcome, and don't worry too much about not having records to be checked against, you can still transfer here and we can make ends meet, just catch up with a staff member and we'd be happy to help you.
Now, as a board, let's move on shall we? Enough of this.

Lawl. I lost some of the most epic fights I have ever had when that board went up, some of which involving quest characters not even related to Hiroko at all, do I think its sucks that I will not be able to look back at the past? Sure, but I have memories, if you can not remember something enough to be satisfied, then you do not need to remember it, plain and simple. Do I find it hilarious? Oh you bet your ass. You bet your fuckin' ass, not because the board is bullshit.. (mind you th..nevermind we wont go there).. anyways. Not because the board is bullshit, but because of the whole situation, I don't care what you say, it was wrong, sure, it was not "righteous" either, but to Fumetsu. Hats off. You did what only ONE other person has done in the form of terrorist actions towards 552, and we made that bitch an Admin. So. Come collect your mod status.
I had a few bio's I still referenced now and then, not even Hiroko's, ones I had littered in the Student Directory, Aiden, Christians old bio, Katsuri. I had more history on that site then probably anyone in this god damn thread save for maybe Faust. I don't want to hear boo hoo's. It was funny. It was cruel. Get the fuck over it. The sites been around for 6 almost 7 years and has been blasted by board wide wipes 4 times, and several more wipes inbetween that time of Threads, Bio's, and Members for that matter. People have had more rides then the town hooker.
Either way, does not matter. 552 is older then hell, and something older then hell does not just disappear, but I am personally glad the shit got wiped, the boards turned into alot MORE ego strutting about who did what in the last few years, now there is no proof of anything to strut about, but at the same time it is kinda saddening to see a lot of memories disappear from hard copy, now all I have is my brain to rely on. You gotta take the good with the bad. - Shrug. -
