Kevala simply stood there, watching as he entered the house and taking only a few steps back as she waited....She heard him, it was hard not to in the silence which surrounded them.
And then, the fire came and instantly the house was consumed. Honest to gods she loved the feel of the air right now...His power causing a shiver to run down her spine as her crimson eyes looked over the burning debris of what used to be her home.
She grinned, that sick and twisted look that she had held so many times before. She was happy it was over and she knew how much it taxed Gabriel to do this for her. She was no fool, but she had not known where else to go.
She could never really repay him for all he had done for her since she had known him...but she would give her life trying.
For now...she felt like a weight had been lifted....for once, she did not feel as burdened with the past as she had before.
