At last, I'm away from the hands of those whom held me down. No more will they torture me with what I so desperately despise. Free one may say, but I will refuse to acknowledge this when all my ties to my despair are cut loose. Long last I may finally accomplish what I thought couldn't be done... wouldn't be done.
I stare through the window. She was enjoying a life I feel is lost to my future. This girl represented the immanent suffering I've dealt with for a good few years... Her death will be the death of who I am today, who I was yesterday, and lastly, it will be the death of who made me as a whole.
A smile that had not shown any traces of laughter or happiness slipped across her soft features. Memories seeping through the cracks of the barrier she had weakly built. Nothing was stable and at any given moment Olivia could crumble just as she had many times in the past. Her small had wiped at the rain that was trickling across her face and blinding her view. Normally rain would serve only to annoy, but being locked up in a mental institution after her last murder attempt.... she welcomed the freedom in which rain gifted.
A shaky hum escaped passed her lips. The song representing the loss of her life. A hand pressed against the cold glass as her hands radiated the heat that would cause the window to fog. A child sat across the rug playing with various toys as in the audience to the child was the husband coddling his lover.
I watch as they bask in what they take for granted and what had been stolen from me. The only thing that is clouding my mind is the need to pry it from their hands may it be their dead hands. It is the only way I can feel a sense of closure whether or not it actually effects them in any way. It's for me.
He kissed her on the forehead before departing for a early retirement. She looked lovingly into his eyes before her attention settled upon the peaceful child and that was when Olivia stepped back and disappeared into the dark.
It was easy enough to enter their home. Walking through their back door. By this point they were all in bed. The home was painted a tinted shadow from the raining moon. Olivia took her time to get to know the family by staring at the photos. Stepping up the stairs she found the room. The two nestled together in the large bed. Creeping slowly she knelt down by the husband and took in his scent before turning her attention to the one who she had plans for.
Her emerald hues stared at the girl under slumber who had still looked so beautiful. Black hair draped delicately over the white pillow as she carefully brushed it away from her neck. Quickly she stuck a needle in her neck. She let forth the liquid as fast as the needle pierced through the skin so as not to have a frantic scream that would wake everyone in the home. Now it was safe to say the drug was begging through the woman's veins and she was sound asleep.
~~~~~~
I watch as she shifted about the floor. It had been obvious the effects of the drug had worn thin as she stirred about uncomfortably. She got up and a hand reached to her neck no doubtingly feel that sore spot in which the chemical had left a burning sensation. I was watching myself a few years ago. I was confused and in pain while someone stared down upon me. Already I could feel justice excite within my mind as she panted a little more scared now that she was getting a better grasp of the situation. She felt her face, but her hand received nothing but an unfamiliar kiss from a cloth. I crafted a mask to suit the one I had been born to wear. She was in an outfit that resembled the one that I had been put in against my will. I heard her cry and press her hand to her mouth as she tried screaming. I knew it would do her no good and would only cause pain. I could imagine prying your mouth open to scream was only going to serve you suffering with freshly sewn shut lips. I wasn't allowed to talk so she wasn't allowed to. Seemed fair.
"You're my experiment." Olivia would repeat the words that had been said to her by none other than Agent Shu. "I want you to know that you will serve me greatly." though the only difference between what was saying and what Shu was... was that Olivia served it alive and the only way the girl crippled across the floor could only serve it through death. "Consider it fair that I'm killing you." she had thought out what she had wanted to say to her. It felt good to finally let it out. "I had to suffer for years while you got to build a life that I will never have."
Olivia stepped forth an grabbed the girl by the back of the neck and propped her up against a wall. "Though sadly I'm going to have to do it slowly." She would grab a metal prong that had been sitting in a near by fire. "First... you're going to feel a cold sensation.... then... the smell of your own flesh is going to envelop your nose as the pain begins to throb." she pressed the tip to her neck as the girl started to scream... fresh blood began to seep through the mask as it was obvious she was putting stress on the wounds around her lips. As the skin seared she would slowly push the tip further pressing it harder and harder as skin started to melt and curl over the hot metal. In small progression the skin and prong had begun to meld together as the point was pressed deep into her skin and finally through her neck. There was no blood due to the pace the spike had been punched through. The heat of the metal and seared the skin and veins shut before heaps of blood could spill forth.
~~~~~~
I stared up at the scene in which everyone was so shocked to see. I blended in looking as if I was dazed and confused at the corpse that was strung up high. Really had been there before everyone who had arrived and made the display myself.
The half naked girl was hanging by chains that were linked to either side of the prong that had been pushed through her neck. Those lifeless green eyes stared down at the crowd below her... seeing what the living could not.
My job is done. It may never fully bring the justice I deserve... but it is the best I can do. O, sister, my sister. I love you, Alexis Green.
