Kevala was finally back on her feet, having just gotten out of the hospital from the stay after her ordeal with that guy from school. So naturally, she wanted to speak to Gabriel.
But this time was different, she was different. There was something off about her, or at least it appeared that way. But to her, she was doing something she should have done awhile back.
Making her way to his home, she would nod toward the security as they spotted her, a somewhat friendly smile given though not as bright and happy as it had always been before.
As she made her way to the door, she would stop, knocking....Yes, she knocked...
It was odd for her, but she did it none the less.
Now, she would wait. She had a few matters she needed to discuss with him. Another knock, and then ringing the door bell. She would wait for either him or Ivan to answer..or whoever was in there at the current time.

Of course Gabriel was a lot better off than he'd been in the past recurring days, not so much of the binge drinking, not so much smoking and certainly now he was at the very least presentable to company so he'd allow for himself to answer the door hopefully it wouldn't be the Jehovah's Witnesses that'd been roaming the block, he treated them nicely enough just didn't want to deal with them at the current instant.
Peeling free the door Gabriel made the door open with a tender grip peering out with a look of curiosity. Eyes settling downward slightly changed again back to their emerald hues. Normal, or so the surface would project.
"Good morning..." Gabriel would say pleasantly making way to let her in should Kevala take that option.

As the door opened she would look up into his eyes, nodding her head politely as he spoke and slipping past him to make her way inside. Making very sure that she did not come close to him.
"Good morning Gabriel."
Her tone very calm and very emotionless. Not to off, but enough to show that there was a change in her none the less. She would take a few steps inside, and then stop, turning back to look at him and push a bit of her hair from her face.
"I see you are doing better."
She could tell he was not doing as badly as he had been, but he still looked a bit off. Not that she would let that bother her. She was simply stating fact.
"I came by to discuss a few matters with you. If that is okay?"
She would wait for his approval of this. If he did not wish to speak to her, then she would leave. Her hands tucking into her pocket as she kept her eyes upon his own. A very dull, calm look held within them.

"Yes quite actually." Gabriel made a welcoming smile negligent of the last few days that'd occurred, it was much like him to forget about the little things that eventually in the end meant nothing. He still cared about Kevala just not in the way she would have it. He couldn't stay angry with her too very long at that, especially at something that was his own fault in hindsight of things.
Gabriel strode at an even pace still having trouble walking at the pace he was accustomed to but not peculiar nor odd seeing as how he was regaining a bit of his old nature back. Powerful and fearsome at that.
"By all means, you're always welcome." Gabriel said in a comforting tone gesturing his hand out towards the seat offering one up before taking a short walk to the kitchen.
"Can I get you anything?"

She would nod softly as she followed him, those eyes watching him as she moved yet with no real regard other than to take note of his features. Mr. Mood Swings was a man you had to keep your eye on.
"Well it is good that you are doing better."
Then as she took the seat offered she would lean back, letting one leg cross over the other and her arms to cross over her chest, continuing to allow her eyes to follow him as he moved.
"Yes well, thank you for that."
Somehow, she did not feel welcome, but then that was just her. She had a lot of issues that people never got to see, and nobody really cared to know about. So nobody truly understood what went on in that mind of hers.
"No thank you. I do not want anything.'
A simple reply to his offer before she would speak up enough to allow him to hear her if he continued on into the kitchen.
"So I had an interesting visitor during my stay in the hospital."
She was here to get to the point and then go home. It was best. Business never left one hurting inside when it was done. So business is what it would be.

Gabriel nodded, cocking a brow as he grabbed himself a glass of water drinking it down quite well perhaps to cover up a hidden hangover still lingering on from a time ago. Sure he was getting better but it didn't mean that he was by any means happy with himself. A bit cold on the inside, as unpredictable as ever.
"Ah, so is Mitsukai the odd one or are you referring to someone else?" Gabriel said with a bit of humor to his tone.
Rather than linger Gabriel made his way back into the entry way living room and found his set next to Kevala's so that he was positioned before hr keeping close watch of everything. He wasn't foolish by any means, so by that he'd not press anything personal. The recent change in appearance to a cold demeanor was frightening but in the same sense still very capable.

She simply watched him, noting his little joke and raising her brow slightly.
"No, I will get to her later. I am speaking of Matrim."
She would nod softly, shifting a bit in her seat as she placed her hands in her lap. A few longs strands of hair fell down across her eyes, and for now she left them there. No real need to move them as she held her gaze upon his own.
"Apparently I am to become a pillar again. Or at least that is the gist I got of this conversation. Among other things."
She shrugged softly, still the same cold and business like tone. She was simply here to inform him, knowing that anything concerning the pillars held some importance, though she did not know the details.

Gabriel sighed with a rather irritated expression. That boy just seriously needed a hobby. As if getting married to women after a short few months, playing super School Captain, Dynamic entry, Paranoid destroyer of worlds wasn't fun enough. Gabriel smiled a the thought quite amused at the mental image he'd attained though putting it to picture would get only a stick figure in a rather promiscuous position.
"Ah I suppose he's still as hell bent as ever... Do tell." Gabriel chuckled in a bit of humorous disposition implying that he was certainly unamused by the antics pulled.

She shrugged softly, those eyes flowing over his features for a moment before they fell down to her lap, observing her fingers as they lightly picked at the seam of her jeans.
"Same old story really. Wishes to know what I know. Though I can tell there is something more."
It was then she would look up to him once more, no change in her eyes, no mischief, no glint of slyness...nothing.
"I think you know what he is after."
She was no fool, everyone knew about her relationship or lack there of with Gabriel. Making her the perfect person to try and gain information from.
"I simply told him that there have been no new occurrences in the school, other than myself. He has offered to 'handle' the situation of the man who took me."

Gabriel laughed with a bit of mocking laced in it. Yup as expected Matrim wanted to play hero man again, by all means Gabriel wouldn't mind him doing so it was just a flaunting move that people grew tired of. Of course to be remembered required a bit of infamy attached. Gabriel had indeed earned his share of the sort, certainly enough to make him a target of fear and prejudice even when he remained unmoving.
"Let him play Superman as he finds fit, perhaps that'll get out a little bit of that pent up rage."
Gabriel chuckled.
"Hmm I don't suppose he's still obsessed with my demise is he?" That made him chuckle a bit more.
The suiting of the pillars in his opinion was far too foolish in its own contention. The two at the top, very angry, and easily manipulated, while Mitsukai, growing in her own respect would have thought to have been a poor choice but Gabriel could see the ingenuity of it. New minds made for easy working and later on things would pay off. As for Kevala the same action worked there, but their fatal flaw was thinking they understood her so well.

She shrugged once more, thinking over the proper way in which to respond to that. No smile cracking upon her feature, just the calm, serious expression she had held since she sat down.
"He will not say as much to me. You know as well as I that people are aware of where my loyalty stands. Or at least where I say it does."
She paused there, her eyes again drifting downward to watch as her hand brushed against her thigh, a bit of fuzz having caught her attention and needing to be dealt with.
"But I believe that he thinks he can manipulate me. I will keep attention upon the subject, and as always lead him down the wrong path if need be."
Finally her eyes would make their way back up to him.
"Which brings me to Mitsu. I feel that she has taken to this position she believes she holds rather well, however she is still resistant. I think that she would find no problem speaking to him of you. Again, I will keep my eyes and ears open to the matter. Should I find out she has spoken of anything I will deal with the matter."

Gabriel chuckled quite amused despite the serious manner of these things, it was odd because quite honestly Gabriel hadn't budged in some time, his motions still and slow as ever just building more than before. It was still very curious though that Gabriel was still watched as threat numero uno. It made him feel dark and deceitful as ever.
"I don't have any worry about Mitsukai, not that she's incompetent simply put I've done nothing at all to concern her attentive glance. Besides, I don't think she'd betray you of all people."
Gabriel said hinting at a maneuver she could accomplish sometime in the future. Course Gabriel played his cards better than anyone. He was a devious manipulator when need be.
"Anything else pressing?"

She thought the matter over for a moment and then shrugged softly.
"I cannot think of anything else really. I suppose that other than that I do not have much to report. Oh, aside from some mild distaste I have for Gil. I feel you should know I was rather harsh with him not that long ago."
Yes, she had forgotten all about that, but now, with her mind working a bit more clearly, she figured she might as well throw that out there.
She shrugged softly, her hand brushing back her hair finally she would sigh and then allow herself to sit forward a bit more.
"Is there anything you require of me?"
She thought best that she ask. Needing to make sure before she went home or to the studio.

Gabriel chuckled again his mood however damp was feeling quite revealed by the seriousness of the outside world however mild it was compared to his own ideal amount of change he could take this brief moment to enjoy the disarray that was about this nature and time.
"He's a big boy, sure he'll get over it."
Gabriel grinned at that thought considering the implications, "sexual favors? No I believe that's all I need, lest of course you have something on your mind... Always here to listen."

She thought over what he said and would shrug, shaking her head lightly as she found her eyes upon his own once more.
"I have nothing left to say Gabriel."
The slightest hint of sadness in her tone before it disappeared. She could not let herself show any form of emotion. It was a weakness she had and one she would overcome if it killed her.
"I need not bother you with such trivial matters any longer."
She forced a smile, the best she could manage at this moment before she would quickly change the subject.
"As for Gil, I simply informed him that I did not want anything to do with him so long as he pretends to be a generic version of yourself. I do not trust him."
It was true, and she felt the need to make her concern known.
