[Mitsukai]

Feline eyes slowly slid open as Mitsukai finally woke up after god knows how long. It had not taken very long for the little girl to fall into deep sleep once the sedative had been administered, in fact she could barely remember what happened just before she was taken down to the operation site. Anytime she tried to think her head felt all muffled and foggy. With a small groan she would turn her head to look around as her vision finally cleared up. She was back in the master bedroom with Ryu fast asleep in the chair next to her.

ahhh........what happened........where are we? a familiar voice resounded in her head. Looked like after a few days Nami had finally woken up, just in time to see what was going on. The darker side let out a low warning growl inside Mitsukai's mind as she registered the presence of the male in the room. She knew this man just as well as her light had. That man was an enemy to the both of them and his presence now while in this condition he was an immediate threat.

Before Mitsukai could even register what happened Nami took control. Her red eye fixating on Ryu, that look filled with hatred and contempt. Just like how Mitsukai had first woken up confused as to how she got in that hotel a few days before Nami felt the same sort of confusion. But that confusion was also mixed with suspicion. However her light side came to be in the same room as this son of a bitch one thing could be certain. That somehow those damn fools Kevala and Gabriel were behind this. They wanted to destroy both her and her other half and they choose this man to do it. If they were both going to survive this Ryu had to be disposed of.

Nami's hand would reach out towards his sleeping form to grab a hold of his neck or something but her body felt so heavy and so tired it was almost impossible to get it to move. Already she Nami's hold on the body began to weaken. Whatever was running through her system was making it so hard to keep focus. With another little growl Nami would slip back into the corners of Mitsukai's mind. Eyes going back once again to their golden hue as the original host regained control. That hand fell back weakly onto the bed and Mitsukai would let out another groan. God she was feeling off today.

[Ryu Hayabusa]

Berserker stirred in his meditation as the feeling of Nami briefly filled the air. It faded in short order, but it was quite enough to rouse Ryu from the inner parts of the mind. His eyelids snapped open and razor thin halo irises were shown before the pupil contracted and his lids flickered open and shut as Ryu's eyes adjusted to the light of the room. Breathing in, Ryu straightened up and cracked his spine in multiple places in a stretch. Rounding out his neck, he looked over the girl laying in front of him before glancing at the clock. It was already late....

"Hey." He said rather warmly, looking at her again. "How are you doing?" Leaning forward in the chair, his elbows sat on his knees and his eyes glowed softly as he looked her in the eyes. Pain might be evident considering they didn't have her on morphine any more, but he'd need to know that she was doing alright before he could go get meds Kisaragi had suggested.

Yes at ten at night.

I did say Shady, didn't I? Black Market shit? Yah. That shit.

Any ways, Ryu's right hand reached over to the bed and grabbed the note book, opening it and glancing down, somewhat like an actual doctor.

[Mitsukai]

"Hey." "How are you doing?"

Ryu's voice broke her momentary confusion. She had not known that she had been possessed, the take over had been so brief and her mind so clouded that she was unaware of what happened. Blinking up at his blue eyes shewould turn her attention towards his question......Was she okay? Well besides her fucked up state from the sedative she had been given she was alright she guessed. Then again she was already getting feeling back, meaning that she was starting to feel the pain from her injuries.

"I guess I'm okay." she answered. "Though feeling is coming back."

[Ryu Hayabusa]

Scanning the first page of the notebook, he closed it again and lifted a hand towards her leg. A little light prodding on her thigh and calf would tell him just how much swelling there was. "That good? or bad?" He asked, commenting with a small smile on her notion that feeling was returning. To be honest, there was quite a bit of swelling from the surgery, but Ryu had an herbal remedy in the note book just for that along with half a dozen vitamins for tissue repair and Glucosamine supplements for the joint itself. And then there were her ribs and arm... Well, lets just say she'd be getting enough calories to live off of from the pills alone.

His hand would settle on her smooth calf again, prodding along her lower leg. "You can still feel every thing, yeah?" Couldn't exactly do a reflex test, now could you? "How about your arm and chest? Everything feel okay? ...Well, as okay as you can get..." He trailed off, realizing the relative stupidity of his statement. Everything on the girls body ought to be working just fine from here on, but it was always good to check and recheck everything. He'd probably be doing that every day until she was back to one hundred percent.

Looking her in the eye after that, his voice lowered slightly, his tone becoming slightly more somber. "And how are you?" He was referring to her emotional and mental state. Ryu's doctor-like side could help her injuries just fine, but physical care wasn't likely to be all she needed.

"That good? or bad?"

Mitsukai winced at the light probbing, yup feeling was definitely coming back to her now. The leg was most likely swelling by now. "It hurts a bit but not much." she admitted, chances were as her sense of feeling returned it would hurt a lot more, for now she could live with it.

"You can still feel every thing, yeah?" "How about your arm and chest? Everything feel okay? ...Well, as okay as you can get..."

She closed her eyes for a second to feel the current state of her body to answer his question. Her chest she could feel a very dull stabbing pain with each breath she took, it was not much really; only a slight annoyance but otherwise okay. Her arm she supposed was fine as well.

"Everything is fine I suppose." she responded her eyes opening once again to look back into Ryu's own husky eyes. They really were quite beautiful if one really looked into them.

"And how are you?"

She blinked for a minute in confusion, unsure at the time what he had meant, and THEN it sunk in. "I-I'll be okay....I guess..." she said her gaze falling away from him as a small blush crept back up on her face. She herself did not know if those words were true. She had not been really thinking about everything that had happened so far, a part of her was scared to. Afraid of what she had to face because of all of this. Eventually Mitsukai would have to confront what happened, but as for what she would do, and what she would do about Kevala and Gabriel afterwards was a mystery.

[Ryu Hayabusa]

Ryu couldn't help but smile a sort of sad smile at the girl as she looked away. Leaning forward in the chair, his left hand reached for the side of her head. The same petting motion that he'd used a couple of times already. She seemed to enjoy it, and it ought to make her feel better, right? "Yeah. You will be." He said in a relatively quiet voice, the tone denoting an 'I'll see to that' edge to the words. Yep. He already cared for the girl, even he himself could see it, when others tended to realize it before the parties actually involved. Just how much, though, was something he didn't yet know. He was attracted to her, she was a gorgeous girl, but just what capacity did he want to take it to? Just what capacity did he consider it now? That's what he didn't know.

After a minute, his hand would come away from her head and he'd stand up, taking the notebook with him. "Well, I'm exhausted," He said with a slight chuckle, "And until the anesthesia fully wears off, you're probably going to drift in and out. It should be done running through your system by the morning, then we'll see if we can't get you moving around a little bit." Walking away from her, he walked into the closet, fiddled with the security system a touch-- turning off most of the lights in the place--, and took his jacket off of the hook inside the door.

"Since you're alright for now," He'd say, walking back out, "I'm going to go get somethings that will help start the actual healing process. Sleep if you can, try not to die of boredom if you can't, and I'll bring a TV up here in the morning." With a smirk.

Walking towards the door, he'd turn off the lights of the huge bedroom, " 'Night, Mitsukai."

She couldn't help but lean in a little to his touch, her eyes closing once again. She did like it when he petted her like that though she did not know why. Mitsukai was not very used to touch, hell it took her awhile to get used to hugs from Kevala, even then she only really allowed such physical contacts from friends. This felt much different from the feelings she normally got from her friends. What was it about Ryu that made that so different? It was something Mitsukai would eventually have to find out later.

Mitsukai would give a soft sigh as Ryu got up again, eyes slowly sliding back open. She could feel herself getting tired again even before he mentioned that she would be drifting in and out of sleep. Looked like she was not going to be up for very long.

" 'Night, Mitsukai."

"Night Ryu." She would say before he left the room, his footsteps echoing through the empty hall outside the door. Eventually Mitsukai's eyes slid back to a close as she finally fell asleep for the rest of the night.

Nami was not yet at full strength, whatever drugs was running through Mitsukai's system had taken it's toll on both girls so even if she took over now there was little she could do.

Though Mitsukai had been unaware of Nami's awakening the darker half had been watching the interaction between the pair and she did not like what she saw.....not one bit....

At first she thought that Ryu was going to hurt or even kill little Mitsukai but that now did not seem to be the case.....he was actually caring for her wounds, that in itself was not the problem. After all Mitsukai was in bad shape thanks to her and needed to heal.....No that was not the problem.....the problem was his motives for doing so....

It did not take a genius to see that Ryu was interested in the smaller girl. He had made it plainly obvious, even though Nami still could not recover all of Mitsukai's memories from when she first woke up in that hotel room there was enough in there to help piece together the situation. Ryu wanted the girl, he had seen Mitsukai in a way that he shouldn't and now he was after her. What made the situation worse was that Mitsukai herself though unaware of her own feelings was starting to like the man. Such thoughts could only lead to bad things.

What an innocent little fool! Nami hissed in rage. Does she not realize the danger of such beasts? In Nami's mind there was only one thing men wanted from any woman, and that was sex. If Nami's speculation was correct the second that Mitsukai fully recovered he would make his move, and if Mitsukai refused him.......well it wouldn't be surprising if he just took her by force. There would be no stopping him if he tried, Ryu was still too strong for either girl to take on by themselves he would easily overpower them. There was no way Nami could allow this to continue.

Something had to be done about this and fast. Though now was not the time.....she just had to wait till Mitsukai healed to act swiftly. For now though all that could be done was to wait. Wait and observe in silence what would occur between the two and hopefully find out the man's weakness.

It would only be a matter of time before Ryu let his guard down and when he did, Nami would be waiting.....
