He had been watching his opponent carefully. This showdown wasn't the type to be taken lightly. He'd already guaged the differences in their strengths and speeds from their first little skirmish, and knew it would take a lot more than his own indomitable will to bridge the gap. However, stalling and possibly injuring this behemoth were now at the top of Rem's 'to-do' list. As a result, he focused his entire being into the man's shoulders. Statistically speaking, it was the truth that no matter what move a human, or something more than human in this case, did or where they were bringing it from, their shoulders would be the first thing to so much as twitch. And twitch it did. As soon as the young man saw it, he had already pushed himself backwards with all of his might, just barely avoiding being caught by the neck and receiving nothing but a deep gash at his collarbone as a result. He squinted in pain as his life's precious liquid drained out, spelling another rising concern. It would only be a matter of time before he would grow punch drunk due to blood loss. If that was the case then, he had only a few minutes to do make some sort of retaliation. He performed a shoulder roll as he landed, to avoid putting too much pressure on his one good leg. "I won't be able to dodge him again...that's pretty much a one time trick..." Blood flowed freely now from two sources, his lips and the wound at his upper chest. The boy grit his teeth. Who did this guy think he was? The boogey man? Someone to be afraid of? Rem had had enough of being easily intimidated and had grown a personality and demeanor to make up for his small stature. "All or nothing..." His eyes changed color, gaining a bright yellow hue in the irises as he made a dash toward Valekin with every last ounce of his speed, electricity crackling and popping around his body. "Hyaku-nen..." He would slide between the man's legs, skidding to a halt just as he cleared them, cocking an elecrticity charged fist back and then unleashed a torrent of electricity enhanced, rapid fire punches, so fast that they all blurred into one another so that the direction of each would be entirely undiscernable, or at the very least, shouldn't be. "Butobasu!!!" (Hundred Year Beatdown) It was his ultimate technique. The one that had proved that Anime Martial Arts was no laughing matter. It exuded the realm of the believeable and it was something the boy was extremely proud of doing.

The gash was progress. He was toying with the boy, as he could. He watched the kid move ever so slowly to get out of his range, to avoid being grabbed by the throat. The boy would try. And try as he might, he would not win.
He was fighting a losing battle. This boogey man was far too powerful for him.
The slide for between his legs, would meet such resistance. A short step to the left, and a quick stomp with the right. To catch the boy in the stomach, or chest. Either or. Either would be effective. Hell, if he hit the boy in the groin, that would be productive too, or the face. As the boots he wore were steel plated on the bottoms, and toes, as well as the back of the heel. Hadn't I mentioned this before? Valekin's speed, strength, and durability. Were through the roof. So much power concentrated in one body.
"You talk far too loud, and far too much."
It was one counter, for one attack. Rendering the rest of his proposed assault a fleeting dream. None of it would happen. Only the here and now. The boot falling at a ridiculous speed towards the boy's abdomen, or torso. Valekin was getting annoyed, the longer the boy fights, the more pain would be inflicted.

Pain such as this had never been thought of, even in the boy's most lucid, most wildest of dreams. His skating form was suddenly rooted to the ground as the man's foot smashed into his abdomen, with such force that Rem it felt like his organs were rattling. A cloud of dust would be uprooted, moving outward in a circular fashion with the two fighters at its epicenter, yet another testament to the awesome strength and force that had resulted from the attack. Spurt after spurt of blood ejected itself from his wide open mouth, stifling the scream of pain that raced to escape him. He lay there for a few seconds, his bloodloss already giving him tunnel-vision. Looking up at the tall monstrocity, who seemed oh so far away, he would just grin as he heard what the man had to say. "Yeah, I get that a lot..." Accepting defeat was no problem for him, he'd done it on many an occasion. However, a slight ounce of fear filled his being at the mere thought of being left at the mercy of this man. He masked his disillusionment well with a slightly arrogant grin, a bit twisted as his face also sported a mask of intense pain. "So...this is how far apart we really are, huh? Great..." At that moment, Delilah suddenly popped into his mind. So beautiful, so smart, so...very...hot... The perverted thoughts that came to mind comforted him somewhat, taking his mind off of the situation at hand, but it was only a matter of time that the man would react, either speaking or dealing the final blow, ending his life as he probably had the owner of the skin and skeleton back in the clearing.

"So we are."
The monster slid the boot up the boy's body towards his throat. In the boy's current state, he'd pass out within seconds. Which would give Valekin exactly what he needed to terrorize him for an extended period of time. Call it a personal hell if you will. As one's experience of life, is different from everyone else's. Therefore one's experience of Hell will be different.
Valekin was merely going to give him a taste of Hell.
He had been watching this boy for days, and had plenty of time. It would merely be a bit tedious setting it all up. And it was, he had a tight schedule to keep, and only finished just that early evening. Leaving him plenty of time to watch the kid, set up the skins and skeletons, and take him out.

He didn't even have the strength in his body to even grip at the man's ankle as his foot pressed against his larynx. His goofy grin remained on his face even as his consciousness slipped away from the him, his thoughts still planted on Delilah.

Valekin dragged the boy's unconscious body out of the park, and into the street. Making sure the boy's body had ran over plenty of rocks. He didn't even lift him over the curb, he just pulled him, and the body came. If you wanted to know, he had the boy by the hair. With that, he dragged him into the middle of the street, and removed the loosened sewer drain cover. He lifted the body by the throat with his great clawed hands, and dropped him inside. Then the psychopath had sealed him into the darkness, pushing the cover over the manhole, and actually putting the bolts back in, and tightening them, with a drill he had hid in a nearby bush.
He didn't even wait for the splash into the filthy water, he just covered it up, and sealed him in. Valekin knew which way the boy would have to go when he woke up, if he woke up. He had it all planned out, a living Hell on earth for him to put himself to the test. It would be...of the most horrific proportions.
"See you at the end of the maze, rat."
HYE HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA....
If the boy woke, he'd find himself in a chamber with a river running through it. In fact, he'd probably find himself in the filthy water. No one would hear his screams at this time of night, and the sewer junction to the school's access was cut off. It was barred. The kid would have to go down the river of filth, if he was in the mood to try to escape.

Where...am I? Am I even still alive...? Rem did not know for how long he had been unconscious, but he could tell that he was still alive when he woke up to a severe migraine as well as numerous aches and pains in various parts of his body. At least he didn't kill me...but...damn... Right off the bat he could tell that most, if not all of his ribs were broken. His right ankle was torn and pretty much useless from the clawed hand of his opponent. He let his consciousness spread to his extremities, the environment around him taking shape and form. He lay face up in at least a foot or two of water, dirty water judging from the god-awful stench of the area and the random objects bumping into him. He was fortunate. Had he landed face-down he'd have drowned easily. He lay there with his eyes closed for another hour or so before he had the strength and the will to stir. He sat up, ignoring the screaming protest of his broken ribs, and somehow managed to get to his feet, keeping most of his weight on his uninjured foot. Appears to be a cave or cavern of some sort...or...the sewers...? The sewers beckoned to him like a dark herald, ushering another set of torturing events. Why hadn't he just listened to Delilah and leave it be? No, he had to be the honorable one. "A lot of good that did me...still...It was...a good learning experience..." He wiped his face and sighed, propping himself up against a wall with his left hand whilst cradling his chest with the next. A few rats scurried past him, diving into the water and making their way across, through the muck. He took a look at his surroundings and found only one unbarred passage, straight through the filthy water. He glanced up at the ceiling and noticed the manhole cover. In his current condition, there was no way that he could climb the ladder to get up there successfully. "Great...well its not like I'm going to get out by sticking around here..." Slowly, he took off down that path.

The water was running much faster than it was before. It appeared to be a waterfall at the end of this particular tunnel. In the chamber the water all gathered in; it moved south, towards the treatment plant. But that way was barred, he'd have to go east, against the flow of the water, because everything else was barred too. In the darkness, there was a flashlight sitting up against an access ladder to climb down into the chamber. Along with six C sized batteries. The flashlight already had batteries in it, but it was a guarantee that he'd need the extra power.
It would be a long climb down.
He'd definitely be in the underground longer than he expected. Probably for days. If he was lucky, his cut ankle wouldn't get infected with all the filth down here. That was if he was lucky. If he wasn't so lucky, it would get infected, and that would slow him down considerably. The disgusting water, the slimy walls. Everything was dirty beyond all cleansing products. Not even high levels of bleach or chlorine could clean up this environment.

With another quick analysis, Rem did a sharp 360 and headed back the way he came, walking against the flow of dirty water. His body spasmed at random intervals as he tried desperately to ignore the sharp pains in his ankle and his ribs. "Great, now I'm like one of those lab rats..." He quickly grabbed onto the flashlight and pocketed the batteries. As long as he had this, he felt a bit safer. Even without batteries, his electricity could power the device for as long as it took. The Japanese youth took one last look at the area before heaving a huge sigh, with much difficulty because of the state of his ribs. No way to go but down, eh? Screw it... He took the ladder all the way down, a harrowing experience because of his injuries. Once at the bottom, Rem shone the flashlight through every nook and cranny of the place. A couple more rats scurried across extremely narrow ledges and for a second, standing in the midst of the fetid water, he wished that he was one of them, able to traverse a safe distance away from the water. "...I wonder what Lilah-chan's wearing now..." He smiled suddenly, he had found the perfect way to pass the time. "...maybe those overalls again? ...with nothing underneath...or maybe just one of her thigh-long T-shirts and a pair of those white, laced panties..." Talking to himself in such a manner, he continued on along whichever path that was available to him.

At the end of the tunnel, if he was paying any attention at all, there'd be a faint glow. As the boy would come to the fork in the road (Twas more of a perpendicular thing, but you get my meaning.), he'd most likely notice another skeleton, with it's eyes missing, and instead coins. Pocket change, adding up to that particular person's birth date. In each eye socket. Shivers down my spine boys and girls, shivers down my spine.
Along the walls he'd probably notice a ruby glisten, like they've been painted with... paint. Or something like that. Instead, of paint, it was blood, which we all saw coming. Kinda getting a little boring right now, eh? Skeleton with change for eyes, blood on the walls spelling out nasty things like; "Welcome to Hell," And suffer, die, kiss my ass. You get the deal.
The point of the matter was, this was a crossroads, and he'd have to pick which way to go now, as both paths were open. Both paths were probably trapped, and both paths led to a way out. It's just the kind of way out that was in question.

The impact of this horrific environment perhaps had the effect the one who'd set it up had intended. Rem's eyes nearly bugged out of his skull, his hand instinctively moving to cover his nose from the putrid stench of death and decay. Come on Rem! You've seen worse than this! Even though he was trying desperately to fight it, it seemed that this skeleton evoked the emotion and fear that had been withheld from the first one as well. Not caring if it hurt like hell (No doubt any movement hurt like hell given his current condition), the Japanese youth hurried past the scene ignoring, as best he could, the blood painted graffiti. How'd he know it was blood? The thought of a possible answer frightened him, so he decided not to dwell on the matter. Two paths lay before him and he was beginning to think that there really wasn't a way out, that his captor was just deciding to toy with him like a cat does with a mouse before it eats it. Either way, Rem knew for a certainty that he didn't want to die. He tilted the flashlight down the left path and began to hobble down it, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Rem had gone down the left path. Either he was very brave, or he did not know where he was going at all. We'll go with the latter. As there wasn't much of a way that he could know where he was going. Unless his dad kept maps of the sewers in their home. A few meters after he had gone down that path, he would come across an area where the river was covered. Finally, room to actually walk. It would probably be a bit easier from there on out with that.
The tunnel would start to get more narrow. With bars welded to cross the tunnel randomly. Up, down, left, right, diagonally, and at all different angles. It was like a jungle gym. Some bars had spikes welded onto them, just waiting for the hapless to put their hand down there, to impale it. Lucky for Rem, he had a light. The way would look dangerous, but there was a way. If Rem was careful, he could make it through unscathed. If he took his time.
Did Rem have time?

"Gah..." His insides burned as the pain worsened and he spit out a teaspoon's worth of blood as he came upon the haphazard, wirey cage. With one hand basically out of commision, the only way to get through this was to stick the flashlight's grip into his mouth. Excrutiatingly, he began pulling himself through the spaces, fitting through them with no problem due to his diminutive stature. "Ah!? Fuck!" He hastily pulled a hand away as he felt a slight, yet painful prick. The Japanese boy wiped the blood from his open palm onto his jeans and continued on, this time wary of the presence of spiky bars. After ten or so minutes, he was through, breathing heavily and keeling over in near-exhaustion. He was really starting to be affected by this. He felt like crying, through the pain, the weakness. Was this psychological damage what his antagonist had planned? "Fuck you..." He'd taken the flashlight into his hand again. Pulling himself up into a standing position, he brushed his forearm against his eyes to wipe away the beginnings of tears as they gathered there and then, slowly, began to wander forward.

It was all tunnel from there on out, a huge length of tunnel under a street. The distance would be terrible for someone that was bleeding, and in his condition. It'd be painful, and it'd make him even more fatigued than he was already. That's if he took the time to move now while he was still awake, and not on the verge of passing out. Time was of the essence.
Anyway.
It was a long tunnel. Best get walking bub, it's dark in there.

...and walk he did. Well not so much walking as dragging himself across the distance at the expense of his last quarter of energy and the pain of his injuries. He was now on his final set of batteries for the flashlight. He'd decided a long while before that the constant use of his Qi in his condition would drain him a lot faster. The light coming from the little machine had begun to dim already. His eyes were now also half shut. He had lost a lot of blood in this damned sewer, not to mention, he was on the verge of passing out. "...Heh...I shoulda listened to...Lilah-chan..." At that moment, he tripped himself up and fell hard. The jolt shook the flashlight from his grasp and sent it against a wall...hard, breaking it instantly. "Fuck...fuck..." He repeated these words as tears now flowed freely from his eyes. He was supremely frustrated. Realistically speaking...there was no way he could conjure up enough strength to get out of this place. Was he really going to die here? After all the show and words he spewed? And most importantly...how much of a jerk was he? Delilah had warned him against going after this man for fear of his safety, but he'd selfishly gone dispite that. He knew if anything happened to him she'd blame herself. "No..." Struggling, he managed to push himself up with his good hand, causing his body to tilt over against the wall. Using the wall for support, he managed to shimmy his body into a standing position. He staggered to maintain his balance, but thankfully managed to do it. Without the flashlight, this'd be difficult. He closed his eyes and took a deep, painful breath and began to eminate a bit of his electricity in the form of light, struggling on. He had to survive...for her...
