Eating lunch at school, there was a new concept. sitting down at a table in the cafeteria surrounded by his bros Victor calmly bit into his sandwhich, savoring the taste of each layer, the tangy miracle whip, the crunch of the lettuce, the sweetness of the onions, the biting sweetness of the honey roasted turkey, the slight zing of the mustard and the juicy delight of the tomato (dammit now I want lunch)
chewing Victor scanned the room, as the moments of truth grew closer he needed to see what he could do about meeting new people, finding new blood to train with, to have join his new force as the truth would soon be revealed
he already had many who where going to be loyal to him in the coming time, however he had no second in command, he had no one he could truly trust... and perhaps it was better that way, made for less liability.
plus, it would need to be someone very likeminded to himself at this point, and he couldn't quite imagine anyone at the school like that...
and yet he looked anyway, just a curious gaze across the lunchroom, so many things could be observed in so little time, and so much gossip to overhear
truly it was the best time of day

The stoic face of a once renowned champion sat relativity unbeknownst by the school of public high school #259, it had been odd but something much more so appreciated. It had been awhile since he'd at least had some peace and giving up the title of Captain from Point hope was a good thing, even though he tried to pull the school together after a massive falling out he didn't have what it took to be quite the leader. Regardless that didn't bother him instead he sat in a trance like state eating his own lunch.
"Watch it fag!" A large bully would push through the seat picking on the passive looks of Jaus Valentine.
He'd look up without too much acknowledgment ignoring the tall brute whom stood about eight feet tall a good head or two over Jaus himself. But now the bully had caught wind of fear despite that not being the case. A firm smirk as Jaus ignored him thus further provoking a sense of errant rage.
"C'mon punk you Chicken?"
Val's coat seized by the brute and yet once more went ignored. This pushed the man into a mocking sense treating the fair boy with as much disrespect as a farm yard animal. With a swift jerk Jaus would be pushed aside and the boy taking his spot.
"Excuse me... I was sitting there..."
"What're you gunna do about it pussy."
Jaus didn't say a thing rather his fist extended harshly firing into the large boy's face careening him through the wall. And as effortless as the action began Jaus retook his seat and began eating as though nothing had happened.

Victor looked up, a squabble, yes of course, because lunch time just wasn't lunch time without some dick measuring, right? some stupid bully was picking on a little guy, Victor got up, ready to do his super bro thing.
SUPER BRO TO THE RESCUE!
it had been far too long since he had thought about that, a small smirk rose on his lips
the big guy sat down and the little one got up, and with a well placed punch the little guy sent the other boy flying through the wall. sure, the guy who got shot into the wall was an asshole, but what did that wall ever do to the little guy. Victor chuckled, he didn't actually care about the wall, crisis averted. it was easy to forget that many students of this school where very capable of defending themselves. the little guy didn't look too aggressive, but then, as Victor knew full well, looks could be deceiving. shrugging his massive shoulders Victor turned around to see the bully's friends coming up, having watched their buddy get pummeled Victor imagined things where gonna get nasty for the new kid fast.
Victor calmly walked over to the new guy. "Hey bro, not to bother you, but zere are a number of zat bullie's friends who I think are going to be a little upset that you just socked their friend through a wall" Victor said, his German accent thick, but still filled with Californian energy and speech pattern. it was curious to listen to. Victor turned to look. "in fact, I'd zay there is about 5 of zem" Victor added.
"Move it Victor, we want the little guy" one of them said, a husky voice filled with rage. Victor looked back down to the boy at the lunch table and back to his acquaintance. of course they knew who he was... if only he could say the same for them. "Nah... your bro was being a dick, he kind of deserved it" Victor said shrugging, his rich baritone calm and collected. the boy looked at victor with scrutiny, he wanted to attack, but he knew better, a look into victor's blue eyes, and then down to the red armband that was on Victor's right arm, back to Victors eyes. he was calculating his chances considering it was 5 on 1.
"Is it really worth it?" Victor asked, "From vat I can tell, zis boy would wipe ze floor vith you" Victor said easily, looking back to the boy and smiling. Victor hadn't intended to do all the work for him, if this boy was anything like him, he'd want a piece of the action too, and Victor was just inviting him to step up to the plate.

Jaus could sense a little squabble occurring behind him, the subtle words referring to him as the "little guy" rolling his eyes gently as he ate Jaus managed swallowing down the sandwich and remaining relatively neutral to this argument unsure of whether the German boy was on his side, against him or simply a pacifist waiting to detour the action.
Jaus raised a hand slenderly without shifting his attention to observe the 5 v 1 about to occur behind him, quite honestly he didn't care about some low rank fighters, he'd seen very little action since coming here in fact but he knew well enough that this school had better talent then the kind he'd just sent through the wall.
"Would you mind keeping it down while I eat.... I'll come fight you later once I'm finished."
Jaus said without much of a care slurping down the tall soda ravenously as though their chit-chatting was seriously disturbing his meal.

Victor looked down to the boy as he spoke, honestly dissapointed by his response, sure it was full of snarky disrespect that was deserved by the five but it lacked real action... someone who only talked when they had the strength to take action. it was... saddening, and Victor had such high hopes. Victor turned to the other boys. "I suppose that about settles it" Victor said, and in a blur several punches had flown out, striking each of the five in the gut, four of whom doubled over and simply fell, the last, the first boy to speak still stood. "The fuck bro?" he asked, Victor just shook his head, so dissapointing. "enjoy your lunch" Victor said to the boy still eating, and he hoped the boy would.
he began to walk away before he thought completely about what to do next. the kid had potential... but how...
a little lightbulb went off in Victor's head. though he couldn't do it just yet, he'd have to wait for a moment. just to see what happened next. of course that last kid was still concious too... he was curious if that boy would attack or wander off after Victor's quick and decisive punishment had been laid down.

Jaus finished up quickly anticipating the fight to come to his doorstep sooner than it actually did, he was prepared for such a brawl but he certainly wasn't waiting it out or being passive he just had a lackluster patience for things a tight responsive frame of mind.
Turning round to fight the 5 v 1 scenario he cocked a brow noting that they were already leveled by the German boy who'd come to his aid. That was strictly unnecessary. Almost an insult in most respects at least to him.
"Hey.... I could've handled them."
Jaus shot back what'd look to be an angry response though it was rather cold and concise. "Now you owe me a fight seeing as how I got myself worked up."
Jaus would direct a glare at him studying his features over. Broad shoulders, bigger than him in stature but not in height. He also looked better suited for a wrestling team or even a football player than a fighter. Those shoulders must interrupt his reach.

Now it begins
Victor smirked, turning to the boy, his cold words sounded with a fair amount of intelligence, the boy was simply calm, not passive aggressive, just calm. Victor enjoyed hearing the challenge in its very essence, it was an almost elegant way to challenge someone to a duel.
"I'm sure you could have, but you just seemed so peaceful, didn't want to rock the boat" Victor said with a little laugh, now slightly mocking the boy's high brow speech
"If you really wanna fight be my guest, I'm standing right here" Victor said easily, letting words flow out of his mind, absolutely no filter "Though I don't see how its my fault that you got yourself worked up" Victor mentioned easily, as if a little bored with the situation. Victor was pushing at the boys buttons, or seeing if he could.
"Would you like to take it outside, or is the middle of the crowded lunch hall cool with everybody?" Victor then asked, looking around as people began to turn their attentions and watch, some standing up from their seats, and others foregoing that and jumping onto the tables to get a better view of the spectacle that was about to be performed.
now Victor turned more serious, his boisterous smile turned to one of a respectful smirk toward jaus, Victor motioned for him, "Though first I would like to know your name, if you'd be so kind" Victor said with a little chuckle, enjoying the moment of dramatic flare.
and how far does the rabbit hole go?

Jaus flashed something of a scowl at his repetitive questions, words words, always working in a circle something to divert the situation of change things around. Jaus could see the man well enough and understand full well what he was like. Boisterous, talkative, he lived in a world of words or perhaps hiding behind them ashamed of himself perhaps. That would be a striking similarity of course knowing Val's past.
"It doesn't matter."
Jaus said darting forward his left shoulder angled forward into the strike before firing a quick uppercut aimed at the boy'd chin coming all too close to grazing the torso itself justly hoping to put him perhaps a bit on edge. His footsteps however would be traced beneath him subtly as to not have his weight thrown out from beneath him lest the force was indeed strong enough.
"Name's Jaus." He'd flash quickly without hesitation firing his second fist, the right one angled downward across the boy's cheek with intention to send him aback and on the defensive.

Victor just smiled as he stated that here was fine, but more over the smile was at the scowl, so jaus could be pushed by words to some degree, that was good to know. Victor watched the boy's approach, he was faster than the average student, certainly, however they where clearly in different tiers, at least in speed, as for strength there was only one way to find out
the boy juked a lot, and considering the difference in speed it could be his downfall, but Victor remained oddly still right up until the moment that jaus's uppercut grazed over his chest and solidly connected with Victor's chin. not bad, Victor stepped back one step, though it was of his own volition not the force of the punch, he kept perfect balance as jaus introduced himself.
"well met, I'm Victor" Victor said casually, the second right fist roaring toward him, Victor's left arm would come up, his forearm catching at jaus's elbow, a quick shift, shoving jaus's arm up, and Victor's left hand would slide grabbing jaus around the back of the neck while the rest of his massive arm kept jaus's right arm stuck in the air, completely open Victor would take his right arm and give three successive jabs into jaus's gut. he'd step back, putting a few feet of space between the two of them, Victor began to bounce, this was going to be fun

In a quick instant Jaus realized he was outmatched at least for the time being as the boy named Victor rendered his right arm useless with a quick undamaging movement and reared inward towards his chest firing a series of punches however Jaus was a tactical genius in battle and quickly realized the boy had forgotten Jaus' stance and the left arm left unguarded. Firing out in the same instant Jaus would strike for Victor's gut just as the three punches collided with his own chest, grunting in dismay at the force of the blows suddenly he'd back up gathering himself into a better position.
"Quite a punch. hph."
Jaus said recovering himself from the blow, he still wasn't entirely impressed, in a short ordeal he'd suffered worse blows but he'd need to step his game up to even compete in a match like this.
Jaus would come forward this time just as direct though with a hint of caution to his movements the right hand lurched out to fire at Victor's defenses perhaps suitably act as a distraction. Because the instant a guard was lifted Jaus would shift the blow back using the force to roundhouse kick Victor in the side of the head. If not defended Jaus would follow through though once more using his left hand to fire up into the bulk's gut.

Victor felt the punch at his gut that came, of course Victor had let the left hand go on purpose, he was being careless yes, but he had a good feeling about this fight, he saw jaus coming at him again, movement in his right arm, and as it came forward Victor lifted his right arm to catch the fist, but the boys momentum began to change the second Victor's fist had reached up, it was a feint, Victor didn't take but a moment to realize the kick coming toward his head. the problem with roundhouses, you have to turn all the way around first... dead give away every time
Victor's right hand instead went to catch the kick at the boys shin, and if he managed to grab it he would twist his hand so his palm was just below the boy's calf and using the boys own momentum he would swing him in a half circle, tossing him into the crowd of kids behind them

The normal reaction was to tuck and roll but Jaus wasn't in the mood to exactly save some of the innocents from a harsh smash. Besides the mass of brutes saved his fall acting as pillows when they visible caught him making room to stand. Jaus rose to his full height taking the lax time to dust off his coat noting how the boy fought mostly defensive and remaining on the offensive without a visible advantage was definitely stupid. So the game was to change, drastically.
"Enough fooling around.."
Jaus muttered as he took off his coat, the force of it's weight shattering the ground beneath it as it fell. Of course the whole instant he'd been wearing weighted garments must often come as a shock when he fought. It pleasantly excited him to see the opponents face at the force of the coat.
"Round two." Jaus would move into a defensive stance moving his hands to provoke an assault on him.

Victor watched the boy fly through the air "Fore!" he said jokingly as he flew, and as he hit the mass of kids "strike! he said doing a little fist pump. the boy stood, Victor supposed he was trying to be dramatic, no more fooling around eh? alright sounds fine with Victor
the coat hit the floor, the room shook a little bit and the lights flickered, everyone's eyes grew wide, but Victor... he just smiled. "oh good, for a minute I thought I was the only one who did that" Victor said, pulling off his own coat, and tossing it onto a nearby table, of course the weight difference between the coats was huge, but still the difference Victor felt was huge too
Dex: 123.5 Con: 84.5
Jaus invited him to attack, that was fine Victor bounced a little, then ran forward, he wasn't gonna go easy on the kid anymore, he really wanted to push him.
Victor ran forward a blonde blur, in an instant his hands shot out, they would grab around jaus's wrists and pull down, hard, and Victor's right knee would shoot up into the boy's stomach, which of course would probably knock the wind out of him and render him something less than mobile. this would be followed swiftly by two more attacks of the same type before victor would twist both wrists and throw the boy to the ground behind him, turning with him to always be facing him, and as the boy hit the ground Victor would finish with a massive curb stomp on the boy's upper back, not nearly as devastating, but he didn't want to completely break the boy either.
if all of this was successful Victor would back off far enough that he couldn't be reached by the boy and wait for him to get back up again

Jaus found himself backed up towards the defensive now, of course he'd asked for it, but this was just the tip of the iceberg seeing as how the boy's speed was massively greater than his own though he'd take pride in the little movements that would save him from horrid damages. Taking a quarter of a step back and shifting his palms far enough apart so that only one of his wrists was easily caught. Moving with Victor's force driven attack though lacking tact as far as Jaus could see. Jaus would use the forward momentum from the strike to drive his forehead into Victor's face a useful head butt and seeing as how their heights differed, the only way of Victor having made good evasion of it would be to altercate his body and rather throw Jaus to the boy's side rather than beneath him.
This momentum would send Jaus to his back rather than falling face first in an embarrassing tizzy. Now he'd still be at the mercy of Victor but he'd be far from bending to the boy's might, there were still some tricks Jaus had to make use of in his arsenal. The curb stomp was to be met by Valentine's flaming palms consumed by a visibly electric aura. his features suddenly changed as his Qi consumed his features. Eyes glowing an electric blue and devilish in their own sense as he'd use the grasp of palms locked on the boy's boot to thrust him back giving Jaus a bit of space to breath as he solidified himself.
"I suppose this means round three..." Valentine's mood changed to that of enjoyment as though each stage he unlocked brought him closer to something of happiness.

Victor miscalculated apperantly, he didn't honestly think the boy would be able to dodge being grabbed, still it was an easy fix, and as the boy went for the headbutt he would simply find Victor sidestepping and throwing him down as he had planned originally though catching Victor's boot and pushing him back was definately a nice touch to the boy's credit. apperantly the boy's Qi had now made him physically stronger than Victor. Victor considered using his Qi for only a moment, but then decided against it, he really wanted to see what the boy could muster up first. in reality Victor had been hit by the first uppercut and a weak punch to his gut, and really he was still feeling quite fresh, and now with the boy's Qi out things would get interesting.
Victor just bounced in place, he'd let the other boy make the first move
